It was an extremely cold day, installer didn't seem to mind working in that type of weather, seemed efficient and did the work as quickly as possible.
In the process he knocked down an antique pottery bird bottle, broke that, didn't mention it. also when project completed he came to us with paperwork, indicated it was for his rating in order to be paid, did not even mention the fact that we were obligating ourselves to a two year contract @ $80 plus dollars! Very well overall. However they don't inform you that if you do not have a Cat5 outlet they do not install so they drill a hole in your floor. This makes the installation look unprofessional. Waiting to see if this new gateway holds up. We also have

He spent a few hours going on a "treasure hunt" to find the previous cabling and getting cabling into the 4 rooms we want to set up with the Dish system. He is very committed to serving the customer and will do what it takes to get you hooked up. He will have to make a second trip out once we get the trees cut and was fine with setting us up with a temp set up until then. He also found a way to put the dish in an easy accessible location.

After a question and answer period, I was told to take my router/modum to the local Customer Service Center. Service was fine, prompt at the promised time. However, the actual satellite used was not a new in the box piece of equipment , I am not sure if this will be a problem or not, but I wish to point it out. The receiver and remotes were new, and all seems to be working fine!

I ask if they would pay me back .. and he began explaning "it wouldnt matter .. he was not going to warranty anything on my systen that was only 1 month old because it was on a boat and not an RV" .. I explained what the dealer had said ( "fine ! works great on all our boats" ) I explainded I had talked to a nice man there at

closed the conversation by saying " it doesnt matter what the dealer or any one else has said ! Im the head of this depart ment and we will warranty nothing on this sytem ! " I ask if it being on the boat was the reason why it wouldnt work and he said no .. it should work fine .. but it was to be on an RV not a boat so no warranty ! I ask if I could send it back in and pay any differance if need .. no replay .. I would like to note .. no where in the installers guide does it say only for a RV or in the warranty info ..

was GREAT! No complaints there, wonderful person. Problems arose with the first bill which was $170.00 when we had been told it was to be about $140.00--and we had asked for the total bill including taxes, etc. We asked this prior to installation.
Calls to AT&T staff about the bill, after installation were terrible with very, very long waits and with staff who had a very difficult time understanding the complaint and continuously repeated what must be a company line. Spoke to a supervisor who issued the same company line. Bottom line--too bad. Though we had been told approximately $140.00, building from the bundle deal starting at $119.00, somehow that $119.00 bundle ended up being almost $170.00 and no one cared or offered to help except to take away services to reduce our bill. Explaining that we had been told our bill would be approximately $140.00 WITH these services fell on flat ears. It was very, very frustrating. We went from paying approximately $160.00/mo unbundled, two companies to approximately $170.00 a month, bundled, one company (the $119.00 deal did include more channels than we previously had but unbundled would have cost more). Had not wanted to go with AT&T from TW but had few choices where we live. We are truly trying to decide whether to go without at this point. Hate to see what the price will be after our "special deal" expires in two years.
