Hillsboro General Contractors Reviews

"Everything went as planned including the ordering of material. The job was left clean after each day of work. The cutting, mitering and fitting was done to precision. Price came in under the estimate. Excellent workmanship."
"The job went very well.

is a very capable framer/capenter so he was able to do things like swap doors, replace door jams that were above what a typical

would do. He also did extra work without charge when he found someother minor things that were needed such as some board replacement on the decks. He is very prompt, works a long day and is very efficent. The job was cleaned up each day and the workers were very nice. I felt very comfortable having them at my house when I was not there. He also built the house originally (17 years ago) and was extremely capable of very difficult jobs and was the first one I thought of when I had the siding job to do."
"We had just purchased this house and the previous owner had a new deck installed a couple of months prior. We needed a new lower deck to hold our existing hot tub. Everything had to be coordinated so that the previous owner was able to move out without any interference from the deck being built. We had a deadline of having the deck built because we had a deadline of being out of our old house.

gave us a time line of when he would start and when he would be finished. Everything went as planned. The deck was built the first week in November and the weather was not very cooperative. That did not keep

from finishing the project. If I had had time I was going to build the deck myself. Once the deck was finished I am glad I had it hired out. It came out looking perfect, even down to routering the edges to give it that finished look.
"Environmental oriented and good help making a decision on which wood to use, they are very knowledgeable. The trouble was with the customer care both in installation and lack of paperwork, the person they sent out to install the counter. They postponed the installation twice even though it had been scheduled over a month in advance. It took 3 trips for him to get the counter installed and cut correctly (trip 1 and a half, he found another contractor in the neighborhood and used his saw to get the measurements right), fully caulked (trip two), and then straightened (trip three). They kept on sending the same person who was under-performing out each time. When it came to settling the bill, they hadn't provided any paperwork to us on deposits (we should have insisted) and it took several calls back and forth to figure out what was actually owed. A lot of work for one bar counter top."
"We called

Boechler. He gave us a bid, and then built and installed the beautiful cherrywood cabinets that now glow in our kitchen. His workmanship is that of an artist. He took care of every little detail. At the tile company he patiently helped me coordinate the backsplash tile to go with the cabinets. He gave us lots of options; wood, hardware and design. We now have great lazy susans in both the upper and lower cabinets. At the midway point we took a vacation for a couple of weeks and

continued on while we were gone. When we got back the cabinets were in place and we were delighted!
The clean, handle free lines make the cabinets look like framed pieces of art.and glow like they are rubbed with honey.
We will hire

again in a heartbeat when we are ready for more cabinetwork.
