Great! Came in under estimate. Movers were helpful, friendly and prompt. It was raining the majority of the move and it didn't slow them down at all. Very nice experience.

Our experience was mixed to say the least. I'll give you the pros and cons and let you decide whether you will use them or not. Pros: We had a complicated sale and were supposed to rent back from the purchasers for 1 month. Less than a week before closing they informed us they were no longer willing to honor the rent back agreement. In a panic I called Johnsons.
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
was very professional, reassuring and extremely accommodating. He assured us he could have a crew available to move us on very short notice. They showed up on time and managed to get us loaded up. Another wrinkle. At the last minute there were complications with the settlements of both our sale and our purchase. We had to be out of 1 home and couldn't get into our new home for 2 more days. Johnsons off loaded all of our furniture etc.at their warehouse, then reloaded and delivered to several days later. They stepped up and handled the crisis on both ends of our move. Cons: The crew and moving vans that were sent were undersized for the move. They hustled, were professional and polite but they just weren't equipped to handle a house of that size. As a consequence furniture was not wrapped properly and was damaged. Boxes that were well marked as FRAGILE were placed under much heavier items and were damaged. Flat screen TV's weren't boxed, wrapped or handled properly. Because they sent 2 smaller trucks rather than the expected full size moving truck items were forced, pushed and squeezed in. Not the way you want to see your furniture handled. Because most of our stuff went into storage we didn't know the full extent of the damaged until 8 months later when it was delivered to us. I had an extremely uncomfortable phone conversation with

. He was angry, argumentative and I would have to say verbally abusive. From that point on, I dealt strictly by email with
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
. Via email we finally reached an agreement to have a specific number of upholstered items cleaned.
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
made the arrangements with the upholstery cleaning service and had them call me to schedule. When we set the date I confirmed the # of items and even emailed
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
to have her verify again the work to be performed with the co. one final time. The job was satisfactorily performed.

had also agreed to have some missing glass shelves replaced. Because they needed to match the existing shelves she asked me to have them made and then to send her the invoice. When I did I got no response. Several attempts finally yielded a response that they wouldn't be reimbursing me the agreed upon amount of $300. I have repeatedly tried to settle this with them and have gotten no further communication or response. They have left me no choice but to

in small claims court. I am confident that I will

as there is a clear, documented email agreement on their part to reimburse us for these damages. Johnsons handled some things well but overall it was a disaster. The refusal to reimburse us for what had already been agreed upon is inexcusable and highly unprofessional.

manner in dealing with me was highly unprofessional. I would not use them again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

were about an hour late arriving but they had called to say they were caught in bad traffic. As soon as they arrived they worked extremely hard without taking a break for almost 4 hours until the entire16' POD was loaded! This was our 13th move and I would say they were the best we have seen.

was excellent to deal with in the office to arrange the loading. I would use them again, in fact they would be my only call. Excellent!

Initially I loved this company, but then when we ran into problems, their lack of integrity showed their true colors. I've repeatedly used a different professional moving company in the past for myself and clients, but when my move date changed in May, the other company was unable to change the date with only a couple weeks' notice. 2Brothers Moving was able to get me scheduled. The initial phone call was a little odd, as I had to list room by room with the call taker what items were in the room to be moved rather than stating from experience what size truck and crew I thought I would need. I guess that is understandable and avoids frustration on moving day when the wrong size truck or crew arrives due to the inexperience of the client. Both moving crews were great- professional, personable guys that I trusted in my home and around my stuff. They were clean hard workers. They moved me from a house I sold to a storage unit, as the next house was delayed by a couple weeks. The second crew was comprised of parts of the first crew and moved me from the storage unit to the next house. I noticed as they loaded items up in the truck, they really stack things in order to utilize all the space. A leather arm chair was strapped in on top of other things without a blanket or anything, and I hoped the nylon cord cinching it down wasn't going to leave a

. Turns out it didn't, but it was telling of the way things were handled.
As the crew had moved me from the first house, they came to me twice to point out small pre-existing damage on a couple pieces of furniture, to include a 1" scratch on a wooden armoire- they were very aware of damage and documenting it. They moved a stainless steel refrigerator for me that was nine months new and hadn't been moved before. The fridge had no pre-existing damage. When I moved into the second home, there was a small

(about 3/4") on the lower front panel, and distinct indentations on the side at the bottom, the size and shape of moving straps. The damage on the side doesn't effect the performance of the fridge and is concealed by the cabinets, so I'm not concerned about it. However, the

on the front of the fridge is an eye sore. There was also a new gouge/scratch on top of a wooden credenza type table. I submitted photographs of both areas of damage to the company. When I spoke with
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
on the phone about this, she said she would look into what could be done, and we ended our phone call. She called back within a minute to ask if I'd purchased additional insurance, which was telling to me of the company's mind set. There is a purpose for extra insurance, and it isn't so that the customer shoulders the cost of the employee's mistake. I never heard in person from 2Brothers moving again. I got a phone call a couple weeks later from a furniture repair shop who had been contacted by the moving company to address the issue with the credenza. Great! I expected a similar call related to the fridge, but it never came. When the furniture repair man came out, he colored in the scratch in the same way anyone can do with a stain pen from
Coos Bay Movers Provider Name Locked
Paint or a similar source. As he pointed out, there is nothing that can be done to fill in the gouge, and the damage will always be there. In this case on the very top where it is most easily spotted. The moving company sent with the furniture repair man a form for me to sign stating that everything had been restored to how it once was and that I was releasing the company from further claim. It certainly wasn't restored to how it was, and I felt it was inappropriate to put the chore of having this release signed onto a third party. I told him I didn't want to sign it, and he told me he totally understood. He also encouraged me to push 2Brothers moving company to do the right thing about the fridge.
I never heard from 2Brothers moving again. I would have a bit more respect for them if they contacted me to deny or challenge my claim for some reason, but instead they simply went dark. You can tell a lot about the character of a person or business by how they treat you when things aren't going well, and 2Brothers has shown that they don't have the integrity to take care of their own mistakes. I've moved several times in the past without issues, I'm an easy going person, and I don't nitpick situations, but I do expect the right thing to be done. I'm a single lady who doesn't have a lot of skill standing up to big companies and I feel taken advantage of by 2Brothers, as they leave their damage for me to live with and/or pay for.
