I was very comfortable having them in my home. It is very important to me to have people I trust to do work on my home. I had to leave everyday during the remodel to take my son to work, and I would be gone around 30-60 minutes. I never had a second thought about leaving them, or one of their subcontractors, in my home with no one else there. They were always on time and cordial. My bathroom looks 100% better than it did before they started, and I thought the price was very fair, much better than the other estimates I received. I will be having them come back to replace all of the plumbing in my home.
already gave me a quote of $1500 for that, which I thought was really great! I would recommend
to my family and friends.

American Home Shield sent out D & B Plumbing for a leak under my kitchen sink. They called to schedule service with in 2 hours of the trouble call being placed. They were here the next day right on time. He told us that the leak was from where the water line for the fridge was connected. He quickly repaired the problem and cleaned up. He was friendly and efficient.

Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
is extremely professional and very fairly priced. He calls back in a timely manner, fits us into his schedule quickly and does quality work.
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
arrives on time and has a friendly and polite manner (wiped his feet every time he had to go outside in the snow). He works quickly and offers expert and reasonable advice.
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
was honest about his knowledge limitations regarding our well and offered us a referral to a trusted colleague when he couldn't offer his own expertise (who we were equally impressed with) . We have been so happy with his work that we've asked for his help twice now and if the need arises, will go back to him again in the future. I have already recommended him to friends and family in the area and would do so again in a heartbeat.

Called H&S for a leaking water heater. My wife gave them all the information for the current water heater that was installed and H&S came the next morning. He went down to the basement and came back up and said the water heater needed to be replaced but he had the wrong one on the truck as we needed a power vent. It felt like he was telling me that we didn't give the right information over the phone, but I said we gave the model and SN number of the current one, he said that doesn't give them everything they need. We don't know what information they need, they should ask. He gave me the price of the installation and I wanted to know a breakdown of cost and know what specific water heater he would be using. He said they only charge by the job and could not give a breakdown, which was fine. He then gave me a quote for a customer supplied water heater install and noted that any extra costs would not be covered by that and would be an additional charge. It also seemed like a problem to give me the exact model of the water heater that would be installed. I know there isn't a lot of difference in this area between manufacturers but what if I wanted a water heater with a longer warranty.
He then called the office and said that he could do it today for an additional charge of having to go somewhere and pick up the water heater or he could come back the next day for no additional charge. I chose to have him come back the next day since we weren't without hot water. He was there bright and early the next morning ready to complete the job. I left him alone to do his thing and it took him about 3.5 hours total to get in and out. He had left a trail of snow and mud through our kitchen and basement from his shoes. He cleaned up what was in the kitchen but we had to vacuum what was in the basement and stairs up. Probably have some booties or do something to protect the customers home in the future. We also have noticed that the power vent on the new water heater is

than the previous one.
Overall I was pleased with the service, I believe the price was probably a little high. I did not get any other quotes but in the future probably will. I also would like to be given more options when it comes to what products are being installed.

This was a special offer on Angie's List that I purchased. I requested the 1st appointment of the day as I was hoping to miss as little work time as possible. The 2-man crew arrived at the scheduled time and performed the work quickly and efficiently. There was no

cost. I was back at work by 11 am

very good. Space was very tight and required moving of water meter / water heater and rerouting of gas lines to furnace. Work was done as planned - within cost and time estimates. Work area left clean after completion of work. Service personnel were very professional and explained everything throughout the process and after completion.

He understood what I wanted, and he knew he could do it. He did good work, but the painting could have been a little better. He didn't prepare some of the surfaces as well as he should have.

I was very happy with their work. They are the most reasonable plumbers around this area. When the city came to inspect they didn't find anything wrong with it. The workers were pretty nice.

I called
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
at approx 11:00 am and he was at my door at 4:45 PM the same day!
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
impressed me upon arrival in his fantastic truck and had all the necessary parts and tools stocked. He was very professional yet, also, very personable. During the repairs he found a few other things that needed "tweaked" and fixed everything. This was a first class operation and a first class plumber. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

In June 2013 a visiting friend smelled gas in our house; we called Vectren. The Vectren service person said there was a leak, serious enough to turn off the gas service. In addition, the Vectren person said she saw no evidence of a gas utility inspection after
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
completed their work, done in September 2012.
We called
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
to request a service call ASAP. They responded quickly; a manager-level person came. He and another
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
employee spent three days to find the leak(s) - FIVE OF THEM. Each leak was in the fittings between the first floor subfloor and the basement ceiling. Also, the line running to the future site of a tankless water heater had no cap. They told us that the person who performed the initial work was no longer with the company.
So, our concerns:
- Not mentioned yet in this discussion: The reporting of the gas leak was the day after an
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
employee did a spring inspection
of our air conditioning system. We realized later that these leaks had probably been in existence, but we hadn't smelled them. We
were disappointed that the
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
employee hadn't noticed a problem the day before our gas service was turned off.
- The discovery that no gas utility inspection had been completed after the initial work in September 2012.
- The seriousness of the leaks.
- We feel as if our lives and our home were compromised by the initial sloppy, inattentive work.
- We received no apology from Ed or his staff, beyond our interaction with the manager-level person who helped to rectify the leaks.
- On the positive side:
- We were not charged for the corrections.
-
Troy Plumbers Provider Name Locked
staff began working on the leak problems right away, and pursued solutions in as timely a manner as was possible for
them. Evidently finding the leaks was quite a challenge.
- After all leaks fixed, a Vectren service person came to perform the utility inspection, passing

staffs' work. Coincidently,
she was the same person who turned off our gas at the beginning of this story, so she knew what to examine.
