I went in for a more immediate issue with my AC, but ended doing a ton of other work after realizing how friendly, efficient, and professional the staff were. Best of all, they were reasonably priced. We just moved from DC. The Firestone Auto Repair in MD had quoted us over $2,000 for the tune up and timing belt replacement. So, I was very pleased to pay less than half of what we were quoted in DC for more.

I took the truck in on Saturday and tried to get a rotate and balance and was told they were full the rest of the day. I totally understood that. The sales person said I could come back tomorrow morning, first thing they could take care of me.
The next day I got there when they opened at 9. I let the sales person know I needed a rotate and balance and he then told me if I was prepared to wait for an extended period of time. I was then showed the monitor where he showed me the cars that were scheduled and he said "do you see those cars, they are all in front of you". (there were 3 of them) I then told him that I came when they opened based on the other sale persons direction. He then said "that person won't work here any longer." He then took my key, didn't say anything and pulled my truck into the garage. He did say "have a seat or anything." He just walked away.
No ticket was opened or anything and then after 25 minutes the truck the ready. The sales person never came back or anything to check me out. The technician came to me and asked if I drove the Nissan pickup truck. I said yes and he gave me the key and said thank you.
I have never been treated that rude before. That is my second bad experience there as it seems like they don't won't to honor the free lifetime balance and rotate when you by tires there. I won't go back.

On June 27, 2014 I went to the
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
store located
at 841 Lithia Pinecrest Rd,
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
, FL and had four new tires put on my Acura
TL invoice. When I picked up my vehicle the cashier/manager told me
that I needed to replace the lower control arm bushing and it is also noted on
my receipt. ...More /> Shortly after the tire installation, I took my vehicle to my regular garage for a
routine service and I asked them to check the control arm
bushings as noted by
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
's manager. It should be noted that this garage has a stellar reputation and professionally trained mechanics. They are a BBB and
Angie’s List “A” rated garage and I trust them without question for all my
service and repair work. That being stated they inspected the control arm
bushings and found no problems and verified there are in good working order.
I find this very disturbing that a company manager would
note a problem on my vehicle where none exists in a rather blatant attempt to
get me to pay for additional service. This does not include the attempt to get
me to pay for things like a battery terminal cleaning or fuel system service
which I am sure amounts to dumping a can of injector cleaner in the gas tank.
It is these types of subtle deceptive practices that get a low rating and
I pity anyone who lacks the basic automotive knowledge to be
taken advantage of in this way by these same practices.

I went in at about 3 in the afternoon and just beat the rush. We discussed what I wanted and then walked to my car to make sure of the size I needed. He took my keys and drove it into the shop and I went in to the cool and comfortable lobby. Facilities, which I did not need, were available. I sat down and started reading the latest 'Car and Driver' magazine.
About 30 minutes into the magazine my name was called.
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
was at the entrance with my car. He gave me my keys and explained that he couldn't reset the computer for tire pressure because he didn't have the key fob. Not knowing what a key fob was I pulled out my other set on the keyless entry. He took that and activated the computer, then went around to all of the wheels and reset the pressure sensors, shook my hand and wished me a good day.
I was amazed at how good the car rode and handled. It was truly better than new to the feel. The tire choice was excellent and I am pleased.

on Rancho. I did let the guy now that I wasnt in a hurry. He called me to tell me the engine barrings were shot. About 6,000.00 to put a engine in. Car is a 97 with 185000 miles. Being retired I don't drive it that much. Stor and back. Maybe around town. So $6000.00 wasn't going to happen. So some time later they told me that maybe a Catalytic converter. He said that he would try to save me money but had to get it from L.A. A used one for $700.00 I thought that was a bit strange having to get it from LA. The bad thing about all of this is one week, two weeks went by wi9thout hearing from them. Any way that car stayed ther for 6 weeks without anything not being done and I always had to call them for a update. Sorry for the long story but

After about 2 hours, they said the work was done, and that the tires were getting close to needing replacement. They didn't charge me anything. The next day, I had a low tire pressure indication at the same tire location as before. We stopped by, and they put air in the tire, and said to come back if the tire didn't hold air. A few days later, we got the low pressure indication again and took it in again. They said there was a screw in the tire and repaired it. When I got home, I inspected the tires more closely, and discovered they had never rotated the tires as I had requested (there's an obvious difference in the tread depth). That meant they probably also never repaired the tire with the screw in it the first time. There may have been a misunderstanding between two parts of the shop, but I wasn't impressed with their interaction with me in the front office, so I don't feel like taking a
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
on dealing with them further.

I contacted
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
, the owner, by way of email.
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
promptly responded and provided a quote for the tires that I selected. The quote was very reasonable. I agreed with the quote and scheduled a date for installation.
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
arrived at the scheduled time and conducted an inspection of the tires that were currently on my vehicle. After visually inspecting my tires,
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
advised that I did not need new tires. I was more concerned that my tires were old rather than lacking tread.
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
assured me that there was no evidence that the need for new tires was eminent.
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
checked the pressure in the tires and added air where needed. It was a refreshing experience and I will call

Before they performed the service I handed them a 22mm 6-pt socket to use to remove the lug nuts with. I informed them it was a tight fit that would require a slight tap to get on. I told them a 7/8" socket fits nicely but WILL NOT WORK! They agreed to my conditions and proceeded to mount the 4 new tires on my car. Over 4 hours later the manager approaches me with a problem. He says they can't get the lug nuts broke loose because they are all rounded off. I go back to inspect the situation and they have 7/8" socket installed on the impact wrench after I told them they could not do that! Then I noticed damage to the wheels. They had tried to use a chisel and a hammer to break the lugs loose and they missed the chisel several times with the hammer and hit my wheels instead! I was furious! They destroyed all of my lug nuts and they damaged all of my wheels. These wheels were near mint condition factory original FORGED Aluminum Racing wheels that cost over $2,800.00 to replace. They refused to accept responsibility. They claimed the wheels were mutilated before I ever brought the car in for service. Never mind the fact that the rest of the car was in perfect condition but now the wheels look like they came off some other car!

Do not have you air-conditioning system worked on by Fisher
Tire. On 6/19/2014 I took my car in because the air-conditioner was
not cooling. Leaving it at night, to be worked on the next day. They checked for leaks and recharged the
a/c. With tax it cost $131.05, ten days
latter it stopped working. I took it in
again one night to be rechecked the next day, upon picking it up I talked with
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
(dept mgr) he said they checked for leaks again and recharged again.
I said if they did that the first time and it did not work, why it would
work this time. He said bring it back in
4 days. ???? Which I did not do, ten
days later the a/c was not working. This
time, a friend recommended C & D tire. I told them what
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
had done,
left it with them and when I picked it up they had tested the a/c replaced
seals and recharged the unit, costing me $75.
It has now been 17 days and the air-conditioner it working fine.

I had lost a tire, late the night before, while driving from Florida to Texas along I-10, east of Pensacola. I changed the tire, putting on my full-size spare, and drove to a hotel in Pensacola. The next morning, I found Fisher Tires on yelp, and because of their consistently good reviews I chose to try them.

Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
, at the customer service desk, was professional, helpful, friendly, and entertaining. He found a set of replacement rear tires for my car at a nearby warehouse, and arranged for their immediate shipment to his facility. He gave me a cost estimate of $295 for mounting the new tires on two good rims, deburring the scratched rim, and mounting the full size spare on the scratched rim (plus balancing, etc). He gave me a time estimate of 1pm.

Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
also helped me find a rental car, so I could get some breakfast and run some errands while they worked on my car. He called the local Enterprise, got me a good rate, and arranged for them to pick me up at Fisher Tires.

While I was out, a technician determined that one of the lug nuts on my spare rim had been cross-threaded (by me, in the dark the night before, no doubt). At first, they thought they would have to replace the lug, but a technician was able to turn and polish the existing lug back into proper thread, so all theyt had to replace was the lug nut. I was charged for the nut, but not for any of the labor involved with the lug.

Total price came out just over $300, due to the extra $8 for the lug nut (which they had to express order), and the work was done by 12:30pm, a half hour ahead of schedule.

While I waited in the office, after running errands, I observed
Myrtle Creek Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
interacting with other customers. He was pleasant and helpful to everybody who came in.

I give this shop my strongest recommendation.
