"Really well! I had researched through Consumer Reports, True Car and
to find average pricing. Then I used my AAA membership to find a participating" AAA dealer. Contacted FF and
returned my email inquiry very quickly. I had been VERY detailed in original communication what I wanted and color, trim, etc.
replied he could have it in lot with a day's notice and gave me the AAA pricing right in the email. I didn't have to come in to find out what it was, I didn't have to call. I didn't have to DO anything to be informed of the price. Good price, too. Sticker was 38035 (yes, I wanted EVERYTHING). AAA pricing after about 1500 in Ford promotional stuff is 32162. All these number are before tax, title, license, registration. Asked via email about extended warranties. No secret there either! 7 years and 100k miles, bumper to bumper, zero deductible; $2900. So I make appointment for a Friday mid morning. He tells me to ask for
. I'm a little confused on the names. But, whatever. I planned to go from dentist office after having a tooth pulled. Figured my day was shot anyway. Lump all the painful into one day, right? I get there.
is waiting and WATCHING for me. No meed to hunt him down!! He explains he and the OTHER
are teammates and the OTHER
has brought Brain the second up to date because this is
the first's day off. Ok. Whatever. My jaw hurts and I'm drooling. I wish him luck. I drop the bomb that I am trading in my 2008, 160k miles, Ford Focus. Between you and me; it is worthless. The engine will go any day. He sends the "guy" out to evaluate it. I'm offered 1k for it. I shrug. Ask him what his best offer is... He disappears, comes back; 36k all in. I say I want the Escape on trade with the extended warranty and ALL the tax, title, license, and registration for 33.5 or I'm taking another deal at Hyundai for 33.9 (I lied, it's a CAR dealership- don't hold it against me!). So, it should be 32k (AAA pricing) + 3k (extended warranty) + 2k (about that for ttlr) - 1k for trade= roughly 36k. Disappears again, comes back, 34k. Sold. The in person negotiations took maybe 20 minutes. No pressure. No sign here first. No nothing. Now, getting the financing paperwork, the vehicle detailed... Patience. But, I was enjoying the drugs from dentist anyway. All in all, darn nice dealership, coordination, teamwork, professionalism. Yeah, I'd send a friend over!!

For sale, here is another answer I previously gave to same type question -

Sounds like your biggest problem will be narrowing your list to a limited number of models, and deciding what brand names you are willing to consider to narrow the field.

You can search for websites blogging complaints for each model you are considering to see how they rate with users, and you can also go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at     www.nhtsa.gov     to see how many recalls there have been on a specific model and year.

Most dealers these days have websites with their listed prices for new and used cars that you can browse to get an idea of available listed prices.

I would also recommend that you check out the used car values (free) for models you might be interested in on    www.edmunds.com    and on Kelley Blue Book  -  www.kbb.com

Those 2 sources will give you a lot of negotiating power, because they list what the dealer pays the manufacturer on new cars, shows what people have been paying for each vehicle model and model year, and shows used valuations also. There are undoubtedly other such sources also - these are just the ones I have used and seem to be the best known.

Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
’t walk away from
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
in Homosassa Fl., RUN. I am in Afghanistan and the primary car my wife drives around in with our three kids is getting old and has high mileage so we decided to trade it for a newer one so I would not have to worry about them sitting on the side of the road while I am so far away. My wife loves our MDX so much she wanted the same car so we found a newer one with the options we wanted and it was over a 2hr drive so she decided to call over the phone to get the details worked out so she was not sitting at the dealership for hours with three kids after driving for two hours. The first red flag was it took two days to hear back (I figured ok they are busy and making all the sales they could with people in the store and I was not in a rush). Then they came back with the deal but said they could not accept the power of attorney (that my wife just used to buy a house for us) for the vehicle we wanted but they would accept it for a 2014-15 Volkswagen (Second Red Flag). When my wife asked the finance manager why he said it is because the bank (Wells
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
) said that not them. She said that makes no sense and the finance manager said it does not have to (W**). My wife preceded to ask well can you contact them to see if there was a mistake, to which the finance manager replied no I will not do that (with the lack of customer service and attitude my wife was getting from the finance manager she hung up on him). So in order to help things along my wife called Wells
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
herself since we have our other car finance through them already and asked what was going on. Wells
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
said yes they see the loan request and it was approved for a Power of Attorney without any stipulations (Third red Flag). So my wife called the finance manager back and told him and he still refused to contact Wells
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
to sort the problem out (again W**). So she called me upset and disappointed to say she gave up and we would have to wait till I come home (I cannot come home until January and like I said she wants a specific set of options, so the exact MDX would have to be sitting around at the right time since I will only be there for a week before I return to Afghanistan). So I tried to avoid all the lower management issues and called and asked to speak to the General Manager. I was told he was in a meeting so I could leave a voice mail. I left my message with my concerns and asked him to call me anytime he could before the time I was calling since I am on the other side of the world and his day is my night. Well after 24 hours went by I called back he was with a customer so they could transfer me to his voice mail again. So that made my decision right there the customer service at
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
does not exist at the top so of course it was not at the bottom either. So I let him know by him not calling my decision was easy and I would be writing this review to post anywhere I can so everyone knows how
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
treats veterans. About midnight my time he decided to call and leave a message that he has been out of town the last two days and that is why he could not return my call (and again W** they said you were in a meeting so either he is lying or his staff tells people the wrong info on purpose). His message again says it is not them but the bank.

The car was bought in 2013, with a warranty already on it from 2012. June 21, 2015 the car broke down on the side of the road and the car was towed to the nearest Fiat dealership. The dealer told us it would cost 1600 to fix, even though the car is still under warranty. I spoke with the owner and he said he could bring the cost down to 1300 but refuse to honor the warranty. I wrote a letter to head of operations and they even still refuse to honor the warranty. They said the warranty on the clutch had expired, which was true. But the car still had an extended warranty on the entire car and the dealership is claiming that the extended warranty does not cover the clutch.

Due to the corrections, the BMV would not process my transactions. When I questioned them, they stated they wouldn’t have processed my paperwork, even if I hadn’t made the corrections, since the spelling of my name of the Bill of Sale did not match my IN driver’s license. 27-Feb-2015: I contacted
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
& Sales via email, regarding the issues with the Bill of Sale. Other than driving to the BMV, the truck sat in my driveway, from the time it was delivered, because I did not want to drive it until after it was plated. 11-Mar-2015: The corrected Bill of Sale paperwork arrived from

Wood Toyota, on the west side of Indianapolis, for a used car check. Before they started checking the truck, service desk personnel searched for outstanding recalls. They told me, in October 2014, the previous owner took the truck to a Toyota Dealership and Toyota determined ‘the frame was bad’ having rusted completely through in spots. Upon hearing this, I asked them to cancel my appointment and returned home. {Later, while speaking on the phone with Toyota Corporate, I was informed the infamous frame prematurely rusting through issue, was not a mandated recall, but instead a voluntary “service campaign” (I can’t remember the exact terminology they used), but this campaign had expired in December 2012.} 02-May-2015: I contacted
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
& Sales, via eBay messaging, stating I’d discovered the truck needed a total frame replacement. Alemsa Ajdar replied, asking me to call them. Initially, I didn’t call since I wanted everything in writing, and I thought I’d provided all of the information Precison needed. 07-May-2015: At Alemsa Ajdar’s request, I phoned

stated the 15-year extended warranty went into effect at the time Toyota either: Sprayed the frame (if the frame had not deteriorated to the point that it needed replaced) or Replaced the frame. Since Toyota had not done either of these, he believed the 15-year extended warranty would not apply. Nonetheless, as a last resort, he emailed someone at Toyota Corporate, sending pictures of the frames condition.
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
stated he would hear back from Toyota Corporate with a final ‘ruling’ within 48 hours.
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
also stated total frame replacement would cost ~$10-$11,000, which is more than the truck was worth. 15-May-2015: Given everything that had transpired, I was fairly certain Toyota was not going to cover the cost of replacing the frame, so I contacted
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
Ramizi of
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked

Other than the frame, that I loved the truck and would love to keep it, but realized the $11k was more than the truck was worth. If Precision wouldn’t pay for the frame replacement, then I asked Precision to reimburse me for all costs associated with obtaining the truck (and once their payment had cleared, I’d gladly sign the title over to Precision). Based on the extent of the frame rot, it appears;
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
& Sales was aware of the frame’s condition prior to listing it on eBay and misrepresented the truck when they sold it to me

The frame’s condition was omitted and not disclosed to me: (1) In the auction listing verbiage*** (2) Through the 91 photos of the truck attached to the listing (a few of the wheel well, close-up pictures, appear to show the darker/newer looking spray – which lead me to believe, the frame hadn’t been bad enough for Toyota to replace, but instead Toyota had treated it with the spray to protect against rust as part of their “service campaign”)*** (3) In any of the sale paperwork*** (4) During the few phone conversations I had with
Somerset Car Dealerships Provider Name Locked
Ramizi (and I believe, 1 phone conversation I had with Alemsa Ajdar)*** (5) During any of our email correspondence (via eBay messaging and personal email).*** ***I have copies of and would be happy to provide all of the following: the sale paperwork, the auction photos, screenshots of the eBay auction listing, and email correspondence (both personal and eBay messaging).

The salesmen were unfriendly and unhelpful. They wouldn't even acknowledge us because we brought in an old Saturn for a trade. When I went in for service, they tried to add in a bunch of things that didn't need to be done and I stopped going to that facility.
- Walter W.

I think it went well considering we decided to wait until next spring to purchase a new vehicle. The salesperson went over the many options and was straightforward with everything. He was not pushy and there was no high pressure sales practices, we didn't feel pressured to buy a vehicle right now. This was one of the best experiences I've had dealing with a car dealership, and will more than likely go back in the spring to purchase a vehicle.

OK-but, they checked off that they checked the air filter, but dust on the cover tells me they did not. There are 2 recall notices out on this vehicle, they tell me 1 applies only to certain areas of the country and parts are not available for the other. When I called Ford Motor company customer service, they confirm the lack of parts for the 1, but said the dealer should perform the other, customer service tried to call the dealer and got no answer!
Previously I was told tires needed to be replaced and while they were within the warranty of the original equipment guarantee, they would not assist in getting the warranty compensation. I went to Discount Tires and they saved me $260.
