"The frame around the front door of our house did not have enough space to simply add a storm door as there was not enough space for the door handle(s) in the existing door frame.
" and team built out the door frame to accommodate the new storm door, installed the door and did the finish work. It looks fabulous, looks as if it was part of the original build ( he home was just built about a year ago). Neighbors have complemented on the workmanship and he was kind enough to touch up other areas of paint on our porch that had begun to chip (without us asking). He also assisted a neighbor who needed advice on a poorly installed screen door in their garage. Would definitely recommend and would use their services again.

"It has gone poorly. I feel as though I'm being told whatever the leasing office feels necessary to get me off the phone. If I owed Meridian over $5000, they would move heaven" and earth to get their money. I've been polite thus far, but feel as though it is time to report them for not returning my money promptly. There simply isn't any excuse for this, and frankly, at the high prices they charge for rentals, I'd expect better treatment. I probably should take this to small claims court, and
for lost interest the money could be earning, but far, I've just asked for the money owed to be returned. This leasing company has numerous properties in the area, and generally has a pretty good reputation. I wonder how long that reputation would last if this shoddy treatment was made public. The amount of money owed is very small compared to what they take in; it should be easy to just pay me what I'm owed and move on. The unacceptable delays makes me angry enough that I feel compelled to report this to Angie's List and other consumer-oriented venues.

"Throughout the time that the provider has provided service there has been negligence and inn attentive behavior unless there was some additional financial advantage to him. He did not" provide regular inspections, responsive communication, financial management, utility monitoring, and price gauging has taken place. The owner took full advantage of the property owner's distance from the property and has withheld rental payments, performed work at shifting prices, absent negligence and misrepresented several rental circumstances, costs and goings on at the property.

We had asked him to repair a key lock on our pool gate (in addition to replacing an interior door with a key lock).
He advised us that we needed to have work done on securing the fencing first or else the replacement of the bolt
would be worthless.
He was informative, caring, and had everything on his truck ready to go.

We have a tenant with 3 children that has been living above us for a year. During that entire time, these children frequently run across our ceiling, stomp on our ceiling, and slam their door going in and out of the apartment. The children are running in and out of the apartment numerous times each day slamming the door. The mother usually gets home from work between 3pm and 4pm, but waits until 9:30pm or 10pm to vacuum her floor. There is allegedly a 12 year-old babysitter who does absolutely nothing to control the kids' unruly behavior (much like the mother). The babysitter has even allowed the kids to throw water balloons down off their balcony violating another lease

. We have complained numerous times to the property manager who will only talk to them and ask them nicely to stop but after repeated talks with them, the excessive noise continues. The lease clearly states that residents are not allowed to make excessive noise or bother their neighbors, but the property manager refuses to enforce the lease rules against them even though their staff has witnessed and admitted to hearing the excessive noise. I am a 62 year-old disabled veteran and my girlfriend who lives with me is 57 and has mobility problems. I feel we are being discriminated against because the property manager has told me on several occasions that "they're just kids...they're gonna make noise". To me, this is a clear case of age and family discrimination. The property manager would never allow several adults to get away with all this excessive noise, but it has become painfully obvious that she's willing to allow these kids to do so with impunity. We have lived in this complex for 2 1/2 years with no complaints against us. We have had 2 sets of previous tenants living above us (including a single mother with a teenage son and 12 year-old daughter) before this family and never had any problems with them. The property manager has offered to move us, but given our limited income, the length of time we've been here, and the fact that we are not the ones creating the excessive noise, we don't feel we should be forced to move. Forcing us to move would create an undue physical, emotional and financial

on us. The tenant above us was also given the option to move and refused. Do not move here if you are looking for any kind of "quiet enjoyment" or fair treatment. We have many friends, family members and even the internet technician who were astonished that these neighbors are allowed to create so much noise and still live here.

I applied for a short term lease of 4 months at

Vista in May 2014. I made if very clear that I would only be here for 4
months because I have accepted a job in New Zealand. We talked about
this at length, the leasing agent even knew someone who had lived there
etc. I agreed to a lease until September 12,2014 so we would be on an
even month. When I stopped by the office to let them know we will
actually be out of the apartment on August 25, 2014 in case they wanted
to get in and get it ready for the next tenant, they claim I have to
give 60 days notice. I feel I was very clear in my intent and in fact
gave them 120 days notice. At no time did the leasing agent tell me I
would have to repeat this notification. I feel this is a deceptive
practice by putting a note in the lease requiring 60 days notice and not
informing me that my very clear intentions did not serve this purpose.
I am fine with paying through September 12, 2014 as the lease indicated,
but I do not feel they are justified in charging me for an additional
month and fees for breaking lease.
I have done exactly what I told them I would when I moved in. I was
very clear about what I needed and the length of time I needed it for.
Their failure to note this on their end should not become my financial
responsibility. If they needed additional notice they should have said
so when I signed the lease. I repeatedly told them I would be leaving in
4 months and that my new job started on September 1, 2014. My daughter
was with me during at least one of these conversations and can confirm
this.
It even states on my lease that I am moving to New Zealand in September
on page 2 of the on line lease application.

The apartment is older which means you get everything that comes with being 'old' (NOT a big deal) Old should be charming right? Not with

This company cuts corners — For example we had a pane of glass in the basement that would fall out of place, the solution? They nailed it back into place, cracking/chipping the glass … and then during the winter it would fall out again leaving a hole in our basement that screamed: "

The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't adequate — after living there for a few weeks I called maintenance because the bathroom had huge swaths of black mold on the walls covering the closet and the ceiling. The latex paint even bubbled up and peeled off of the walls. (You would think we were turning the showers on to the

temp and leaving them for hours at a time — sauna right? … Nope!) To fix the problem of the mold a repairmen came and sprayed a solution of concentrated bleach on the walls, the rest of the time we lived there, you wouldn't dare brush up against those walls (no matter how many times I cleaned them) not if you valued your clothes. While the repairman was there he recommended taking cold showers and leaving the door and window wide open.
Shouldn't. Have. To. Do. That.
We also had a washer and dryer in our apartment (that were ours). We asked numerous times for them to fix the hot water line in the basement that ran to the appliances … so if I wanted to wash the towels with hot water, you know … I could? I like options. The response was "They're not our appliances … legally we can't touch them" So cold water it was — I'm ok with being eco-friendly. They had the same policy on their dishwasher … that thing NEVER worked the entire time I lived there. Management informed… nothing done.
don't get me started on the rats. Our neighbor would sit his trash by our back door and then the rats would come — one of them gnawed a hole in our window screen trying to get into our apartment. Management informed … nothing done.
Etc., Etc., Etc. One thing after another.
The office staff doesn't feel returning calls is a part of their job once you've signed the lease. When I signed my portion of the lease we had TWO requirements ( A cracked window upstairs needed repaired (had been there since before my partner moved in) and to have a screen door put in … we were the only ones without one on our row of units) I didn't think the requests were obscene … nothing ever happened — as soon as we had penned the lease, it was business as usual. The whole reason I'm writing this review is because after expecting our deposit back we received a bill for $220 or so (that's WITH our security deposit used up). We're still awaiting the itemized list of grievances from this company … but after cleaning, scrubbing and painting that apartment in order to turn it over … I don't think I should owe anything past our security deposit being used up — especially given OUR long list of grievances.
