"It went really well. Right away you get this feeling that he is interested in knowing why you came to see him and what your expectations are. He took the time not only to listen to" your concerns but also to explain his treatment plan.

"I have been in a recent rash of bad Dr. appointments lately. This was truly a breath of fresh air. He actually took the time to talk with me, listen and seemed genuinely interested" in why I was there. I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line. I hesitate to post such a good review for fear that I won't be able to get into him when I really need to. Dr. Christiason is one of the good ones.

"She is polite and professional and doesn't rush through the exam. She referred me to a specialist for the pain, and he diagnosed me with a double hernia and corrected it with" surgery. Overall, the visits have been uneventful, but she seems to be a good doctor, the waiting time is minimal, so I have no complaints.

Dr. Saksena is the best general physician I have ever worked with. I am prediabetic with borderline cholesterol, so she has me in every quarter to keep an eye on my condition. She is smart, compassionate, competent and very tuned in during our sessions. She takes all the time she needs with me, and I never feel rushed. She has an easygoing manner and laughs easily. However, she takes her job (and my health) very seriously, and I have had great confidence in her advice and her ability over the years, coming with her to her new practice from her previous one. I could not recommend her more strongly.
The practice itself (a relatively new one) is clean and bright. The clerical staff was helpful and cheerful. And the nurse who took my blood was one of the best stickers I ever had: didn't even feel the needle go in! This was a great visit.

Blood work done on first appointment. I had to call to follow up and called 2-3 times. On my follow up, I was told that I had B12 deficiency but it wasn't definitive that was the reason for my fatigue. I was told I also could possibly have mono virus but not sure. I was given a follow up appointment in a month. Asked to take B12 supplements and D3. I had to send a follow up email to ask for recommendation on B12 dosage because I was not told during the appointment.

Dr.
Wauseon Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
is outstanding. She listens, discusses reasonable and is willing to take the time with her patients. I am very pleased to have found her. I especially like the open communication we have through My Chart. It is very helpful and makes me feel like I can have a conversation or give updates without an office visit. Convenient and pleasant.

Short explanation: Office did not explain fees. Office did not thoroughly explain treatment. And Dr. dismissed the notion that my fever and pain could have been caused by his treatment advice.
Billing: Nobody had advised me prior that the blood work was going to be $20 dollars if performed in the office. My insurance pays for my lab work if completed at LabCorp and I therefore refused to pay. I explained this to the
Wauseon Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
who then waived the fee.
Results: Everything came back within range except my vitamin D levels. Someone from the office called and advised that I needed to take a vitamin D supplement and to find the one with the highest units but did not advise how many units I should be looking for. I started taking 5,000 units and within a few days I started having pains in my kidneys. I continued taking it for a few more weeks but the pain did not subside therefore I stopped taking them and went back to Dr
Wauseon Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
's office. They said I had a slight fever which indicated possible infection and it correlated with my kidney pain. I mentioned how I thought it might have been the vitamin D supplement but never did anyone ask me how many units I was taking. Dr
Wauseon Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
completely dismissed the idea that the pain and fever could have been caused by the vitamin D. He sent me to get an ultrasound done but we didn't find anything and by that time the pain had gone since I was no longer taking the supplement.
Conclusion: The office should have told me how much the blood work was going to cost and that I did not have to get it done in the office. I felt like the office should have been specific when suggesting how many units to take of vitamin D rather than "the highest you can find" and also the Dr. should not have dismissed the notion that the new pain was a result of the suggestion to take the vitamin D supplement.

My experience was excellent. I've known her years and she knows my daughter so that makes such big difference. we've had a long experience with her. She's very personable. She's down to earth. She listens to you. She's just easy to talk to and listens to you talk and spends a good deal of time with you. She's just awesome.

I'm very happy with it. They are easy to make an appointment with, very punctual and they care about what goes on and try to be very thorough. They have a messaging that gives you results of any blood tests or any information on the computer which is handy and you quickly get the results of any testing done.

I have used him for 20 years. He is an excellent diagnostician. He can check your symptoms and in a few minutes tell you what is going on. He is excellent in that, his wife is a nurse there, and that is one of the things that we talk out. He must be studying to see how to put symptoms together, and he never gets it wrong. I have called him at 8 in the morning, and I have told him that I was not feeling good, and I have been in his office at 9. His office is adequate, clean, and spacious. He is one of those kind of doctors that if he has to spend the time with you, he will spend the time with you. If he is dealing with someone that is complicated, and he has to spend time with you, we understand when he is running late. He doesn't rush you. His wife is excellent, and it is just the two of them. They are not young, new doctors, and he is just turning 60, so they have been doing this for a while. They are very organized.
