In March of this year
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
raised my internet charges from $ 49.95 to $ 80.50 per month. I couldn't believe it. Then every few weeks they would send me an offer of my old rate at $ 49.95. I have called
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
five times to go accept their offer at the old rate at $ 49.95 per month but they state this only applies to new customers. It states no where in the offer that this is for new customers only. When I ask to speak to the sales reps supervisor they just put me on hold until I finally hang up. This is clearly fraudulent misrepresentation and extremely poor customer service.

After we moved, we called to have our Direct TV moved to our new location. They offered us Wild Blue/

internet - high speed internet; since we did not have internet service yet, we opted in with them offering a discounted bundle package. FIrst of all, there was no way the price we paid every month was a discount. If people pay more than that for a non-discount package, they are getting even more ripped off.
After initial set-up by an independent contractor, an employee of Wild Blue/
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
came out to check the dish and connections. He asked if we had any concerns. I told him that it was very slow. He said he would send someone out to check it because it was hooked up incorrectly. He did send someone out...the same people who hooked it up to start with. They checked everything and fiddled around for a few minutes and left. No change in speed.
We called several times about the slow speed and how it would continually get slower and slower, almost daily. Once, they offered us a free month of service. That would have been a great fix, if we could have used it to begin with!!
We had a few storms and some bad weather, and service quit working altogether (also got out Direct TV dish). Called customer service to see if they could tell us something to do over the phone, or if they could check it on their end. The lady was very nice and told us that someone would have to come out to check it. (This was on a Saturday afternoon.) No problem with that....however, the SOONEST someone could come out was the following FRIDAY...yes, a week of no service! Called several days in a row to see if possibly someone could come sooner. (We know that people in our area who work for Wild Blue/

/Direct TV - in fact the people who set it up live only about five miles away.) Still could get no one any sooner. And, by the way, they CHARGE to fix their own equipment. They did not offer any credit for loss of service. I had to almost demand it. I told them that there was no way I was going to pay for a week of service that we could not use; at that point we were told we could get a credit.
When the guy came to fix the Direct TV, he looked at the internet too. He had both fixed within 15 minutes! And NO CHARGE! It was a

little adjustment of the dish since the storm moved it.
We disconnected service about a week later.

The technician arrived on time. Was courteous and seemed to know what he was doing. Installation took about 1 hour as indicated when the service was ordered. Most of the ‘installation’ time was spent bringing the service from a junction point in the neighborhood to the house.
The AT&T

internet service is a little slower then cable but much, much more reliable. The cable internet service kept dropping out.; high speed is not much good if the service breaks

The new and improved installation was great and the young man spent a lot of time with us making sure that things were up and running properly.

king at itThis was in a second home. I have a second home and called Com sat who came and put in cable (TV/Internet) The installation was done in the crawlspace underneath my home. I didn't think to watch the guy but I should have. It turns out that he drilled holes right through my air conditioning ducts and didn't know this until 6 months ago (1 ½ years after initial installation) when I had someone doing some repairs on something else and he brought it to my attention. The holes were there for over a year - I had noticed by electric bills going up through the roof as well as heating (propane) - since that summer. Anyway I have called
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
for the past 6 mod - an average 3-4 times a week to get someone to look at the damage so I can get it repaired. every time i call i get transferred from one idiot to the next, promising they will resolve it only to send me to another person where they insist on getting the details - over and over again so they can get me to the right person. every time i call I am told they need more information. I have demanded to speak to a supervisor - they are never to be found. I do not understand how this company stays in business. I have never seen such ineptness and sickeningly poor customer service. They know how to find you when they want your money but not when there is a problem.
- they have no intention of fixing it, or looking at it. It won't happen. I will get the damage fixed and I will be sure to post this story everywhere I can so that potential customers know what a shoddy outfit this is.
I do have a pic of the damage but it doesn't look like I can post it here

We had TV, internet and phone service from
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
. The TV service was VERY user unfriendly and the quality of the picture was sub-par especially compared to Direct TV. In addition, TV channels were regularly mal-functioning or unavailable. The internet service was poor, even the
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
internet technician admitted the modem was of poor quality and I had to buy an expensive router at Best Buy just to have wireless internet in my house that we could actually use. However, the phone service was okay. I am a Jayhawk so when we moved to the KC area, we subscribed to
Salem Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
due to the agreement they have with K.U. It was a big mistake. don't make the same mistake we made. I disconnected today and that was even a huge hassle.

I have had a "dropper" line {a physical ethernet cord} from the nearest box roughly 1000' long laying on the ground for over a year now {15 months currently}. It crosses two gravel roads and (very rural area) is parallel to a farm field. It gets run over by vehicles on the roadway and also when farm tractors enter or exit the field, I try to guard against the line getting wrapped up in the muddy tires and wrapped around the axle of the tractor(s). I can't be here at all times AND work too though. I keep asking to have the line buried but have been told it could take as much as four (4) years to bury it while I am on the waiting list. In the mean time, when there are issues, it can take up to a week or better to get a service call to troubleshoot it. *I must say that the service tech is very courteous and polite and keeps submitting a work order for the line to get buried.* The other problem is, while the service is out, there is no credit given to the lost/down time. I had it out nearly three weeks out of four this last episode, yet still had to pay full price. The service tech had it repaired (again) on the second call this time. I am paying $54 a month for this service of a advertised ISP speed of 1.5mb.
I still haven't resolved my issue from last year of being doubled billed and, when I notified them, was told not too worry about it {since I had moved recently} it would work itself out. Sure! I was sent to collections for a service I didn't recieve and at an address I wasn't living at. it also has caused my "bundled" bill to be kicked out of the program apparently, as I have stopped receiving the $5 "bundled" savings for the last year now.
At this time, they are the only service provider available to me, so...currently, I am stuck with them.

We have had

internet service for probably a dozen years now. Internet service is available 99% of the time. I have had to reset the router in my house a few times. Only twice in the dozen years that we have had

have we had to call for help. The techs on the phone were knowledgeable, professional, and spoke english. We do not have the full bundle, so we pay more than our neighbor for internet service.

Most of the year, service is just fine. During high summer, when the temps get over 100 degrees, I experience service interruptions. I called in to
