"We arrived right on time for our "appointment," but the office was "closed," meaning no one was at the reception desk because they were at lunch. We waited 30 minutes" for someone to check us in as first time patients. There was a large amount of paperwork that they emailed to me, which I completed prior to our arrival, and the explanation as to why they required me and my family to arrive early is so that we can complete the paperwork.
? Every time I've called their office, I have never reached a live person...only a recording saying that they will return calls within one business day. My children really loved the dental hygienists, however, I was not thrilled about Dr.
. Her
was condescending as she lectured without hearing or acknowledging the other part of the conversation, mine. Her prices are steep, and the work she wanted to do on my son's BABY TEETH, was ludicrous! $1395 for a pulpotomy (leaving him with a silver cap! but not once bothering to "lecture" me on the end result) that is going to fall out anyway, plus some other work. My son DOES .need work done on his teeth, but I got the feeling like this was a "cash cow" working on my children's teeth. For basic cleaning, fluoride, bitewings x-rays for two children, cost $458, and my insurance only reimbursed me for half of her charges. It's too bad we will not be going back to her. I have no problem paying for necessary dental work, but I just did not come away very confident with Dr.
and the lack of information and communication.

"Dr
and her assistant
, and all the folks I've met at DC Kids Dental, are wonderful. I only wish they did adult teeth as well. (But" if they did, they wouldn't be who they are.) They make the office a fun place to visit, even to have scary work done. One of my daughters needed 4 teeth pulled when she was 11, and the dentist and her assistant just made the whole experience non-scary. The assistant made lighthearted jokes that put us all at ease. But they also take great care of her teeth. The same daughter broke both of her front teeth in a swimming pool accident when we were across country visiting my parents, and she wouldn't let my mother's dentist touch her...she wanted to wait to see Dr.
. Dr.
took care of her and caused her no anxiety. She also recommended we have a specialist examine her dental nerves, just to make sure we addressed the entire problem. They also do a great job of talking directly to the kids, and helping them to understand and be responsible for taking care of their teeth, rather than lecturing the parent on tooth-brushing. I feel so lucky to have found Dr.
. Her practice is not located close to our house, but I'm happy to commute to see her.

"Very smooth operation at Dr
office. The office is friendly and very child appropriate. Staff greeted me quickly and had me fill out my first-time paperwork." Upon seeing the cleaning tech, they were great with the kids and made them feel comfortable the whole time. The tech's explained the procedures to the kids as well as me. Dr
checkup was efficient and she recommended braces for my daughter. My daughter has those braces and thanks to Dr
guidance will have a fabulous smile as an older woman. I feel great about seeing Dr
again.

Never a problem with the services from the doctors, hygienists and administrative. They have an excellent pediatrics department - my child actually enjoys going to the dentist. They have advanced technology here - I was able to get a new crown within an hour and not weeks!

They are awesome. I drive half an hour to go to him. There are dentists in my area but I prefer him. His staff is very friendly. They have good customer service. He only does work that is necessary. He spends time with them and explains what he is doing. I've been taking my kids there for about 2 years.

My son had a tooth filling that needed to be done and a nerve got hit. This caused his mouth to swell. Three days later the swelling had gotten so huge and was causing a lot of pain. We went to the emergency room and they prescribed antibiotics. It kept getting worse and the pain was not going away. I called Dr.

at 11 p.m. on a weekend. He calmed my son down, took x-rays and figured out the problem. My son has been perfectly happy to go back to him since.

They are very good, the office is very nice, they have tons of stuff for the kids to do, and they have TVs on all the walls for the time you are there getting your teeth cleaned. The doctor is amazing, he is so good. We haven't had any problems with them. They were wonderful.

I have been taking the kids here for about 10 years. Part of the staff will visit Guatemala to provide dental care each year. They are great with children and kids with special needs. The kids love visiting and so do their friends that have gone. They are very child oriented and the office is very accommodating for children and parents. They are great at explaining everything to you. The waiting area is extremely child friendly. It is best to schedule ahead of time because they are very popular. I would imagine they would be very accommodating in the case of an emergency. I would highly recommend this dentist to others.

They are fantastic with adults and children. They are very accommodating with scheduling. Everybody is extremely friendly and very pleasant to work with. My entire family goes to them. They've done extensive work for me including crowns. It's a father and son team and I primarily see the son. He is fantastic and the work was essentially pain-free and he provided his cell number and offered very good follow-up care.
