Strongsville Veterinarians Reviews

"With multiple pets regular appointments and dental visits, my annual vet bills were well in excess of $2,00/year, and I used this vet for multiple years. Even with that, I got "attitude" from the reception area when requesting copies of my pets files prior to a move -- on top of that, I was told I needed to "schedule" such a request (even though they were NOT busy at the time) and that I would be charged $30 for the file copies. That being said, the vet techs I experienced were always wonderful, and the vet was busy but always kind as well. They DO need to work on their pricing, retention, and handling of multiple pet households ... it is never wrong to express appreciation for those that are spending so much per household and keeping them in business!"

"I had some severe problems with them. They charged me for extensive tests which I felt were not necessary. They charged me $800 for a tooth extraction. After that, my son, who has a dog, had similar problems. They made incorrect diagnosis and went through extensive tests that were not necessary. Recently, my daughter took her cat there which had a infection in her foot. They claimed that it was cancer. They wanted to go through extensive testing including a biopsy and charged my daughter for a tremendous amount of extra work that was not necessary. Then my daughter took her cat to another vet and it turned out to be a

infection. My main problem with them is the amount they charge and in inappropriate diagnoses they make.

"This is one of the best veterinary clinics I have ever been to. I've had enough bad experiences to know when I have a good and caring vet.

"They did an excellent job of taking care of our cat during and after the procedure. Excellent follow-up by the doctors and staff after the procedure calling us at home to ensure the well being of the cat."

"Dr.
Strongsville Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is extremely patient with my dog, taking into consideration she was previously abused. Dr.

has the same care and concern for her. Both vets do follow up calls and have returned calls the same day. The support staff is amazingly efficient, caring and compassionate. I've been going to crossroads for about 9 1/2 yrs."

"Very responsive to questions over the phone with pets shes had experiences with. Has refilled prescriptions over the phone without requiring an office visit. Reasonable prices too."

"Dr. Sorm performed a physical exam, and asked lots of questions about the recent episodes. She took blood and gave our Golden Retriever anti nausea meds until we got the results of the blood work on Monday. I've been taking my dogs to Dr.
Strongsville Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
Sorm for 7 years. She is fantastic with the animals. She is gentle and kind to them, she talks to them, and her love for animals is very apparent. She is the only vet I've ever been to that provides a very long questionnaire when you first visit to determine what kind of relationship to you have with your pet. Is it a family member -- or just a dog/cat? She asks you how much diagnostic information you want -- minimal or in depth details. I appreciate that she gears her service to customer needs and wants. She is very thorough, but also takes a cautious approach. I've always felt she ordered necessary tests -- but didn't go overboard to drive up the price. I also love the elevator exam table for large dogs. It is fantastic! The table is lowered and the dog gets on, with a push of a button the table is raised to exam height. It sure beats trying to pick up a 70-100 lb dog to get it on the exam table (which I've experienced at other vets -- and it upsets the dogs) or crawling around on the floor, which is never going to be really clean with on-going patient traffic. If you are looking for a vet that wears a pristine white lab coat with their name embroidered on their chest, this is NOT the vet for you. Dr. Sorm is very low key, dresses extremely casually, as in working in the yard casual. I presume because she is taking care of the animals. She does not have a huge staff. Dr. Sorm is not the most talkative person. But she is professional, focusing on her work and taking care of the pets. She knows my husband and me, and is friendly with us, and we joke with her. She knows our dog history, and is very sympathetic to what we've been through losing our previous Golden to cancer. I would recommend Dr. Sorm to anyone. She's a kind, knowledgeable, and excellent with pets.

"The doctor and vet tech were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr

explained everything she was doing and asked permission before doing any procedure. I was very happy with the service. The price was high but the quality of care was high too.

"Waiting area not clean, exam rooms not clean, not very personable. Care plan was far from optimum. Would not take my pet(s) there again. I have no confidence in this vet.
