arrived on time, quickly gave me an estimate, and he started work. He informed me that code required that the new wired lights required an arc fault breaker," and he tested and supplied the new breaker. He did the trouble-shooting for the service switch and told me he did not have the part on hand. I offered to make a run for it, and he moved on to the boiler circuit. By the time I returned with the correct switch for the service cutoff, he was just finishing up the surge suppressor installation. He completed all tasks, cleaned up his work areas and tested everything. Could not be more pleased.

"The installer generally did a great job. There was an issue with broken wall parts near new switches. I called
to ask for some more information. I was told by" the receptionist/scheduler
that the company is not responsible for wall damage. I spoke with Will, the salesman, as well. He was rude and kept saying they are electrician's and not wall experts. That was fair, but I spoke with a few electricians including a master electrician and they mentioned they would have fixed the wall or used a plate. Will was so rude he hung up on me. I left a message for the manager
and never heard back from last message to him. I will never use this company and I continue to warn people about using this company. I strongly urge people to find another electrician.

Here is about the same question (for 1 fan) a while back, with answer:

Your total cost could be from 1.5-3 times that shown in the answer, depending on how much of the wiring for the three fans he can combine - i.e. can he easily run one power circuit for all 3 fans, then just tap off that for switches and runs to the fans, are they fans only or with lights (double the wiring and switches), etc. Note the costs do NOT include drywall/panelling repair or painting to match. Also, you are going to be near the top end of the estimates, because in all probability your access is poor, and 3 fans are almost certain to require a totally new run from the breaker box.

Unless you have an open exposed-joist attic above where the fans are to go AND the top of the walls the switches will go in, you can expect substantial holes in walls and ceiling to pull the wires and fasten them - by code, you cannot just pull wires between joist and let them lie on the top of the ceiling drywall - you have to staple them to joists every few feet, so you end up with several 1-2 foot holes typically near top of the wall (to drill through top plate), near side of ceiling to grab and bend wire coming up wall, and maybe one mid-ceiling to reach in and fasten wire, then of course the two openings that are ultimately fully concealed by the switch plate and the fan mounting plate or dome.

Before you get into this project I would check with the condo management if you are allowed to do this - there are limits to how much you can modify your condo and how much you can modify or add in the way of electric circuits.

Depends a tremendous amount on access - if accessible from exposed-joist in attic above, then you might get this for about $300-500 or so for the wiring and installation, plus $200-400 for the materials and dimmer switches, plus the cost of the light fixtures themselves. Probably about $100-150 to repair ceiling if single hole for one fixture, to $200-300 if existing trough-type flourescent fixtures. Painting the repair could be $100 - 250 depending on whether he can match the patch, or has to repaint the entire ceiling to get a uniform effect - which is more common in kitchens, which usually have untextured ceilings and gloss paint. Another alternative it is have the hole patched and prime and plain paint it yourself, then cover the area with a decorative emblem or crest to avoid having to repaint the whole ceiling. Personally I would just put a compatible style fixture in its place, which you might or might not choose to use, so you avoid the cost of repairing the hole and painting entirely, as that is "lost" $.

If the kitchen/dining room ceiling is not accessible from above, then the electrician will have to tear into wall and ceilings, so installation labor might go to $400-600, and drywall reapir and painting probably to about $400-600, depending on how many holes the elecrtrician has to put in and assuming entire surface painting to get a uniform paint look on each disturbed wall or ceiling.

One possibility for savings might be low voltage lighting for some of the kithcen fixtures, which might reduce your wiring cost and number of holes if you do not have attic access.

Be careful on the dimmable LED bulbs - be aware that dimmable bulbs generally cost a lot more, and many brands don't perform well in dimming mode because they are designed to run at a constant voltage, and a lot will not dim past about 40% power before they flick out or start flickering. Some will actually fry the electronics and burn up at lower voltage. Also, there are three different types of dimmers and different bulbs need a different type dimmer switch, so you will have to be careful to always buy the right type bulb, and use all the same type bulb in a given circuit. Here is an article on the types of problmes you can have with LED dimming, even with bulbs designed to be dimmed -

Lighting Installation reviews in Purcell

They offered good suggestions for making the skylights open and close easily and conveniently by installing solar motors with remote controls, but they didn't push any unnecessary work. Their work was neat and professional, and they did it quickly. The products and workmanship were top quality.

After interviewing six firms, I chose

to update our out of date and poorly functioning kitchen. Five of the chosen firms gave perfunctory presentations, just replacing our current cabinets and layout with new ones, showing no creativity at all. When I initially talked with all the firms I emphasized that they should use their imagination and think creatively.
Only one firm demonstrated that the designer had put time and effort into the new kitchen design --

. They are a design/build firm and the same person,

is the designer as well as the contractor on the job and that really appealed to me.
Purcell Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
came up with a fantastic design and actually took the time to create a virtual model of the kitchen on his computer.
We began working on the design with
Purcell Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
in August 2013. He was flexible and easy to work with, listening and seriously considering our ideas as well as his. We completed the design phase in October 2013. Because my husband and I were not available until March,

began demolition and construction the end of March. His lead carpenter and project manager,

uses the same plumber and electrician on all jobs. Unfortunately, the electrician's work was not as precise as I would have wanted and he had to return a number of times to either correct problems or install additional items. He also broke a wall sconce and my husband had a difficult time getting it replaced as the original company is no longer in business.
The construction sailed along right on schedule and everything looked great, so I was very optimistic that the project would be completed by

2014. Then problems started to appear. Some of the cabinets did not match an existing cabinet and righting that problem took until October 2014. There were several other problems, i.e. the transformer for our track lighting was faulty and had to be replaced but the replacement unit was on a slow boat from China and was not installed until October 2014 as well. The kitchen was completed today, October 13, 2014.
Despite the multiple delays and problems, the end product, our kitchen is magnificent. When friends come to see it their jaws drop open in amazement. It is a joy to work in such a beautiful environment. The extra time and expense that it took was worth our patience. I would definitely work with

I love them, they are excellent and I highly recommend them. My experience with them has been so positive that I don't use any one else. Also the job they estimated for four hours was like thirty minutes.

Painting was done very well--rooms looked great. I have had him paint a couple of years ago and it was done well that time as well.
Person ended up working a weekend while I was out of town so that helped in timing. Took two coats of paint in some places so original estimate was low. I had to go back to purchase more paint three times. ...More /> Furniture was moved out of the way, there was some wall scratches found in room where furniture was stacked after job was finished. I was not told he would be tipping some smaller end tables with drawers, etc. so contents were in a mess.

One cover plate for an unusual light switch was lost so that had to be ordered after the fact. He replaced it within a couple of weeks after job was finished.
Clean up could have been better as some paint spilled in the bottom of my garbage can.

Great job and worked with us on a budget. I was able to spread out the work to match the pacing of our remodel. Very flexible with our schedule and usually were able to come the next day after a contact. We would highly recommend to anyone.

installed a low voltage landscape around the entirety of the perimeter of my home lighting system at my home in May 2013, which included uplight spoltlights directed at my home and a backyard tree, along with pathway lighting. I was extremely pleased with the project. I utilized the provider again for a spring tune up. I noticed two of the uplights were out the day before I was having an outdoor party, contacted the provider, and they provided emergency service the same day at no additional cost. The company is extremely responsive. They even allowed me to use a Angie's List discount coupon for the work! I highly recommend them for both installation of new lighting systems, and upgrade and service to existing systems.
- Marcia K.

I didn't find the receptionist friendly, but the electrician came on time and performed the jobs quickly and efficiently. I had called primarily because my outdoor lights weren't working. I had no problems with his work, only with the bill. He replaced a part of my 24 Hour Mechanical Time Switch. He was done within an hour, but the bill was $195.00, meaning he charged over $90 for a little part. The whole unit runs about $70 as far as I can tell from prices on-line. I tried to question the bill in the office, but to no avail. No, I won't call
