"We took "The P***" to this clinic for about 2 years for her shots and quarterly nail trims. She was an old cat (19 years) and Dr.

and
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
were very careful with her. They are soft-spoken, soothing people, who always listened to what you said. You never felt rushed and never felt like they were pushing unnecessary treatments or products. The clinic is small, friendly, and very professional. We're sorry to say that "The P***" passed away yesterday.

"This vet clinic has been CLOSED for about 1 year now and Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
has moved to Aloha Dog & Cat.

Based on our experience with
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
& Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, we would never let her see an animal of ours ever again.

She wanted to put our puppy on steroids (without doing any of the stuff a vet is supposed to do before recommending steroids) for what turned out to be a food intolerance.

She vaccinated our puppy while she was sick which is never supposed to be done, it says not to vaccinate a sick animal right on the vaccine label.

She was always too busy to answer questions DURING our appointments with her.
She typically was only in the room with us for 5 minutes at the most.

After our dog got her spay staples out, she started bringing up food after every meal.
We called to see if we needed to bring her in and got told the vet was too busy to see her or to even talk to us. We were promised a call back before the vet went home. That was Friday. We called every hour they were open on Saturday. Monday nobody was even answering phones.
We switched vet clinics on Monday and they were able to fix all the problems our puppy had been having for the past 3.5 months.

"I have taken multiple pets there; they are nice and the office is clean and modern. The office staff is also nice; it is a large practice and I have had different experiences there with a number of vets but I like Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, although there are a lot of other vets there. I like his bedside manner and the way he is with the animals. He is very good about being honest but not being an alarmist. He might treat a little more aggressively with regard to testing but he gives good advice. I have been going there for a long time and they are very good about following up on issues after a result of an appointment."

"Took in one of my cats, after she had been mauled by my foster dogs. I called to let them know I was on the way, and there was no waiting when I arrived. They took her in back and got her started on pain meds. They were efficient and professional. The cat was started on IV fluids and sedation medicine in addition to the pain meds. I arrived around 8:30pm, and did not have to wait very long before the vet who examined her came out to consult with me. I was given a preliminary description of her injuries and a suggestion course of action to get her through the night. During the night they did x-rays and performed additional tests. I left her overnight and returned in the morning to pick her up and take her to my normal vet.

The staff at the emergency clinic called ahead to my regular vet's office and also faxed over complete records of what they had done for my cat, including x-rays and test results. When I arrived with her at my regular vet's office, they were prepared for her and had reviewed the information. It was a traumatic time for me, and the staff and doctors (I saw a different vet in the morning when I picked her up) were very caring and supportive.

"I have always found the staff to be kind and caring towards both my children and our pet, however the primary Veterinarian seems more intent on doing unnecessary tests, labs, and exams on our pet. Costing us in the last 9 months far more then it should have. She is extremely pushy regarding extra testing. I was extremely disappointed in my final visit which was intended to get my dog a final vaccination for the year. -A vaccination she refused to offer in October because she does not like to give "too many at once".- Earlier this week I needed my pets records for my own home records and picked them up. The woman at the front desk reminded me that my pet required one more vaccination. I set up an appointment for the next day for ONE shot. When I arrived with my children in tow, I was informed that to receive this final vaccination that I had been refused earlier this year I also would need an exam. ($55.00) more dollars. During this "exam" our second one in a year for an extremely healthy dog I was being asked repeatedly to do extra vaccinations, extra blood work, to send in "samples" for home to do more lab work. When I refused I was treated like I was a "bad owner". Dog ownership is an important part of our family. Our DOG is an important part of our family. However he is healthy, does not require excessive poking and prodding from a push veterinarian clinic, and myself and my children do NOT need to be treated as if we are an unloving family. I was disappointed to feel so used my a health professional whose intent seemed less concerned about my PET and more about how much $$ she could make from my PET. I will begin a new

for a professional who values a WHOLE family.

"I probably came in with a bit of a chip on my shoulder. When I had brought Bashful in a month earlier, Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
said bring that he'd call with the lab results from tests he'd run. When he called he said to come back in 2 weeks. When I called to schedule the two week follow-up appointment I was told that Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was on vacation for the next 3-4 weeks. At this appointment, when I told him the results of Bashful's PLI test (a test very specific for pancreatitis) he dismissed it by saying "whatever that means" and then later said "if she has pancreatitis." I found that odd and disturbing; both a biopsy and a blood test showed her to have pancreatitis. I felt like he was ignoring the pancreatitis and mostly concerned with her diabetes and then her hydration. I was glad when he said I didn't have to come back unless my primary vet suggested it. I would use Northwest Vet Specialists again, but I'd not really want to see Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
again.

"Every staff member I dealt with was cognizent of the situation and was very sensitive and comforting. I appreciate that they took Bashful in the back before even getting the details from me. That way they could begin examining while I was providing the info to
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. Almost immediately after I talked with
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, I saw one of the techs go to the vet office and tell Dr. Zawadski that they had an emergency. She dropped what she was doing and headed off. When she had more questions for me, the tech came out to ask them. Dr. Zawadski was very tactful in terms of Bashful's prognosis and then went to get Bashful for me. Meanwhile
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
took me in the consult room and discussed matters. I wanted to take Bashful's remains home for my other two cats to see (so they wouldn't meow around looking for her) and then take her to a pet mortuary.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
said I could bring her back there and they'd send her to the mortuary, but I wanted to go myself. Dr. Zawadski brought me Bashful carefully bundled up and settled her in my arms and told me that while she had only seen Bashful once years ago, the staff knew her well and were also saddened. Then they left me alone to say my private goodbyes. After a while they peaked in and I gave them the go ahead to get ready. Dr. Zawadski was very soothing and kept her voice low as she explained what would happen and when she told me the heart had stopped. They gave me a while longer with her and when I was ready took her to get ready to take home. At no time did I feel rushed to go to the next step. Thoughtfully, I was told that I could pay however was easiest for me... we decided they'd invoice me. Dr. Zawadski herself brought out the box with Bashful and carried it to my car before giving me a hug. Overall, it was a very difficult experience, but I can't imagine it being handled any more thoughtfully. Their thoughtfulness made it a bit easier for me.

"We have been going there for years. I think the prices are reasonable. They are very committed. They give a lot of personal attention. "

"I am there probably every two to three weeks. It is a wonderful group of doctors and veterinarian assistants. They provided wonderful care for all three of my dogs. I am one of their highest paying customers. Their price is at
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and they are just as reasonable as some of the others that I have been to. I will absolutely continue to use them. "

"On 7/20/10 my 8 1/2 year-old Golden had a new patient visit for $54 and an aspiration of a cyst for $125. Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
did a very thorough and complete exam. He followed up the next day by phone call with the results of the aspiration. Then on 8/9/10, we had to go back in for an illness. They got us in within a few hours of my phone call. Dr.
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
saw her that day, and again performed a thorough, complete exam. This visit involved medications and tests and the bill came to $160. Both visits were very reasonably priced for what was done. There was no encouraging of unnecessary tests at either visit. The staff is efficient, competent and friendly.
