"He was a patient of Dr.
for a couple of years. He tried several products and eventually had to use Acutane which is a very high powered drug to clear up the" acne. You have to be monitored with blood tests on this drug. It worked!

"Wait was not very long. Once the doctor saw me, it was quick. Looked at the growth, assured me it was not a problem, but to be safe, froze it off. Visit was quick.

"Once in to see the physician, it was fine. Quick but thorough. I was pleased with experience with physician. I also am appreciative of the fact that I was able to get an appointment" on short notice while other dermatologists in the area couldn't see me for nearly six weeks! The downside, and the only reason for a lower grade was the extremely long wait--- about two hours. No doubt that's the price for being able to get in on short notice, but they need to do something like a restaurant-- tell you about how long your wait will be.

Made the appointment--waited 20-30 min in the waiting room. Staff very nice! Dr.

completed a body scan and performed cryotherapy on 1 lesion and excised another. He told me what he was doing--very little discomfort. He is very competent and a nice guy!

Successful for this type of treatment. For a melanoma at the base of neck, I should have been referred to a plastic surgeon, however. Subsequent consultation with a plastic surgeon has resulted in diminishing the scar. So, for these dermatologists or any, I advise caution and requesting a referral to a more specialized doctors in important areas.

Removed growth from my cheek, biopsy, surgery to remove cancerous cells, plastic surgery. Took a little longer to get biopsy results because of Christmas/New Year holidays(not their fault independent lab). Diagnosed cancerous surgery required. Surgery day continuous exploration until all cancer removed then plastic surgery. Surgery staples removed 10 days later and after 1 month no evidence (scar) was present. These guys are professional beyond reproach.

My husband and I both had exams with Dr.
Purcell Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
in the same week. My husband went for a baseline exam at the recommendation of his GP as skin cancer is prevalent in his family. I went for an exam to address a recent infection that I had on my face. We scheduled both appts via one phone call and only had to wait a week to get in. Neither of us had to wait long for our exams. Dr.
Purcell Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
and her staff were very professional. She did full exams and made certain that she answered any questions that we had. She does rep several lines of products and did offer them as possible solutions for some of our concerns; however she did not "hard sell." In fact, she lets her staff go over the specific items available and the price which I think is a more relaxed approach for the patient. Her office staff were friendly and professional. The office itself is clean and comfortable.

Normally I don't do this. But I have to write a review on this place. I went in to have something checked out. And I have to say from the front desk to the doctor, just not very personable. I'm sorry if your taking vital information about someone and some condition, I think you should have a much more personable attitude towards your clients. Honestly, maybe it was just me but not only was this place not personable, but almost a little rude and snobby. I will say they did provide a diagnosis for me that made sense, however its almost as if going to see a doctor at this place, they look at you like your wasting their time. I have been to a dermatologist in the past, and I have to say this place has a lot to learn about being more personable to their new customers. Not sure how existing customers are treated, I hope they get a little more respect. Never to return. I hate the fact that every time you go see a doctor you have to provide all your insurance ect... I think you should be allowed to meet the doctor first, before you give away such vital information about yourself. Anyways, WOW, this place really needs to learn a lesson in

bed side manner.

nothing really went anywhere. I could tell most the people there were regular patients. I did not feel as a new patient, that it was welcoming at all. At least, not enough for me to return. I had to pay out of pocket, because my insurance is not that good, so if i have to pay someone, i at least want to feel like you care. It was just a coldness to me, from the people at front desk to the doctor himself. Now as far as my condition is concerned, i was just told to do what i had already been doing and the reason that i was experiencing what i was, was because of hairstyling,.and it wasn't. Just wasn't good for me, but it may be right for someone else.

All went well. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I had a little bit of a wait when I arrived but nothing too bothersome. The office runs efficiently and the staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Selkin is great - he listened and offered different suggestions. He took his time - I never felt rushed which I appreciated. I had a follow up visit and my experience was just as positive. And I received a follow up call to make sure that all was well!
