is a wonderful doctor but too bad that the Staff are not the same. I called in with what could have been a medical emergency and the" woman who answered told me that it wasn't a big deal. I asked for a call from the nurse and am still waiting. Earlier, I called with a billing question and spoke with the person at the front desk. I asked for "
" so I could discuss things. "
" is the name on the bill whom it says to speak with. Well, I was promptly told that he was not in the office and she didn't know when he would be. She said she could help instead. I explained that there was an additional charge on my bill that was for a procedure that did not occur. The woman then went on to tell me that it was for a birth control shot I had received . . . Believe me, I would know if I had had a BC shot. Ultimately, she said she would take my number and have
to call me. Sadly, I have not heard from this
in almost 2 weeks of waiting. Sadly, I will ultimately have to pay for this procedure which did not occur in order to keep it from going to Collections. Sadly, I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone again.

"This place is awful! My pregnant daughter moved to
in August. She called to see if they accepted her insurance & made an appointment" when they told her they did. It was about a month out but she had seen her previous Dr. right before they moved so she figured it would be okay even tho she is high risk -Type 1 diabetic. She dropped off all her records from her previous Dr. They called twice & rescheduled her so her appointment ends up being on 9/22/15. She gets there, fills out the paper work & they tell her they no longer take her insurance! She is 35 weeks along by now & hasn't seen a Dr. in almost 2 months because of the runaround they gave her! don't take a
with these people unless you plan on paying cash.

Menstrual complaints such as pain, irregularity, acne, and hormonal imbalance may actually be indicative of an underlying disorder. Many common diseases can be detected by regular gynecological screenings.

Hello, this is Kyle K from the Member Care Department.

I apologize for my delay. We encourage healthcare providers to list the insurances they accept when creating their Angie’s List profile. At this time however, many providers have not completed this section, or the information wasn't available when Angie's List created their listing.
I encourage you to visit your insurance provider's website, as many offer search tools to find local healthcare providers. You can then cross-reference these with Angie's List. We’re happy to help look up these individual providers for you, too.
I am sorry I could not answer your question directly, but I hope this information was helpful.

Please let me know if there's any other assistance or info I can provide. You can respond in line to this Q&A thread by submitting a new answer. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com or toll-free at 1-866-783-2980 to speak with a live representative. Our call center hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am-8:15 pm Eastern Time or Saturday from 8:30 am-3:00 pm ET.

Obgyn Care reviews in Skiatook

I saw an ad on Facebook about a special they were running with free facial and my guest to sit in the full body massage chair with a purchase of $100 or more. I absolutely needed this due to me breaking out from this pregnancy! This is definitely a great deal! I booked online at midnight and I got a text and email immediately to remind me of my appointment (SO COOL). When I showed up, I was amazed how beautiful this facility was! While I was filling out the waiver, my husband and son was playing

Bros on the wii (now my son didn't want to leave that room). Being pregnant you know you have to use the restroom frequently, and amazed again their restroom was even very pretty and smelled nice with candles. After being thankful I didn't need a full bladder, I grabbed my busy husband and son from

to go see what I came here for the GENDER! We walk back in the

room and WOW!!! THEY HAVE MOVIE THEATER SEATS AND THEY RECLINE and we watched our baby on an 80" TV! When the tech put the gel on me I was expecting really cold gel, THEY WARM THEIR GELS! They explained everything to us during the

and pointed everything out because we had no idea what we were looking at at times. AND YES... I got my girl!! Great pics and lots of pics! When the session was done they cleaned me up with a real towel and again a HOT Towel! She even lotion me up!! Now, it's time for the facial and massage chair for my husband. They brought a chair in for my son and he watched NETFLIX while mommy and daddy was getting pampered. We left there in such excitement and not to mention we were relaxed and refreshed. I absolutely recommend this facility to everyone! It is a really great experience and I will go there for all of my pregnancy's and will return a couple more times during this pregnancy. I also get 20% off on all services during this pregnancy. I love this place!!!

could not be more understanding and kind. She is very helpful. She diagnosed a condition in which two other doctors gave the wrong diagnosis for. My mom is extremely happy with her service. She is very personable and friendly.

It's a very long review, so here's a bottom line: if you are a healthy, active woman, who is knowledgeable and proactive about her health, and you wonder if the few bad reviews about this doctor are over exaggerated, read on since my experience was almost identical to the other unfavorable reviewers'. But if you need a doctor who will hold your hand and tell you everything you should know and do, than you will probably be very happy with him.
I wanted to deliver at the

and looked for a provider that delivered there. The overwhelming number of positive reviews made me overlook the few negative ones, and now I wish I believed them. He is a good doctor for a very particular type of patient, and very lousy for someone like me. My husband was about to go on deployment and it was very important for me to have a doctor I could trust completely since I would go through my first pregnancy and delivery alone. I was impressed with his very well developed website and our first meeting with Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
went very well. He gave us A LOT of time that first time I was there, went into very fine details, which my husband felt was condescending (I didn't), and overall looked like a good fit. Then I only saw his PA for the next few months, which I was absolutely okay with.
I am very healthy and very knowledgeable about human body, therefore never really had any questions. Until one time I did. I was going on a business trip to Hawaii and wanted to spend some time there enjoying the islands and I had a few specific questions for him. Mainly, how to handle the change on climate (it was winter) and whether I should avoid any foods, not already included in the common off-limits list. I waited in the room for 45 minutes, which was okay since I figured he had an emergency, then he walked in, looked me over, measured my belly, asked if I had any questions. When I asked him, he gave me ridiculous answers, like a suggestion to make sure I don't get lost in the mountains etc. Then I had a very specific question about my breasts, and he got annoyed. He gave me a huge lecture on how to treat people with respect, that there are other women in his waiting room and I am stealing his time away from them. I was in complete disbelieve, it was the second time I saw him and first time he kept me there talking for at last half an hour, and now after sitting in the exam room for 45 min, how was I supposed to know that he only allowed 10 minutes per patient? I was in tears, which never happens to me (I guess the hormones played a part in that). I left feeling miserable and haven't seen him for another couple months.
As my belly grew, I started having pains in my pelvic bones and hips. I saw his PA for a regular check-up and her suggestion was to just deal with it, since it was a common pregnancy side effect. What?? She didn't recommend ANYTHING, no physical therapy or chiropractor. Nothing. I was very active up until then, but I had to stop almost all my workouts due to pain. In couple weeks I saw him and told him about my hip pain which was almost unbearable by that point and asked for a referral to a physical therapist (my insurance requires it). He got sidetracked by my birth plan (I brought it because I thought I was supposed to follow the schedule on his website). It all went downhill from that point. I had a very standard birth plan for a modern mom and I tried to use the newest guidelines, like no continuous monitoring or IV. He didn't like it and said that I should probably look for another doctor. I was over 6 months pregnant. Then he had a change of heart and said he'll take care of everything. And that is how I became "THAT" patient. I was always scheduled to be the last patient so he could have enough time to lecture me, and it didn't matter that I was working 45 minutes away from the office. It's gotten so bad that I hated going into the office, but it was too late to change the doctor. Mind you, I wasn't telling him how to do his job, I just wanted him to factor my wishes in when making decisions about MY body. By the way, I had to wait almost a month to get a referral to a physical therapist, and they just scheduled me at some office they work with, and it didn't matter that I had a job and very little free time. I ended up seeing a chiropractor, who saved my ability to walk (I was using crutches by then).
It was a bizarre situation. I went from being ridiculously healthy and easy going to constantly arguing with my doctor cripple in a matter of a couple months. Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
decided to rewrite my birth plan, so it sounded better. What?? Mind you, he agreed with everything it said, he just didn't like the short and to the point language. He didn't bother stopping and thinking for a moment that it wasn't his right to edit my wishes. I was avoiding him and saw his PA, who proved to be not the most knowledgeable person. She could never find baby's heartbeat, she always assumed he was breeched and for her the only way to tell the baby's position was through internally checking my cervix. I refused internal exams and the PA told me that she couldn't tell in any other way. Internal checks were no longer recommended by the Academy of ObGYN, by the way. At every (now weekly) visit they reminded me that they needed to perform the internal exam and tried to make me feel irresponsible. And at that point I was researching my legal rights as a patient and prayed that Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
would not be on call the day I go into labour. He wasn't, and I had a wonderful experience at the
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
center, where the nurses, midwives, and the physician on call didn't find anything wrong with my birth plan.
Fast-forward two weeks, I went to see Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
for my post-delivery check-up. My husband was still deployed and I had to take my son with me. I waited almost two hours in the exam room with a
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
. All the while I heard couple in the room next door having their first pregnancy visit. When my check-up finally began, Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
did not perform an internal exam, he just chatted about my delivery experience. The only question I had was about mastitis. I asked him who I should call if I develop the textbook symptoms of mastitis. Do you know what he said? "LaLeche League should be able to help you". Are you kidding me??? He finally said that if I have definite signs of mastitis, I should go to the emergency room. I never saw him after that. I switched to the joint practice that delivers at
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
and it was the best decision I made about my health. By the way, I ended up with mastitis, and had my new ObGYN take care of it, not an emergency room.
So, if you are still reading it and feeling on the fence about having him as your obstetrician, run away. Choose the doctors and midwives he cross-covers with, they are wonderful and you will still be able to deliver at

I am in the military and back in 2013 I was pregnant with my first. The military care I received was disappointing and not what I thought I would be experiencing. I searched online and called civilian doctors I could see and none could take me when I needed an appointment right away. I found exceptional reviews of Dr.
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
and called. From that first phone call with his receptionist
Skiatook Obstetricians Provider Name Locked
, I have received nothing but incredible care. My first appointment he made me feel welcomed and most importantly took his time with me to sit down and just talk. I was so relieved and so happy to have found him! I will be moving out of state once my service in the military ends, but I will still come back annually to visit for my check up. One thing that was important to me was making sure that the Dr. I was seeing would be the one to deliver my baby, and he did, when I called late at night and left a message, he called back 3 minutes later and was at the hospital before I was. That meant the world to me. Very dependable.

I don't feel they are attentive to patients. They changed midwifes midyear. I felt they were unprofessional. Never walked me through my procedure and I had to ask many questions. They need to be more focused on their clients.

I have heard nothing but praise for Dr.
