Founder Angie Hicks shares the reasons behind Angie's List's decision to operate a quality child care center at the company's headquarters in Indianapolis.

How much does child care cost?

Full-time care can cost anywhere between $100 and $400 per week. Many facilities won't take children under a year, and if your child is between 12 and 18 months - still defined as an "infant" in many states - expect to pay an additional $50 to $100 per week. Finding quality daycare is a challenge; while cost is critical, so is finding a provider who does more than the bare minimum. Daycare prices range from the reasonable to the ridiculous - what does great care really cost?
