Daily Paws Pet Care, LLC was formed by a mother-daughter team owning years of experience with animals big and small. Based in Woodland, Washington, Daily Paws Pet Care, LLC services Clark and Cowlitz Counties of Southwest Washington (including the entire Vancouver, WA area) with routine dog walking and in-your-home pet sitting! The team at Daily Paws Pet Care, LLC has a true passion for animals and an understanding of the importance of the bond between a human and their beloved pets! Rachel balances her new motherhood with her employment with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington and her daily pet sitting with Daily Paws Pet Care, LLC. She is an active member of the Outlaws Equestrian Drill Team based out of the Clark County Saddle Club in Vancouver, Washington. She has been caring for the pets of others since 2002 and Rachel believes that all animals deserve to be treated in a humane and loving way and she is motivated by the knowledge that she is able to work towards that goal every day. Rachel owns a Basset Hound, Riley, that she adopted in 2008. When Riley came into the shelter as a stray, the sad hound dog had been wandering lost in the woods for an unknown length of time and was severely underweight. Rachel fell instantly in love with the sweet dog and took her home the day that her stray time ended at the shelter. In the time since, Rachel and her family have brought Riley back up to a healthy weight and only managed to fall more and more in love with the dog’s gentle nature and spunky personality. Rachel and her fiance plan to add to their family of critters in the near future. Tracey can’t remember a time when her home hasn’t included a myriad of furry friends of one variety or another. Currently, Tracey’s family includes her husband of 20 years, and four grown children, the last of which just graduated High School, and of course, her beloved dogs: a Lab/Border Collie mix named Sadie, and a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Maggie. Sadie spends her days loyally following her ‘mom’ around the house, ball in her mouth begging for play time. Sadie enjoys swimming in the family’s pond during the summer months and hanging out on the couch in the evenings with her ‘sister’ Maggie. When Maggie was hit by a truck in 2006, shattering her right front leg, Tracey cashed out her own life insurance policy to pay for Maggie’s veterinary bills. After over a year of recovery, Maggie has a fused ankle joint in the leg and walks and runs almost completely normally on their 10 acre plot of land. Tracey is happy knowing that her dogs enjoy life as every pet should! Rachel and Tracey both have extensive experience caring for animals large and small, companion animals to exotics, and everything in between. There are absolutely no breed restrictions and they're willing to work with mild to moderate behavior issues. Daily Paws Pet Care, LLC takes pride in their competitive pricing. Drop in care starts at just $20 per visit, dog walks & potty breaks are $10 and up, and overnight pet sitting options can be had for as little as $65 per night. Pet Care will be provided by either Rachel or Tracey. You will meet both of them at the initial meet and greet consultation and no outside person will ever be sent to care for your pets. No subcontractors are used at this time. As a result, pet sitting and dog walking are subject to the availability of either Rachel or Tracey, so early reservation is recommended for all clients needing specific dates of service.
