We are so happy with the job that they did for us. We knew what we wanted and sketched it out for them. When they didn't have a few of the correctly sized boards to build with, they went back out to get what we needed and didn't charge for the extra time. We will definitely recommend them to all our neighbors who need carpentry work done.

arrived on time after having called ahead to let me know status of appointment. He was courteous and professional, completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely recommend him and will contact him for future work.

The kitchen cabinets look brand new! We were thrilled with the work. It saved us tons of money not to have to buy new cabinets. And the antique hutch now has a modern white and gray finish which complements our decor much better.

is a careful professional whose work is done in a timely manner and for a fair price. I'm sure there are more projects we'll need him for.

We never heard back from him. Not a phone call, email, etc. I guess business is booming out here and he didn't need the work. Really unprofessional not to even call back. Makes you wonder what would have happened if we had hired him.

Delivered all promised work. When he discovered that one part of the job could not be executed as planned he took care of it within the original estimate.

I moved into this newly home built in 2012 and did not pay the additional $5000 for the cookie cutter bathroom. The builder mistakenly roughed out the bathroom and went as far to provide lighting and a vent so

did the rest and they did a great job. I picked out all the tile and paint and they went to pick it up. They give you a budget to work with once you set what your willing to pay. I bought a few items such a mirror, vanity and accent tile which was deducted from finally cost. Everyone who use the bathroom just

First it was a bit difficult to get a time for them to look at the job (no problem).
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came by, had a look, and after discussing the job with his boss offered to do it for $450 (+ material cost for second railing post that we at first only wanted to have fixed rather than replaced). He came (on a Sunday), and I hung around to give him a hand and pick up a trick or two.
It was clear right away that he would have to come back another day as the lumberyard where he wanted to buy the cedar post is closed on Sundays. He finished the corner board that day, I paid the $450 and received a handwritten receipt for labor and material. Then I didn't hear back for a while (they were still busy with a big job), meanwhile our porch wasn't safe to use as one side of railing was missing. Meanwhile I went to the lumberyard myself to get the railing post. After three weeks and repeated calls/text messages I received a call (at 10:30, being at work) whether they could come at noon the same day. I was a bit surprised but made sure I was home by noon. Unfortunately,
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was late more than half an hour. He then installed the two railing posts in about 3.5 hours. Then I was surprised as he asked for $300 once done. Of that, $50 were for material (the only piece of wood that was used was a short piece of pressure treated 2x8 or so, and he had to rent a circular saw from Home Depot because his colleague had forgotten to leave him his, but should I pay for that?). At no time before was it mentioned that the original offer of $450 would have to be corrected. I said that I was surprised and was subsequently told that that was the price

's boss had suggested, but I could decide on how much I want to pay. Now what kind of business practice is that? This put me in an uncomfortable spot, and I agreed to pay $200 ($150 on top of material). I did not receive a receipt.
I actually liked
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
a lot, and he did a good job, and based on that alone, I would hire them again. If there ever is a next time, I'd make sure we get a written offer, detailed written (i.e. on a computer) receipt, and that there are no surprises.

I had water coming into my basement every time it rained through cracks around my basement door frame. There were huge gaps around my door frame. I called
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and they came right away, found the source of the leaks, and sealed all of the cracks. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Their work was thorough and neat. They were very professional. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Once
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
scheduled us, everything went well. He was punctual, thorough, and efficient. He is very busy and this was a very small job (about three hours). It took a few weeks and several phone calls till he scheduled the work. Once that was set, he was on time, very efficient, and did a nice job. There was the need for an additional threshold and closure adjustment. He came back and took care of that.
He does have an email on the homepage but he does not check it regularly, which is frustrating. Once he returned a phone call and gave me his email, communication went well. The door is working well and we are pleased with the end result.

came out promptly and listened to my problem. People in my 60's building were prevented from replacing their very old wall ovens as new wall ovens today were slightly larger and would not fit. I wanted to keep my eye-level oven - and

made it possible. He

up a design and went back to his shop. It was finished in less than a week and he installed it around my now-new oven that I felt confident buying. He painted it to match the kitchen. I love it.
Seaside Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is a custom wood worker with a good mind for design. Very courteous and trustworthy as well as talented. He's now designing and building me a bookcase - room divider. More on that to come! but he's 'on it'.
