"The technician and the doctor were both very responsive and listened to my concerns carefully. They provided options and helped with my choices of care for my dog." They are always responsive and follow up. They don't overcharge and don't recommend unnecessary procedures, which I appreciate.

"Our dog has been experiencing severe allergies for over a year. For this past year he has been under the care of a veterinarian that provided allergy
" and put him on three antihistamines. Nothing seemed to work for him.
was suggested by our groomer and when I called I got an appointment within a few days. Dr.
and her staff were extremely helpful and have put him on a totally grain-free feeding regimen to alleviate his symptoms. As this has been recent, I don't have a success to report other than he seems to love his new diet.

Hi

The first answer is pretty thorough but I would like to add a few points.

First.. the type of food you are feeding your dog may be the key.  If you are using a food that is grain, rice or corn based in the first three ingredients, please change to a food that is meat or chicken based.  Many dogs are allergic to grain, rice, wheat and corn and these things are used as primary ingredients in many well known, name brand dog foods.  Secondly, all treats that have these ingredients should be cut out.  It takes weeks to months before a food change can show results so you must be patient.  Jumping from one food to another will be counter-productive.

Some dogs are so allergic to flea or other insect bites that one or two bites can cause a severe reaction.  Once the itching/scratching cycle begins, it is hard to stop it.  Benadryl is good but I suggest liquid form.  You can get it inexpensively at one of the dollar stores.  The pills take time to break down in the digestive system so you get better and faster results with the liquid. One tsp= 5cc and most dogs of average size can tolerate that much and more if the dog is a larger breed.

Allergy testing is very expensive and most dogs will test positive to some things.  That does not mean that the itching is coming from those things as many things in the environment can trigger positive test results.  Breaking the cycle of itching is primary and that can be done with prednisone ( short term and last resort after benadryl and bathing), allergy shots( same deal, last resort after easier methods).   This spring and summer have been particularly hard, weather-wise.

Good luck!

After you search for the company, you should get the "no results" page. Scroll down just a little bit, and you'll see a button and a link that say "Add this provider." Click on that to add them to the List! Thanks for the great question.
?
I'm really sorry! It looks like we made some site changes I hadn't noticed before and it made things just a little more confusing (for me, too!). We'll have to look into this to make it easier.
In the meantime, here's what you do:
1) Look for the Submit a Report button. It's yellow and on the right-hand side of the page.
2) Search for the animal cancer care clinic you're looking for. The search box should be inside a yellow bar.
3) You should see a list of potential matches, but on top of those, there should be "add a provider to the List" text in blue, which is where you'll click to get to the add page.

Let me know if you have any trouble. Sorry, again, for this being so confusing.

Once the diagnosis was confirmed they gave me several options for treatment or non treatment. They were very professional and did not push expensive treatment plans. Basically stated that they would support me and dog with whatever decsision we made. We decided to opt for surgery based a a good prognosis.
They provided a low cost number and a high cost number.
Met with surgeon and scheduled a date and went over all the pros and cons, what-ifs and possible scenarios.
Day of surgery dropped off dog and required to pay the low cost number prior to surgery.
Was contacted by surgeon after ultra sound with results and recommendations of whether to proceed with surgery or not. It was a go.
Several hours later surgeon contacted me again to updat me that dog was out of surgery and how things went and look for the future.
Dog stayed overnight for monitoring.
Lakeshore called me in the morning and reported on how dog was doing and that I could pick her up anytime.
Went to pick up dog and met with technician to go through all discharge procedures and follow up treatment plans, medications, etc. They were very thorough and clear and answered all questions promptly.
Went to counter to check out and pay in full and they stated that they owed me a credit of several hundred dollars as costs came in below low cost estimate.
WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN!!!??
To say the least I was very pleased in the overall experience at Lakeshore.

Our 8 month old puppy ate something outside that we never figured out - possibly a poisonous mushroom or something the wildlife left behind in our yard. We rushed him to our vet when he started vomiting, and again when he became listless, stopped eating & continued to vomit and have diarrhea. She referred us to AA Vet Hospital. They were wonderful! The staff was attentive, professional & exceptionally caring. I expected the price tag to be outrageous for all the care & testing they provided, but some of the itemized care was even less than what our veterinarian charged (who is one of the most reasonably priced in our area!). The doctors were very upfront about costs & never recommended anything to simply drive up the expense. In fact, when I asked about additional testing, they said on 2 separate occasions that it was not really necessary due to the nature of his symptoms. So neither doctor tried to use my novice understanding as an opportunity to charge for unnecessary procedures. I could see that other patients were cared for in the same manner, and some were clearly regular visitors to the hospital, with very satisfied owners. I highly recommend this hospital.

He’s phenomenal. He's the friendliest and most caring vet I've ever went to. The prices are reasonable. Everything about him is right, and his office is convenient to me. They also called to follow up after the appointment.

I have been to several Vets for my two dogs. I most appreciate Dr.
Klamath Falls Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and his caring and professional approach to my dog family. He cares enough to always follow up with phone calls after the visit, and will recommend and discuss issues over the phone with you and is most helpful. He is smart and cares about my dogs. It's a calling for him not just "a Job" which makes a great difference in the level of care he and her staff give my dogs. With Dr.
Klamath Falls Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and his team, I know they are in excellent hands. I would recommend Dr.
Klamath Falls Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
to everyone.

They are local and assessable. If you feel you have an emergency, it is easy to get in. The staff are very kind and loving to our dog. Our dog feels comfortable enough to give them all kisses. The services we have had done have been fair and competitive in price.

They are an excellent vet. We have been going to this vet for about 10-15 years. Their pricing is reasonable. The vet and staff are caring and go above and beyond for us. They took great care of our cat when he was sick and made sure to keep a close eye on him throughout the day for me. They did not charge us for that either. They are very honest and will not recommend unnecessary treatments or medications. Their prime concern is to care for your animals. You can just walk in an do not need to make an appointment.

They are very good with animals. They might cost a bit more than other vets, but I feel that it is worth the service that they provide. I will continue using them in the future.
