"Working with
was an absolute delight. The original scope of work included built-ins for our office which we eventually nixed, but we really" wanted to do a window seat in the bay window area of our dining room to take advantage of the space. The space is not small, roughly 10 feet across, and true to most homes built in the 1800's, contains no right
(including baseboards). This type of complex project was completely in
's wheelhouse as his dedication to detail was absolutely necessary to get the exact measurements. His proposal and schematic drawings were easy-to-read, detailed and timely delivered. The actual project involved taping off the dining room from the kitchen and other areas of the house as nearly all staging, cutting, etc. of the woodwork was done in the dining room and there would be a lot of dust and debris. Prepping for this looked like a crime scene with a lot of heavy duty tape and plastic sheeting put up, and it took a bit of time but was completely worth it from a clean up perspective. I believe altogether the actual construction took 2-3 days (this was a couple years ago) but we couldn't be more pleased with the end result. The piece really looks like original construction, down to the baseboards and molding details, and we've gotten countless compliments on how wonderful it looks and works.
might not fall on the economy/budget end of the pricing spectrum but his work commands his rate. We would absolutely work with him again, and recommend him to anyone! PS His annual newsletter updates are incredibly entertaining also.

"We picked out the countertop finish we wanted (laminate) and
came out and measured for us. Then they delivered the countertops (2) and helped" us bring them inside to place over our cabinets. Later we also updated our master bath, and we went to them again to see if they could order the tile we needed to replace some broken pieces. The sales person said they could not help, but then
took a look and just happened to have a box of left over tile that was a perfect match! I asked how much, and he did not charge us - very generous and really helped us out! They also ordered a bath vanity to compliment our existing tile and it still looks great nearly 12 years later!

Not really.  If the contractor is very careful and you are really lucky he might be able to pull them out and then reinstall them after the new cabinets are installed.  A lot of this will have to do with how well the counters were installed in the first place.  Also, the existing countertops may not line up with the new cabinets exactly in some areas as well as they do now.  The better option is to have the cabinets refaced, leaving the boxes and tops in place.  Unlless you have deteriorating particle board cabinets you should be able to get a carpenter to do this.  If you decide to remove the countertops and install new cabinets factor in new tops and be pleasantly surprised if they can be reinstalled afterall.  Realize you probably won't find a contractor willing to gurantee not damaging the tops.  If you do, dig in and research him well.  He likely doesn't have enough experience.

IF dirty enough to make for a musty odor, then paint won't stick to them properly anyway. Paint is not your solution - you probably need a Deep Cleaning. Try to pin down what types of smell it is - if damp, mildewy; rotten food; or musty fabric - will help guide you to the source maybe. Another thing to do is keep all doors closed for a full day when outside temp is such that furnace and A/C can be turned off - then walk around the house, sniffing - preferably with 2 people - and see if one room is the major contributor. I have played this game, and found all the following as sources of musty smells: 1) linen in a closet without ventilation going slightly mildewy 2) water leak in walls or floors enough to cause mold but not drywall staining or visible water 3) carpets needing cleaning 4) water leak in bath or kitchen leaking under floor, causing mold there which is not pronounced in smell because under the flooring 5) attic mildew/mold from leaks or moisture condensation on insulation/wood 6) moldy plants outside - left in garden/flower bed in fall, so rotted in winter/spring 7) clothes in closets touching outside wall, so in very cold weather acted as insulator and let freezing front come to inside of wall, causing frost and moisture to buildup there from the inside moisture, eventually causing mildew/mold (same process as condensation/ice on inside of windows with curtains over them) 8) failure to clean behind kitchen appliances and under sink, or under washer/dryer/dishwasher at least when repaired or changed out 9) heavy lint accumulation in bathroom fan going mildewy 10) grease trap in kitchen exhaust fan never cleaned 11) washing machine going moldy - run a cycle of towels or such with bleach and Borax 12) the number one cause I have found - clothes stacked in closets or hope chests or such for decades get very musty even if clean and ventilated

As long as the counter is big enough Corian is one of the easier ones to work with. Since it does not have the ground or crushed stone that some of the other material have you can work with normal woodworking tools. A saw with a fine tooth carbide blade and a professional grade router with the proper shaped carbde bit can be used if the edge needs finishing. A belt sander helps on cuts also. The only problem you might have is if you need the joint kits for seaming as I dont think you can buy them.

When Corian first came out I could buy the slabs and fabricate my own tops and then Dupont went to a certified distributor system and would no longer sell to those of us that had been working with it for years. I will admit that they did have reasons for this as not all that were working with the product were doing it right.

Custom Cabinet Making reviews in Broken Arrow

Excellent experience. We stopped by the shop on a Saturday just to browse and get an idea of what they had in stock and see approximately how much it would cost us for us to have approx. 60 sq. feet of granite counter installed. They followed us home that day and did a template so they could give us an estimate, then provided us with their estimate by the first of the week. They came out as soon as we had the cabinets installed to make the template. We had made some slight adjustments but the price remained as quoted. We were scheduled 2 weeks out for the install, but the guy doing the template said it was too long for us to be without a counter and sink and he would try to get us scheduled sooner - which he did, within 1 week. The counters are gorgeous. Unfortunately we had to have 2 seams due to the size of the counters one one side which included a peninsula. If there was one thing I could change it would be to have the seams in a different location but because of our ceiling heights and the room they needed to get the granite in and set, it wasn't possible. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone considering granite countertop installation - they have alot of options in stock and they are both the supplier and fabricator, thereby cutting out the middle-man. Great company.

Everything was great and the company was very responsive at first. Then I met with
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
for them to create a design and to give them the down payment of the costs. After that point, the company was unresponsive. The day the work was suppose to start, they were only there for 4 hours and only did about 1/2 of what they were supposed to do. The cabinets that were put in were all incorrect. They were not finished, they were the wrong size and they were not joined together properly. I called
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
and he sent his guy back out and worked for about another hour. He did not seem happy about having to come back out for the second time. They did a slap happy job and then they left. I contacted
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
again and came the following week. He had to remove the cabinets, he took one back to his shop to rework. He came back to install them. They still were not joined together properly. I spent hours working on them myself to get them to look presentable. On the first day this company also broke my oven range hood and my oven door. The oven door has been repaired but the oven range hood still has not been replaced. There is a big scratch on my floor when he moved the fridge around. I saw him do this and he said that "it is what it is" and that its there. He sprayed it with polyurethane. I informed him by e-mail that my floor guy looked at it and did an estimate to repair it. At the beginning of this project
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
stated it would take 1 week and a few days to complete. It has been almost a month and my kitchen is still not finished. Yesterday he installed my hardware. Out of the 10 drawer handles, there was only 1 that was level and centered. Some are off center by an inch or more.

Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to any questions, design changes, and changes needed because contractor made some major errors. They had tough scheduling problems because the general contractor, against Rimrocks' and my wishes, made them put the cabinets in before any flooring was done. They even returned to help with the dishwasher problems caused by floor tile installed after the cabinets---which made the hole too small in the dishwasher base cabinet.

put out a lot of brush fires during this new home kitchen installation, and

guys worked very hard inspite of it all! There was also a delay in ordering the cabinets because of contractor financial mismanagement & lack of honesty, but

Going with
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
& Design was hands down the best home renovation decision we’ve made to date!
Prior to going with
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
, we shopped for over a year for someone to work with us on a full kitchen remodel. We had grand visions and a constrained budget. We solicited opinions from numerous reputable kitchen designers and contractors alike. Being an older home, we were looking to break out of the non-ideal 1960’s layout and hoped for a more open design. However, every designer simply tried to fit new cabinets into our existing space. Most consultations resulted in mediocre proposals and astronomical quotes. The designers and contractors just didn’t care enough to spend the time and effort to come up with the ideal layout for our dream kitchen. We felt like a number at a used car dealership, and were one consultation away from giving up on the entire renovation.

. Within 10 minutes of walking into our old kitchen, he had concrete layout ideas and design suggestions that all others combined couldn’t suggest in a year. He listened carefully to all our ideas, helped us prioritize them, confidently proposed better and more budget-friendly alternatives, and wasn’t afraid to tell us when
something made no sense at all.
We were so impressed with the design proposal and

’s confidence behind everything that within a few short weeks had signed off on the final project plan, timeline, and costs.
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
and his entire skilled team were very flexible with us in all aspects and spent countless hours above and beyond the project to help pick décor and other essentials to complete our dream kitchen. The level of confident care, expertize, skill and attention will have us recommending

A good bit of time was spent on the actual measurements, which was what I expected. A follow,up visit was needed just to insure there were no errors. A week later the cabinet was ready for installation, as promised. Because of the fit the cabinet was brought in the house in separate pieces with two workmen who spent a couple hours getting it perfectly square and installed. This was a very good job! The cabinet looks exactly as I wanted. No one would be able to tell that this cabinet wasn't installed when the house was built.

Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
came to house measured space available and gave me suggestions on what could be done. made my choices and received free estimate. Was told installation would be in about one week. installer called night before to confirm appoinment. Installation went smooth and mess was cleaned.

Their designer,
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
, talked extensively to me about my needs moving from a larger house back east with basement and attic storage, and how to go about fitting things efficiently and conveniently into this one. She provided me with ideas, then working drawings, and then offered endless patience as I kept "remembering things" requiring her to make adjustments. The work provided by the
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
craftsman has literally transformed the house. Every
Broken Arrow Cabinet Makers Provider Name Locked
, every corner, every fitting, is perfect. It makes the older cabinetry in the house, which they replaced, look like bad fitting dentures! The crew who installed the cabinetry were superb also. They were professional, hardworking, and integrated seamlessly with two other crews doing work on the house (flooring and general construction). They also cleaned up each day, and took care to let me know what I could expect next. I was so impressed with their work that I asked them to do other work in my "new" kitchen, and have asked them to construct an entertainment center and dining room cabinets.

& crew were on time, efficient and very attentive to detail. The first crew tore out old cabinets and then the next crew was ready with the new cabinets. A painter was also on duty to caulk and touch up.
