"I was notified that they are no longer going to going to be carrying the wireless prepaid services through
, and I was told that we need" to switch to the wireless carrier of our choice. I was given 3 weeks to switch to another carrier, and I was informed that I would have to use the balance of the prepaid phone or the minutes would be forfeited. My issue is that the phone is my Aunt's, who is currently out of country, and there would be no way that $80 worth of minutes would be used within 21 days. After being bounced around several customer service agents, I was given the run around that I was unable to speak with them, not a manager. It's very frustrating that I was unable to talk to someone that would understand the issue of in no way being able to use all of these minutes within a short period of time. What I am seeking would be a credit for some of the money that I have for the prepaid for the talk minutes. I just think that is a lot of talk time to ask any customer to use within a 3 week period. This is a very poor business practice and it is very frustrating that customer needs/money is not being considered within this scenario.

"I was trying to decide who to go with and Angie’s List didn’t have a lot of good information. In fact nobody did. I just went with whoever had the" fastest internet available. The service call was free, but the service itself costs about $145 monthly and that includes internet and premium services also. Their customer service is fine. They solved the problem itself. They come when they say they’re going to on a certain day within a window of time. The people are good but the system isn’t that great. They are way too expensive.

I think APD was an absolute amazing company. The owner and the marketing director both came to my business and took care of business. They sold me from the get go! Everything they had to say just made sense. Not to mention the fact that if I did not at least double my profits in 3 months, they would fully refund me.....You cannot beat that.

’t have any problems. When I do have a problem, usually I have to reset routers or the modems. Their customer service is very good. If you call them, they are very helpful. The repair service is excellent. The internet service, even with their router, is out quite a bit. I switched to their router at their suggestion, hoping to improve the service, which it did not.

It's been some time since it was installed, but as far as I remember the installation went fine. We use both phone and internet service. We have had no problems with the phone service. It is cheap and totally reliable, with many useful features. The internet has gone down on rare occasions, but for the most part is very reliable. I would recommend both services.

I called in to see if I could get service on 1/8/2015. The office staff informed me that I was in the service area but they would need to do a site evaluation to insure that I could get a reliable connection, I was told that this is a no charge service for them to come out and check the site and that they would be out the next morning to make the check. They did come out the next day and had to get up on my roof to see if they had line of site to one of their towers in the area, as it turned out I had a clear line of site and that I would only need the basic install. The very professional and polite and informed me that the office would call back to give me a install cost and set a time for the install. The office call back on the 1/12/2015 Monday and after a short conversation I agreed to the $200.00 install fee and would pay a prorated charge for service for the balance of the month. The total came to 259.00 dollars with sales tax. I set the install up for the next morning at 9:00 am. The same man that did the evaluation did the install. I about 2 hour he had me up and running. The whole process was easy and quick! I was completely satisfied with the company. They were on time and communicate with me though out the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone need a great rural internet provider.

. When I moved into my home uverse was fastest, I have family who have worked for AT&T so I thought... why not...
Uverse has some great features, but their prices are outrageous.
The challenge, the only competition in town (for internet service) is Xfinity/Comcast. They are both so big that it is hard to get a reaction out of them.
To be fair, the Phone service people were professional, albeit always off-shore.
The people that came to the house, super professional, very nice, easy to get along with.
I consider the field workers to be top shelf working with what they have.
Biggest issue and why I am switching providers? The DVR service... You watch it for a while and it stutters, it has been on-going for over 6 months... I have had different service people here, they have swapped out the DVR TWICE. They have re-wired my home, attempted to charge me for re-wiring once.
Comp'd me more than once for part of the bill, but they cannot fix the DVR stutter. My was on a plane waiting to take off when I called him and complained about it "doing it again" the man in the seat next to him from South

who also had uverse said they had been having the same problem for about the same time. We can only assume it is something in the hardware or software of the system. In any event they cant fix it and we cant record things have the family sit around to watch a movie and have the playback freeze many times or not play at all.

The main reason things didn't go well is that the TWC approach to customer service is to push additional services on the customer. Both times I called, the reps wanted to ask me questions about my internet use, number of devices in the home, etc., leading up to offering me "the best option". For example, the sales rep. offered me a bundle for $103/month, when all I wanted was the internet service for $35! Even when I called to cancel, I was asked similar questions, which seemed totally irrelevant to cancellation. When I asked who I could contact to file a complaint, I was told I should go to the nearest store to fill out a form--that's ridiculous! In addition, several personal remarks were made during the sales call that my husband and I found totally irrelevant. Maybe that's TWC's idea of personalized service, but it didn't work for us. Finally, the sales reps should have a clear understanding of the installation process, so they don't argue with a customer (as this one did) about what might be required. That would allow the customer to know the full cost of installation and make an informed decision. The technician who came out was the only person in this process who seemed to know what to do, and provided excellent customer care.

I changed the TV service because of increasing prices, but I kept the land line phone and Internet. Even when they dropped the price, they dropped it from the raised price, not the previous one.

I work from home. The internet service went out early Monday morning and did not get resolved until after 6pm that evening. I lost an entire day of work.
