"We asked
of Side Walk Dog Training to help us with our dog, Boru. We adopted Boru three months ago at age seven, and he had some serious" behavioral problems. What
accomplished with us was nothing short of miraculous. Boru couldn't be restrained when he saw other animals while on a walk. It took all of my strength to hold him back. He terrified our cat by chasing her around the house, and he jumped on visitors to our home -- just about knocking them over. After three hours with
, we had a completely changed dog. He sat a foot away from our cat, not making a move towards her. Even she began to relax. And things are just getting better as we progress with training Boru. It has been two weeks now, and he doesn't go near people at our door unless invited to. My walks with him are pleasant, and although it still takes a few treats to get him to ignore other animals, we are well on our way. In one word -- AMAZING! In eight words --
can teach an old dog new tricks!

Amazing information sometimes overwhelming.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
was honest upfront and great with the dogs. Sometimes I felt his classes were too full to get the attention we needed.

She is wonderful. I use her a lot for my dos. She is a pet professional as well as a K9 who helped train out dog to become such a loving family dog. I highly recommend her. She spends a lot of time with the dogs. I like that she trains us, as the owners, before she trains the dogs. it helps us be apart of things and helped break our adopted dog from his bad behavior. She also does full lifetime training sessions and anyone to go to help reinforce continuance training.

We have worked with
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
as a trainer for the last 10 years. Our 1st puppy had multiple behavior issues. At 2 months old, she would growl at us when we would come close. She could never settle down and relax.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
did a private session to help us work with her so she would be more relaxed and comfortable with us nearby. We also did basic puppy class and advanced puppy group sessions with our dog and
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
. We were able to enjoy 10 wonderful years with a well-trained happy dog due to
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
’s assistance.
When we got our 2nd puppy last year, we knew there was no one else we wanted to work with other than
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
. She is very good at what she does and has a wealth of knowledge. She observes and provides helpful feedback on things we do right and also assists to correct the things we need help with. She always made training fun for us and the dog. For any issue or question, she works with us to make sure we understand. We did group sessions with this new puppy also and as always
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
was great to work with and continued to challenge us to do the best we can with the pup.
When we got our 3rd puppy last week, we contacted her with questions on introductions to our existing dog and concerns for the new puppy’s possible separation issues.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
responded immediately and was able to do a private session to help us. We now have our homework of things to work on with the fur kids and we look forward to group sessions with

Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
was a fantastic teacher. He laid out a very
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
, but extensive plan for us and came every week motivated to help us teach our dog. The system he used gave us the framework to really teach our dog the obedience topics that we have always struggled with. He was always on time, very professional, and the benefit of doing the lessons in our own home just can't be beat. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing dog training.

We contacted
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
and I spoke to
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
. She was professional and responsive. She assigned
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
to watch our cats.
During my first meeting with
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
she seemed nice, but told me she didn't have much experience with cats. I showed her where we kept our cat carriers incase there was an emergency and she asked me why I was showing them to her. That made me a little nervous. She did say she would still stop by on Christmas if she could. I thought that was nice.
My parents checked on our cats twice while we were away. They had no food, so my parent refilled their bowl one of the days.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
emailed me when I was away and asked me if someone came to refill the cat bowls because they already had food when she came late one day. When we got back
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
left us the wrong keys and I asked her if she could bring me my keys. I told her when I would be home, but instead of knocking she left my keys outside my door with a post it note and some other keys that weren't mine. She said she would come back and pick up the rest of the keys. She never did and the keys are still sitting outside our front door.

Because we were having major work done on our house over the following few months, Meeko's training dwindled. I called
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
when the work on the house was finally done and told her that we needed her to come back. She came back last week and went over everything again showing us exactly when to do and how to respond to different situations that arise. We have been working with Meeko as
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
suggested and she is doing MUCH better. There was no charge for this return visit.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
gave us confidence and also let us know that she is always just a call or an email away.
Because it has been so cold, walks have become limited so
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
suggested that she come back again in April and practice outdoor walking with her there.
In just a few days, Meeko will wait by the door to go out and not try to leave until we say OK. She will sit and stay when the doorbell rings - although we need to keep training her to
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
jump up when we let people in the house. That said the difference is amazing.
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
is a wonderful trainer. She is kind and warm and understanding. And she LOVES dogs! I would recommend
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
and
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
to anyone who wants to have their dogs behavior improved - she's absolutely GREAT!

I was a little skeptical having read about how hard
Williamsburg Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
terriers are to train. But I decided to try their two week intense training. I dropped my dog off every morning and picked him up at night. They also have day care there so their were lots of dogs for him to play with when notin training. After the first week my dog was really starting to listen and do what I asked. They provided a private lesson with me and my dog. By the end of the second week not only was my dog fully trained but he had all the skills to pass the canine good citizen test. I was both surprised and pleased on how much my dog learned in such a short time.

We rescued a small mixed breed dog in November. After getting her home, we realized that she had some serious problems. Hysterical screaming barking at other dogs and people. We could not get her to settle and be quiet. We had a difficult time trying to read when she wanted to go "outside". We were successful most of the time. We were in trouble with this dog and new it. This was not our first dog...we've had Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Beagel in the past as puppies and no difficulty. I
searched for dog trainers on line in the Cleveland area...most were either just group classes or guys with military experience training dogs. Pat offered a lot of choices on her web site. Puppy Training, Rescue Training, Behavioral Training, Group Classes,
Pack Training, and Canine Good Citizen classes. We emailed Pat and explained to her the problems our rescue was having. She asked us to call her to see if she could fix our issues over the phone. That was a nice no charge offer. We talked and decided to have Pat come to the house for our training sessions. The first session was over two hours and put us and our rescue on the right track. The remaining lessons always lasted longer that the scheduled hour. Our rescue learned to quiet after we let someone in the door, learned to play with visitors dogs, learned to walk and ignore other dogs. Our rescue can sit, stay, down, come, and wait when we open a door and go out or in first. Most of all no issues with going "outside". She loudly lets us know when it is time. She paid attentiuon to Pat and has us trained very well. Our rescue is a love, will chase and fetch a ball all day, loves to cuddle and is a welcome member of the famiy thanks to Pat.
