Roofing reviews in Newberg

Roofing was amazing! They showed up on time, completed the work,
cleaned everything up, and even fixed several weird roofing issues we
had making sure everything was vented and done according to current
code. Very professional and helpful. We would highly recommend them,
but won't be using them ourselves for 30 years because we know we have a
GREAT roof! Thanks!

After getting six estimates, we decided to go with
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
Specialists to replace our composition roof. We liked the reviews from Angie's List and our experience pretty much mirrored what the reviewers had to say. They were very professional. They gave us their recommendations on a few issues. I felt they supported their recommendations because they felt it would give us a better roof, not because they would make more from the job. The crew was very courteous and worked extremely hard. They communicated well, arrived when they said they would and completed the job within the time frame they estimated on. Clean up was great. I would recommend them without hesitation.

This the second time We have had Nephi out for work on our property. The first time was in the all to replace our shop roof. We found Nephi and his crew to be hard-working and skilled. One of the things we really appreciate is that they completed our job before moving to the next job. They also put in full days and showed up when they said they would. We recommend you consider them for your next roofing or gutter projects.

They got to work right away and figured out the problem quite quickly. Both men were very nice and courteous. They were within their rough financial estimate and finished the job on time. They took off some roof shingles and put some flashing on the roof to re-direct water that was seeping through a hole and down into the wall. They replaced a piece of wood that had rotted and patched up the dry wall. They replaced roof shingles. I also had Raoul fix some drywall in my office that had been damaged during the course of lighting installation.

The entire process went great! First I used Consumer? Reports as the primary basis for differentiating between manufacturers as well as the shingles offered by each of the manufacturers. Then I was concerned the manufacturer and shingles specified were readily available in our area and which had 3 or more certified installation companies in our area. From the start I decided that installation certification was a fundamental requirement. We wanted the shingles to be installed to standards specified by the manufacturer in order to maximize the life of the new roof. Secondly, in the event of a problem following installation, I wanted no issue with respect to the warranty as it related to the work performed by the installers. Thirdly, I wanted no "finger pointing" in the event of problems. That is, no concerns related to who was to stand behind the quality of the installed product.

was certified by CertainTeed to install their product. After having specified the roofing manufacturer I reviewed the state of

Contractor Board web site to determine that the potential installation companies were clean related to licensing, bonding and complaints.
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
had a clean record in respect to licensing, bonding and no complaints. From the remaining candidate installation companies, I went to Angies list to compare customer satisfaction rating between the companies. I also requested personal references from the final 3 candidates.

had an excellent record with Angies list I then evaluated the bids based on their written and personal responses... including certification, CCB reports, Angies List, other references, their pre-bid walk-through and suggestions, their ability to communicate verbally, the accuracy of their bids and pricing.

came out the winning bid based on a combination of the above as well as a willingness to work with other vendors. I might note that, while they didn't provide and install the gutters, they did act as the prime contractor and arrange that service in all respects. The job oversight was excellent with the the job supervisor making himself available as well as coming by the job site daily. The four person crew was great, and the lead person outstanding. The installation of the SolaTube roof dome flashings went without a hitch as did the gutter installations. The billing process was clean as was all the paperwork required by the State of

. The job cleanup was fine and the supervisor came by immediately following the job for a post job inspection. Frankly, I was tickled by the how well the entire process went. Does this mean that the owner can accomplish such work entirely hands off? Probably not, particularly if there are special requirements such as working with other vendors. Further, the owner (in my mind) also has the responsibility to identify their personal expectations prior to the start of the process. Preferably the owner will have these expectation written down and clearly reviewed with all bidders and, particularly the winning bidder. I would gladly work with this contractor again.

Here is the story:
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
came and had previously done several patches to our defective roof. He then came out after the hurricane and inspected the damage. He told us our options and got bids into us in a professional, thorough, quick manner. We then picked out the appropriate material, he ordered and had it delivered. His crew came out and started working at 8:00am. The entire roof and clean-up was finished by 3:30. The crew was respectful, efficient and pleasant to work with. A job well done.

Was able to start project earlier than quoted in August of 2006, which was great. Smashed plants around the house and allowed dumpster driver to drive over sidewalk, causing cracking, which was bad. But the roof looked great finished, and
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
had the sidewalk (professionally) repaired (about 40 ft replaced), within 2 weeks. The yard was in bad shape to begin with, but was a disaster after roofers were done. Not really their fault, but placing the dumpster in the yard was a bad idea. Afterword: March 2007. We were looking to take advantage of the warranty and 10 year service agreement, but

cannot be located. He has moved out of the house he was living in in August and left for parts unknown, leaving me without proper warranty paperwork for the manufacturer and a bogus 10 year annual service agreement.

Old management was good.

was the field supervisor. He left, and now the current management will not stand behind their prior work if they have a legal out.

We used Angie's List to find
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and my wife and I now highly recommend
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. The job was done at the quoted price and the product (the roof and gutters) turned out better than we expected. My wife loves the way the spanish green gutters look on the house and I like the 50 year, algicidal shingles (no moss for 30 years). Five of my neighbors (our houses are all about 22 years old) asked for

's number after the job was completed and I was glad to give it to them.

A few years earlier I had
Newberg Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
come out to replace some shingles that had come off in a wind storm. They were very thorough and professional in dealing with this issue so when I decided that I needed to have my roof redone, I called them up. I dealt with the same person I had 2 years earlier and we started the process.

inspected the entire roof to determine what needed to be done and whether any underlying plywood needed to be replaced. I had also told him of some trouble areas that I have had in the past (other roofers not able to fix the issue) and he assured me that it would be no problem.

also mentioned that it is usually a good idea to have skylights replaced during the same time, especially if they have age on them (mine was 28 years old). I asked him to bid this as well as a separate line item to determine if this would be affordable. He spent plenty of time going over the entire process that would take place and explaining in detail answers to my many questions. I never felt like it was "just about the job". A few days later he got back to me and explained the bid. He provided me with an approximate timeframe in which he would be able to do the job since he already had X-number jobs in the queue. I was in no hurry, and I wanted my roof to be done when it wasn't raining, so he said he would call me later with a time that would work for both of us. It was a job that would be 2-3 days in duration...shorter if he was able to get more then one crew. I got a call later on, and as luck would have it, he had multiple crews available. The best news was that he was able to get the entire roof done in one day, which exceeded my expectation. When the workers had left, I had a new roof (which turned out better then I had expected) and there was no debris left behind. The job supervisor came out the next day and walked the property and picked up any miscellaneous staples, nails, etc to ensure that the customer (me) was satisfied. We reviewed the job that was done to make sure the job was done to everyone's satisfaction. It took so long before we had rain again I didn't know if my problem area was fixed or not. Finally when we got some of our real downpours, I checked it out and not a drop of water was running down the side of the house. I'm extremely happy with the job they did and every aspect of the process.
