"Very responsive and professional. Great price and guaranteed his work for 1 year (part and labor)! Highly recommended.

-Michelle L.

"The washer stopped working late the previous Tuesday. We used Angie's online message service to request immediate service from five firms.
" called us at 8:20 AM Wednesday to offer service that morning, so we accepted. (The quick response might have been luck; they said they had people working in the area that day) They arrived at 11 AM, after calling to tell us service people were on the way. Within the next 20 minutes they found the problem and ordered a replacement keypad, telling us it should arrive within a day or two. It did arrive Friday, but too late to be installed until Monday. (Unfortunate, they do not work on Saturdays) They arrived as promised Monday morning, installed the part and left when the partially loaded washer appeared to be working. However, when we loaded the washer and tried to run the full cycle, it would stop part way. We called
. The serviceman returned within a half hour and ran a diagnostic routine that solved the problem by resetting the machine's computer. Their charges certainly seemed fair, including $162 for the part that would have cost us about $180 (possibly plus tax) to buy from Whirlpool's website. They were in our home less than an hour, but their efficiency and expertise seems to justify the labor charge. We like this dishwasher a lot. It would have cost us $800 to replace it. Hopefully we can use it for another seven years for less than half the cost of a new machine.

If the ducts are venting through a window I'm assuming the duct work is all easily accessible.  Lowe's and Home Depot sell a cleaning kit that uses an electric drill to spin the brush as it goes through the ductwork.  I've found it to work quite well and you can do it yourself.  It may take a few passes the first time to get everything out if it has been a while since it was last cleaned.  Just make sure you get all of the loose lint out after running the brush through from both ends and you're good to go.  Please note that if the line is not hard but rather a flex duct line you can easily puncture a whole in it with this kit and will do better to clean it by hand.

As stated above, it can vary between companies.

Typically just an inspection implies you do not have a contract or agreement that may include discounts or free repairs.

With our company you would get the annual maintenace service that you should do every year, and if repairs are needed, they are extra, but you aviod paying a "service call charge" that would be related to most repairs, because you are paying for the "inspection" and we are already on site.

Inspections are often discounted in the slow seasons, and can usually be found advertised , at reduced prices , on Angie's List.

So consider Angie's List and find the best of the best in HVAC contractors!

Since you asked this question over a year ago, I'm pretty sure you've already made your decision but I'd like to offer you some advice.  You mentioned your husband vacuumed the coils and it worked for a couple more weeks.  Chances are the condenser coils were very dirty when he did this.  When refrigerator condenser coils are dirty, the compressor overheats and heat will cause a compressor to fail prematurely.  You should vacuum or blow out your condenser coils regularly.  Today's refrigerator compressors are not made to last like they were in the past.  I remember when it wasn't unusual for a compressor to last 30 years.  You won't see that happen with the way refrigerator compressors are made today.  Regular cleaning of your condenser coils is crucial in preventing premature failure of your compressor.  For more tips, check out my article here on Angie's list titled "How To Avoid Appliance Repairs"

Appliance Repair reviews in Lebanon

a quote first. We called this business to help us with a dead washer. It filled up with water, then died. I called, spoke to the owner, and had a tech go to the address (a rental) he addressed the problem pretty quickly, appreciated that. However, I was told by the owner that the 75.00 service fee would be waived if there was an issue that could be resolved and addressed on the spot. The cost would be for labor and materials only. The tech went and fixed it without a quote on the phone first as I was told would occur. I was charged 157.00 for a

12.00 (approx) switch and half an hour of labor. We looked online, the cost is under 20 for the switch, yet I paid such a HUGE cost for this to be done. My biggest mistake is paying before I had an invoice, which both the tech AND owner said they would send me. After paying foolishly, I called five times, no kidding, and they still have not called me back!! I feel like a fool for even calling this biz! Advice to others? Call elsewhere, I am extremely dissapointed, and shocked at all the A reviews!!
Very unfortunate, as I would have had more business for these guys in the future, we have many rentals and consistent problems with appiances..wow.

We called
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
on Thursday afternoon and left a message on his answering machine. He called us back that evening. We scheduled an appointment for him to take a look at the machine on Friday afternoon. He told us it would be late afternoon. He called us around 3:00 on Friday and told us he would arrive in about an hour, which he did. He very quickly identified the problem which was a bad bearing. He said he could order the part and install it on Monday afternoon. He gave us a quote which we felt was very reasonable so we told him to order the part. We got a call from him Monday morning to let us know he would be arriving at around noon. He arrived at the time he said he would. He took the machine apart and showed me the part that had worn out and explained how the new part would completely fix all the problems we had been having. He installed the new parts, cleaned up the area where he had been working and then ran the machine through each cycle to show us that it was working properly. The bill came out to the exact amount he told us it would be. We have been using the machine every day since the repair and it works perfectly.

Answered first phone call on the first attempt and made an appointment for the very next day.
Arrived within the time window given and quickly resolved the issue.
Even called & texted later in the day to make sure all was still good after he left.
Very professional!

The technician himself was great, punctual, and professional. The work could not be performed that same day but we scheduled for another day and the service was done when they said it would be. The price was fair. The problem that I have is with how long it took for them to get me a receipt for my payment. You have to go through the office staff for the billing part of things and they are terrible with their punctuality and responsiveness. I paid cash on the first day to the tech for them coming out and then provided a card number the following week for the remaining balance. I did not receive a receipt for the cash payment via email as I was told, and it not only took them a week to charge my card, but two weeks later I still do not have an updated receipt for my landlord. They are either short staffed in the office or who ever runs their office needs to learn how to delegate.

came exactly when he said he would. The issue with my

dishwasher was not easy to diagnose, but he took the time to figure out what was going on. He then spent considerable time on the phone with

Service to determine which part was required. He ordered the part and returned the following week to install it. It turned out to be a fairly expensive part, but it is now working and I am very satisfied. During his second visit, I also had him take a look at our refrigerator, which was leaking water. He had to do a bit of work to get it away from the wall, but diagnosed and repaired the problem (replaced a water line hose) for $30 -- a really good deal!

than normal and he explained what it could be attributed to but that it is also in very good condition for being 8 years old. He advised us of our options and the cost of those options. He left the decision up to us and definitely did not try to "sell" us any type of unnecessary repair. He was very kind to answer all of the questions that we had. We will definitely call

I called and left a voicemail on Monday.
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
called me back within 10 minutes. The repairs weren't urgent, so I waited until the next available first-thing-in-the-morning appointment, which was Thursday.
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
called me 30 minutes prior to when he would arrive, and was available earlier than my appointment, but waited until I was available at 8 am. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was in my home less than 30 minutes.
For the dishwasher, he cleaned the filter, leveled it and tested the motor. All was well. When he looked at the washing machine, he knew immediately what was wrong, ordered the part and we made a return visit appointment. He was available Monday, but I was not available until Tuesday, and I was able to schedule it around my work hours.
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
called me Tuesday and was running ahead of schedule, so he asked if it was okay for him to come early. I was able to run home from work, he completed the repair, and I was back at work within 40 minutes. He replaced the part, tested the washing machine and was on his way.
Their pricing is reasonable and only charged for the repair and parts, not two visits.
I am impressed and will refer anyone I know who needs appliance repair to
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
's company. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient. Can't describe them any better.
Thank you!

My 17-year old Fridgidaire quit freezing food and was leaking water from the door. The refrigerator box was still cooling, so I thought it might be a thermostat problem. I called The
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
Monday morning after researching their reviews on line.
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
answered the phone right away. He was very helpful and we made an appointment for Tuesday between 9:00 am and 10:00 am.
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
called at 9:00 am to let me know he was on his way. He arrived within 15 minutes and was very pleasant and professional. Within 15 minutes he had the freezer back off and told me that the Freon was probably low, as evidenced by the small amount of frost on the freezer plate. The other possible problem was that the compressor was not working well, probably due to the low Freon level and may have been damaged from having to work harder than normal with low oil pressure. He gave me an estimate of $350 to $450 to recharge the Freon, but that would not cover the much higher cost of a compressor if that was also damaged. I decided that, at 17 years old, it did not make economic sense to repair this refrigerator.
Since there was a minimum 1 hour trip charge of $84, I asked
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
if he could turn the door around on my new washing machine so it would open the opposite direction. He was happy to do so, and completed that quickly. I paid with my credit card and he emailed the receipt immediately. I was very pleased with the work done and how easy it was to schedule and pay. I will be recommending The
Lebanon Appliance Repair Services Provider Name Locked
to my friends and family. Five Stars!
