"It went very very well. They are very thorough and I was happy with the service. My salesman called me two weeks after I bought it to see if there were any problems" or if there was anything he could do for me. He checked back with me again about six weeks after that to see if he could answer any questions, etc. Also, he has sent me a Christmas card the last two years. I would definitely go back there and buy another new truck.

Sounds like your biggest problem will be narrowing your list to a limited number of models, and deciding what brand names you are willing to consider to narrow the field.

You can search for websites blogging complaints for each model you are considering to see how they rate with users, and you can also go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at     www.nhtsa.gov     to see how many recalls there have been on a specific model and year.

Most dealers these days have websites with their listed prices for new and used cars that you can browse to get an idea of available listed prices.

I would also recommend that you check out the used car values (free) for models you might be interested in on    www.edmunds.com    and on Kelley Blue Book  -  www.kbb.com

Those 2 sources will give you a lot of negotiating power, because they list what the dealer pays the manufacturer on new cars, shows what people have been paying for each vehicle model and model year, and shows used valuations also. There are undoubtedly other such sources also - these are just the ones I have used and seem to be the best known.

When I was ready to buy a car I told the salesman I decided not to buy a Flex. He showed me the Explorer and everything about it. When we picked the car up, he was sure that my wife was there so she could see how everything worked. He set my Bluetooth Sirius Music. Filled the car with gas. we've been pleased with the service.

“13 days after buying a brand new truck I found oil in my garage. They changed the motor and they broke 6 things while changing the motor and it took them 23 days to fix the 6 things that they broke--the motor was defected”

This guy sold my grandson a car that was 16 years old and had lots wrong with it. He fast-talked my grandson when questions were asked. For example, what my grandson asked about the check engine light, he was told that it was on because it was winter time, and that it would go off when the weather warmed up (B.S.). When my grandson asked about the non-working air conditioner, he was told that it only needed a little Freon added (B.S.). Later, when my grandson tried to add Freon, he found that the compressor was bad, a $500+ repair. The whole car was a complete disaster. The rear window wiper was broken beyond repair. He told my grandson that this car was great in the snow because of the 4-wheel drive. It turned out that the car was just a gas-guzzler. In-town driving was a disaster on gas usage. Stay away from this guy. He is a con artist and he takes advantage of people who don't know anything about cars. He's full of double-talk and promises. He sure dumped on my grandson. Stay away from him, as he is a real fast-talker.

It's a very friendly company. It's all first name basis. I'm dickering for a new car now. I am hoping to have it by Christmas. They don't have a body shop, that's the only inconvenience. They do service their cars as far as oil change and things like that and any small repairs.

It was pretty close, it wasn't far to drive. we've been there a couple of times now as far as leased cars are concerned. The dealership is nice and friendly. It's my wife's choice, I stay out of it. She found the dealership quite friendly and comfortable and she was comfortable going there. She was confident that the salesperson was competent. So, she's been going there, this is our 2nd lease so about 6 years.
On the last lease, I would have tried to push the numbers down a bit. I think she had gained a confidence in the dealership and didn't try to push them down as much as I would have.
The service is quite fast and on time.

Buying from this dealership was a negative experience, primarily due to the Sales Manager being rude, abrasive, confrontational, and angry at me for asking to negotiate a price lower than the sticker price on this used car.
Yes, it was possible to leave without buying the car. I felt this was as good a deal as I was going to get in my area due to the

value of used Prius's at that time. Used Prius's that were three years old were selling at the same price as one and two year old cars with comparable features and mileage--some Prius's that were a year and two years old were selling at the same price as new ones. Not a best time to buy a hybrid when gas prices were high and looking like they might go to $4/

When I suggested a slightly lower price to the salesman during my negotiations, he offered hope and said he'd talk to his Manager. This is a tired old ploy and I am disappointed and disgusted that a salesman can't close a sale without playing this ridiculous game.
The Sales Manager came by in ten minutes, looking harassed and frustrated and angry, and whatever the problem was, he chose to take it out on me. He got in my face, used poorly-controlled anger, and was made at me for having the audacity to suggest it might be possible to drop the price a hundred dollars, or even fifty, off the sticker. At $19.5K there had to be room on a two-year-old car with 40,000 miles on it--at least that's what the Blue Book said.
He pulled out some printed sheet of figures and waved it in my face to justify why he had his hands tied and couldn't lower the price. He didn't let me hold or read the paper--I don't know what it was, maybe his alimony paperwork, It sure had him hopping mad. He talked angrily at me about how inappropriate it was that I attempted to negotiate, and stated the listed price was the only price, and the vehicle would only be sold at that price, he would not allow any negotiation for it.

, I bought the car and later discovered a lower front fog ight bezel/lens was broken. When I priced it I found it was close to $650; the glass itself cannot be purchased separate from the entire fog light housing. It added insult to injury.
On the salesman's side, he did apologize for his boss, and called me up a few weeks later to ensure I was satisfied. The only satisfaction I could have gotten was an honest price negotiation and a polite and professional experience. There's no going back there for me; that Sales Manager burned that bridge and I won't be visiting that company again, much less buying from them, even if the Manager has been fired or has left. I pass ten new and used car dealerships on the way to work every morning, and there are other companies and sales people who can take advantage of me without making me feel reduced and shamed and put upon.
