Great. It started with the fast communication. I sent an e-mail about what I wanted done and gave them some dates and times that would work for me. They were very quick to respond and we set up the appointment. They gave me a half hour window and I think that he showed up exactly at the start of the time window if not it was only about 5 minutes into the half hour window which was great. He came in and took a look at the recliner and knew exactly what he needed to do. He told me that he would have to take it back to his shop and that it would be about two weeks to complete it and return it. He said that he had a minimum for work he was taking back to the shop and although there was work to be done by taking off the springs and adjusting everything, it would only cost me the minimum. I reminded him that I was an Angie's Member and he took 10% off the minimum price. I do not think that there was a charge for the estimate if I would not had him do the work but it did not matter because it was well within the amount that I was willing to pay to have it fixed. I called a day or two after the two weeks and left a message after hours . He called back the next morning and let me know that he was planning on finishing it that day and he could deliver it the day or two after that. I called back and set the appointment. He arrived today exactly on time. He put the recliner back in its spot and had me try it out. It seems to be working perfectly. The charge was exactly what he told me it was going to be and I wrote him a check and he was out the door. Very professional. Honest and did the job that he was asked to do at the price that he quoted in the time frame that he had given, Exactly what I needed. Hopefully, I will not need any other furniture repair but if I do he will be the one that I call.
The only negative on my side was that he does not accept credit cards but I completely understand. A small business has to keep their expenses low and he does not have to raise his price to cover the fees.

We had several pieces of antique furniture damaged in a recent move. Most of the pieces were at least 75 years old and built by
craftsmen in our families. Capital Restorations did an excellent job repairing the damage such that it is no longer detectable. The pieces they refinished were done by bringing back the natural wood rather than staining. All of the pieces look great!
Capital Restorations did their excellent work for a reasonable price, kept us updated during the process, and met all of their
promised deliveries. We are delighted!!

They were AWESOME!! I cannot say enough about how fantastic my kitchen table looks. I actually think it looks better than it did originally! They kept me informed as to how the repair was progressing and also let me know when I could expect my table returned. I will use them everytime I need something like this fixed and I will recommed them to anyone I know looking for this kind of work! This is one happy girl!!

was excellent. She is friendly, knowledgeable and talented when it comes to decorating and the actual implementation of deign. Although what she did for me was tile work, I have seen numerous of her reupholstery and sewing projects, and they are all of excellent quality, like the work she did for me. After taking measurements,

did the "dirty" work of cutting the tiles at another location so that I wouldn't have to deal with the mess at my home. She then brought the cut tiles, installed them and made everything look great. Overall, I was thrilled with the work that

did and am talking to her about numerous other projects.

If you like only the pretensions of Italian craftsmanship and not the actual expertise then this is your company.
I
had a Japanese wooden art piece that was damaged by the the

so badly I had to send it to an art restorer and pay an additional $550
to have it brought back to the original condition. ...More /> I returned
to

to get reimbursed for my expenses and they both first denied
doing the work. The son threw a tantrum when confronted with photo
proof that he had done the work and also the damage.
They
refused to reimburse me for what it cost me to fix their damage ( the
father just stood by and just shook his head seemingly losing the use of
English - nice touch - then walked off to the back of the store when I
showed them my receipt) . I am going to

did a great job, he was very courteous, and responsive. In addition to the staining, he entirely replaced the back of the buffet. Services took a little long, he said it would be about 5 weeks but it took a couple of weeks longer than that.
Price was very reasonable and the overall quality of the work was good.

The job was beautifully done. and returned to me within three weeks. His estimate for the overall job was $350-$450 less the $200 credit (for which I had paid $99). My total cost, including the Angie's list special fee of $99 was $265. He was professional, fast, and did wonderful work. The wood was pine and hard to match the grain and the color, but you cannot see any difference between his work and the original finish. He reassembled the hutch and placed it back in its original location

Company picked up table which had water damage and was warped in one spot, and had scratches in finish. Finished table is as good as new. Beautiful job. The big deal coupons were honored without any issue which helped with the cost of refinishing the table. Staff was professional, responsive and friendly. Thank you

They called me on 9/10 the day after I placed my request. We made an appointment for 9/11/14. The reparman arrived on time. He was very personable. He looked at the problem, gave me a fair estimate, and then did an excellent job of repairing my sofa.
