Very meticulous in estimate, prep, painting, everything. Everyone was professional and pleasant to deal with. They obviously took pride in their work and did not skip over even the smallest details.

They did great work and repaired anything that wasn't right, like external outlet and eve separation. They worked steady and finished the job in two days.

Seven large windows, base boards, moldings for 4 doors, and clear coat on 7 doors.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
is very thoughtful and cares a lot about his craft. He is honest and takes responsibility for the work he does and for our home. He is a good communicator on scheduling. We understood how his scheduling would work up front (if it was raining- we would see him- if not, he had an outdoor commitment) so there were no surprises. He or his crew were always on time. We had the opportunity to compare his work to another companies work and to or own attempts. What a difference! His contract was thorough and detailed. It was a relief after the confusion we had with another company. We are having him come back and paint the exterior this summer.

The workers showed up on time, were cheerful, professional and worked very hard.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and his crew went above and beyond. I could tell they enjoyed their job and working with each other. I have zero negative comments. I would recommend them without reservation. I don't have enough words to adequately describe how wonderful they were. My house looks great!

Owner,
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
, came out with a guy he was training to do estimates.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
did most of the talking.
Cost was higher than other bidders but we felt more comfortable with
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
's professionalism. Their crews are out of Albany I think but are in
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
often.
Crew chief was very thorough in talking with us about the job and promised that he would make us happy. (They'd better for the price!) Some of the work needed touchup but no more than expected. We had a problem with the doors -- the paint they specked came off after a few days. They made good on that problem and a few other minor ones.
They promise to come back and do touchup later if needed, but we haven't called them to do that.

A great company! From the estimate to the completion of the job, they were professional, punctual and very detail oriented.. The
crew arrived right on time with paint colors I had already picked. After testing the paint colors, I decided to change my mind at least
four times. They were so patient with me and made many trips to
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
with sample paint cans to try out. After finally
deciding on the right colors, they got right to work. Two men worked nonstop and finished the job in two days. Their lead painter,
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
, was a delight to work with. He stopped by frequently to check on the crew's progress & to make sure I was happy with
everything. The crew was great; so polite and hardworking, only stopping for lunch. They did such a beautiful job & cleaned up
perfectly. I am so happy with how my house looks and I would highly recommend them.

This was a very disappointing service. Because of the extent of the work being done and having 3 young children, we opted to be away while it was done, so I cannot speak to some of what went on while I was gone. What I *can" tell you is the paint began to peel off the walls within a week. They were very responsive and redid the work promptly, but not without significant inconvenience to our family, a litany of excuses and absolutely no apologies. They claimed that the paint didn't stick because the color I selected was not the brand they typically use! I did not specify what paint brand they had to use -- they never asked! I just had a color chip I loved!
We have had the paint now for 18 mos and it is beginning to peel in high use areas on the cabinetry as well. I will not have them back in our home; I will live with it for another year and have it redone.
When I first met with them for the estimate, I was impressed with their confidence. As we went through the process, I found their confidence to be unfounded and just obnoxious cockiness. Steer clear of this company.

Unfortunately
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
got the no-show flu. After I called to confirm the day before, and making arrangements for my dog to be away all day,
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
didn't show or call. His charge included a $30 'gas fee' and $40 shopping fee. It's always possible something serious occurred, but I didn't hear from him even several days later with an explanation. I was two hours late for work from waiting on him. I wonder if this
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
actually has a minimum charge but doesn't tell you? My bid was just under $600.

Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
came to do the estimate in June. He had already told me that they were booked through the summer, but he expected to be able to add me to the end of the season's schedule starting in either September or October. He explained that they are able to do exterior work until November despite rain by using their tarping system with the additional use of fans for drying.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
's estimating process is unusually methodical, in the course of which I became increasingly confident that he would give me the quality job I wanted.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
has a talent for color selection. I had selected my colors but after talking about my reasoning, I ended up going with a slightly different color that
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
thought would best achieve the look I wanted, and it was perfect! Ultimately the work began on October 28, and took just over 3 weeks to completion. During that period there was rain, so there was a lot of tarping necessary.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
were the workers on the job, with
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
checking in.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
were both very personable and professional, always letting me know the plan as it went along, and concerned about accommodating my needs, especially when the house was fully tarped. They were careful about my plantings and keeping the property clean. Throughout the process it was clear that
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
demands excellence from his crew. A number of unforeseen issues arose during the process, including dealing with underlying lead-based paint, some window repairs, etc., factors which resulted in additional work and costs above the original $6,690 estimate.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
also detected an existing problem with my roof, which slowed the painting process somewhat by putting it on hold a couple of days (I dealt with the roof repair after the paint job was completed).
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
's prices are on the high side, but I knew that going in. My priorities were a quality job with very thorough prep work and careful attention to detail in the painting, which is not always the case, and I was willing to pay more to get that. I got what I paid for and couldn't be happier with the result.

Pluses - professional, friendly, personable, thorough, detailed, beautiful job. (see the before and after pics - they speak for themselves)
minuses - poor communication about start date. took longer than expected (mostly due to weather). More than I wanted to spend but I do expect the job to last 20+ years.
Book them way before you want the work done,
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and the team are a small crew in high demand. They are scheduled several months out.
From the beginning I was very impressed with
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
because he took the time to thoroughly create and explain the bid to me. (He spent maybe 2.5 hours just really looking it over and making copious notes).
Everyone on the team was very friendly and professional. They answered any questions I had and responded to all my requests. they never made me feel embarrassed to ask questions and I finally know the difference between a soffet, fascia board and a gable.
Each step of the process was done thoroughly which meant that the prep work took a lot of time. There was appropriate care to dry time before moving onto next steps despite that pushing the timeline out longer. When I asked they took down some old landline phone wires that had not been in use for 4 years (and obviously not really in the scope of their work. There was no over spray or drips with the exception of some drops on my deck stairs. I didn't mention it because i will be sanding and staining the deck later anyway.
The project started later than anticipated, but within the window of possible start times on the bid. One critique is that I had to contact
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
to find out the start date (two calls a few weeks apart). I would have appreciated a call a month out or so letting me know when to expect them in advance so I could tie back plants etc. I have a neighbor who is particular and I wanted her to have notice of when the project would start also. They ended up calling to come out the same day and I had to put them off a day to do the prep work. I would have liked to have gotten everything out of their way but didn't have enough time so they worked around kayaks and hoses on the ground.
I work from home and I didn't have any problems with the crew being disruptive in any way. They talked and listened to music within the expectations I set. They did listen to music pretty loud once the day was underway (10 - 11 am) but I know they would have turned it down if I asked. Got to experience some joyful sing alongs that I didn't want to put a damper on. I do better work when I'm happy and enjoying myself so... At one point I did text
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and remind him that my neighbor slept late (as they started to move toward her side of the house) and they stopped listening to music all together until 10 am.
The project got stalled when some intense rain and wind hit in September. The crew had affixed tarps on three sides secured with posts and sandbags so they could continue to work despite the rain. This grated on me after they had been up for a while. It reduced the light coming into my home (and I work from home so was here all the time) and with the wind there was a terrible racket as the tarps flapped around. One tarp tore loose and was blowing like crazy. I texted
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
and he came over the same day and secured it. Just navigating around the tarp system was kind of annoying for me and my elderly dog (who started using the driveway instead of the yard for his business. He didn't bother working too hard to find a way around the tarps (his vision isn't great). I wasn't on top of cleaning up his messes because I didn't realize it at first. He ruined some of their drop cloths when his unexpected piles would get walked through.
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
never mentioned this or charged me for the materials. I only learned of it when I was out cleaning up and talking with one of the staff, and he did assure me it was not a big deal (though I'm sure drop cloths aren't cheap.
If They are working on your place in the rainy months be forewarned that tarps may be up for a week or more (with the storms I think they were up on my place for 2 weeks.) It really irritated me but that was in part due to the wind that made the tarps very noisy. If you don't want to deal with it book him in the summer months.
The quality work of
Eugene Exterior Painters Provider Name Locked
speaks for itself. I had several neighbors ask for his contact information and compliment me on the nice job.
