"I have been taking my car here since I purchased it about a year ago. They are very efficient. They get you in and out. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. The facility is clean.

"We bought an SUV that we knew needed some work (estimated $600) when we bought it. We were willing to put that much into it. In less than one week of owning the" vehicle, we found that it requires $2500 worth of repairs JUST TO BE SAFE ENOUGH TO DRIVE FROM THE MECHANIC TO HOME. We contacted the seller,
to inform them of these costs and our expectation for some kind of assistance. We were LITERALLY hung up on. Twice. We were told that the car issues were "not our problem" "your fault" and that "maybe we shouldn't have purchased the car". It is unheard of to hang up on a customer. It is insane that they were so unwilling to assist in less than one week and less than 200 total miles since owning the car. This place is a RACKET. DO NOT buy a car from "
" or "
" at
.

Buying a car

You must take certain steps when buying a car to protect yourself. Whether you buy a new or used car, there are common procedures which will help you avoid a lemon and maximize your investment.

You're ready to buy a new car. Should you purchase it from a dealership, or browse the classifieds for a private seller?

Avoiding dishonest car dealers can be just as hard as finding a car to buy. Here are three scams that are telltale signs of an unethical salesperson.

When you're buying a used car, you'll end up paying more than the sticker price. Automotive experts discuss some of the additional fees to expect.

Sounds like your biggest problem will be narrowing your list to a limited number of models, and deciding what brand names you are willing to consider to narrow the field.

You can search for websites blogging complaints for each model you are considering to see how they rate with users, and you can also go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at     www.nhtsa.gov     to see how many recalls there have been on a specific model and year.

Most dealers these days have websites with their listed prices for new and used cars that you can browse to get an idea of available listed prices.

I would also recommend that you check out the used car values (free) for models you might be interested in on    www.edmunds.com    and on Kelley Blue Book  -  www.kbb.com

Those 2 sources will give you a lot of negotiating power, because they list what the dealer pays the manufacturer on new cars, shows what people have been paying for each vehicle model and model year, and shows used valuations also. There are undoubtedly other such sources also - these are just the ones I have used and seem to be the best known.

Worst dealership I have ever used, and they didn't used to be. My family has trusted them for years and purchased 7 cars from them. Something has changed in the last two years, especially with service since

is no longer there. Yesterday my wife was in a minor accident that could have been far more serious if it wasn't for a snow bank and guard rail.

hasn't been bothering to keep us up to date on the status of the tires and they were bald. We take it in for oil changes regularly a day were relying on them to watch the tires, especially since we bought them from them. In addition, both my mother and sister have had issues with the service department. They used to care about their customers and really believed in the Chrysler 5-star dealer program and now they couldn't care less. I will NEVER return to them for anything.

Keep in mind I had this service done in 2013....Angie's list requested that I do this review.
That said, this mechanic

is great. His prices are very reasonable and his work is first rate.....at least the work he did for me was first rate.
Downside...the garage is somewhat out of the way, and he offers no shuttle van.

They are local and do a good job. Their price is competitive and their trade in is good. Everything goes pretty smooth. We are there for about 2 hours per transaction.

It went perfect. We had some trouble with our car after purchase but found out it was under warranty and that it had a recall on the throttle. We took the car in and they fixed it for free and even put air in the tires.

It was a wonderful experience. There was no haggle with the pricing. They have a website where I can identify the cars that they have. They gave me a car-fax report on the car, which was perfectly maintained. They were just so nice and there was no high pressure. They helped me with the financing too. They also gave me an extremely fair trade in and it is based on the blue book value of my car. It was such a pleasant experience. They also fully disclose the profit they are making on the car, which I also thought was fair. They only pull the top 3% of their rental fleet to resell.

we've never had any problems. The people on the phone were very knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. They have a large group of mechanics, so even when we just show up they can usually help right away. You can also get tires at a really good price from them also. Anything we needed (even at weird times when we couldn't get help anywhere else), we always got help with here. If you have children, they have a play area. We have a three year old grandchild, so this was really helpful while we waited.

They are the greatest auto mechanic around. He is personable and honest. He will check something out before he does anything. He gets right to work on your car. He will drop you off if you need him to. I use them all the time for my 4 cars.

* Before the truck was even seen by the mechanic, someone came out and told him it could be this, could be that and the vehicle had never made it into the shop *Wait time even though long even after we had an appointment for a couple weeks * it took 3 people trying to figure out how or how much to charge to get the bill ready; nobody seemed to know what they were doing or cared....work on the bill a few minutes then all 3 would walk outside to talk, look whatever... This was our first and last visit to this shop. This also puts a damper to stop to buy here too if we cannot have a vehicle serviced I
