"First I rarely if ever Do I write a review --BUT I felt with his great work I had to I interviewed several [over 5] Angie's list "A" recommended" water treatment installers--
was the best and the most reasonable. He explained everything and did -great work. I highly recommend him to all. His prices where also Very Reasonable for great products. Worked around my schedule great clean-up etc If there was a "AAA" rating I would give it to him

"It was a great experience that my wife and I enjoyed having done. We were away for a few months, and it was nice to see that the water softener was in working order" when we returned. My wife's only complaint is that she hates getting out of the shower now! Also, referring a family member/friend also gets you a good discount.

3 tips to select the best water treatment

Don't overpay for the wrong water treatment system. One highly rated provider offers some tips to help you choose the right system for your home.

Water softeners

Even if your tap water comes from a reservoir, chances are it previously passed through underground caverns where it absorbed mineral deposits. Water with a high concentration of minerals is referred to as "hard" water. It's safe to drink but can harm your plumbing and appliances.

I actually just replaced my Pelican Natursoft "water softener" with an more-traditional ion exchange model.  I used the natursoft for a little over 4 years, and I can say it worked as advertised.  When remodeling a while back we decided to get a tankless water heater.  All the documentation indicated that hard water with the tankless heater is a no go.  We had to do somehting, but since I'm lazy (didn't want to deal with the salt or plumbing in a drain) and my wife didn't like soft water, the salt-free model looked attractive.  I too was somewhat skeptical, but the reviews I found looked good, and I know enough about the science of nucleation (I was a material science major in college) to know that what they said made sense, so I bought one.

One thing needs to be made clear - the natursoft system is NOT a water softener!  It contains a media which nucleates some disolved metalic salts out of solution.  These crystals, once formed, remain in the water, and still react with oils, detergents, etc. in the same manner as the disolved salts.  They also continue to form scale wherever water is allowed to evaporate, such as faucet nozels and shower heads. In fact, it's possible that evaporative scaling was even worse than before we installed the system.

Importantly, however, once in crystaline form, these salts do not stick to pipes, or in my case, heat-exchangers.  My tankless heater has a sensor to indicate when it needs to be descaled, and the manual indicates that for my water hardness and hot water use I should have had to descale approximately every 6 months.  In four years with the natursoft the descaleing indicator has never gone off.  For further evidence, when I installed my new softener a few weeks ago, I had to cut sections from the copper pipe on both the inlet and outlet side of the natursoft.  Both sections of pipe were installed at the same time as the natursoft, but while the pipe on the inlet side was green and rough on the inside, the outlet pipe looked and felt like new.

As such, if you want or need a salt-free system for some reason (low-sodium diet for blood pressure, don't like the feel of soft water, can't easily plumb a drain into the softener location, or can't carry heavy bags of salt to the softener), then I can unequivocably recommend the natursoft.  If, like my wife and I today, you want soft water, that feels soft on your skin, creates less soap scum, rinses cleaner in the dishwasher, etc., then the natursoft probably isn't for you.

Water Softener Installation And Repair reviews in Salem

Very clean, very professional installation. The installer was very knowledgeable and informative and clearly answered all of our questions. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this service provider for all water conditioning needs.

Great! Perfect example of how a company should be. Very impressed with the professionalism. Made appointment immediately, water was tested, softener was installed within a week. We had very hard water that was killing our appliances. LOVE the new softener and very, very happy we used this company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
- Laurene R.

The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed. He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.
Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning.
The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent.
Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived.
From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect. We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right.

Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
is a great educator on water conditioning and purification problems, solutions and systems. He was very professional, no pressure sales and provides excellent customer service. Will recommend him to others.

Setting up the appointment over the phone with
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
was quick and he was flexible with my schedule. He showed up on time, was very efficient, and cleaned up after himself. He took the time to go over the new water softener with me and show me how to use it. He answered all of my questions and was very professional.

This company is fabulous! We have used them twice now, once for our water softener, and now for our
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
system. They take the time to explain things completely, are very nice, prompt, and professional. We asked them to replace filters in our
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
system that we had purchased from another company (who shall remain nameless). Unlike the other company who acts like selling us their propriety filters at huge cost and replacing them interferes with their day, Imperial is a first class experience. They are not afraid to show you how easy it is to replace filters, and they don't sell

systems that use proprietary filters (if we had only known when we bought the system). If our current system breaks, we are buying a new one only from Imperial, and they are the only company we will call for future service. Well done guys!

was awesome. Very professional and polite. I am interested in getting a soft water unit and he explained were it could go in my garage and a rough estimate of the cost.

AquaSystem deserves an A+! We moved into a new house and decided to install a water softening system to improve "life quality". After some research and comparing with other vendors, we decided to go with AquaSystem of
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
due to the good review and reasonable pricing. We had the whole system installed and running one week from the initial contact with the vendor.
The whole installation process was more complicated than I expected because the main valve of our house was missing. It took the installer (
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
) quite some time and great efforts to find it and verify it. He did the diagnosis in the right order and took the time to set things right. The installer was very professional and courteous, not complaining the extra work and inconvenience at all. I was very impressed!
There was a small issue with one of the faucets after the water system installation. I emailed to
Salem Water Softener Companies Provider Name Locked
and he responded me during the weekend and sent a plumber to fix it on Monday immediately. The reconfiguration of the water main line introduced some sediment in the water line and one of the faucets got blocked. Again the plumber identified the issue correctly and solved the problem.
AquaSystem really has superior customer service. I highly recommend it!
