Pickerington Window Installers Reviews

"Provided great description of what we would receive. Ordered products and arrived on time. Installation was done professionally. We did have a minor problem and they responded immediately to take care of the problem.
"From the moment we met "Butch" I knew I would use

was pricier than others, but their customer service was/is TOP NOTCH and that goes a long way for me.
Butch was so approachable and likeable. He never tried to upsell us anything. He loves the product and it shows. He followed up with us several times over the months between the estimate and us finding financing.
Butch understood our desire to keep the look of our older home and talked us through the options. Jalousie windows have a very unique look to them and there is nothing on the

today that even comes close, but he showed us some options that worked for us.
Once we got approved things moved quickly. They measured the windows twice, two different guys, to make sure everything was accurate. I loved this!
I loved knowing these windows were made right here in Columbus.
About two weeks later we got the call that the windows were ready and they wanted to install. This process was amazing. We had a four man crew in our house from 8 am till 8 pm. It was a long day for them but the were determined to install in one day. They were efficient. We were in and out all day and I never observed any laziness. They worked like mad ALL day.
They apologized frequently for being there late. And they cleaned up all their messes when they were done. They hauled out all the old windows for us as well.
I am still getting used to my new windows. They look sooooooo different from my old aluminum ones, but I am excited. I cant wait to see my heating costs this windows.
I do not regret for one minute paying a little more for a better quality product and top notch customer service. Love

"Bill's crew did a very nice job, and quickly too. I couldn't have asked for a better living area for my mother and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future."

was hard to get a hold of and return calls. Once we did get a written estimate and a start date. The workers were friendly and respectful; they cleaned up each day after completing work. It was December, so on the cooler side. But they were careful to minimize the time that the house was exposed to the exterior temperatures. The job was estimated to take two days, it took four. When the work was completed, we were dissatified with exterior trim that gapped an inch on most corners.

was reluctant to admit to the poor quality but convinced to repair the work. He repaired it and it looks wonderful. The interior trim has gaps at the corners which will require putty (we are doing the finishing), the corners should have met better. The sliding function of the window The windows are large and it was suggested that that might be the case. But is it because of the size or the workmanship? I don't know the answer.
"We had ordered the windows and we got the windows that we had ordered. The windows came in, in December. I told them that I didn’t want them installed in December because of Christmas. It just wasn’t worth it and I thought that I would rather wait until the weather cleared. In January they called me every three days to see if I was ready. So I finally told them to go ahead and install them. We still have windows that are haling and we still have litigation outstanding on them. Some of the windows that they ordered were of the wrong size and they tried to shove them in, which ended up breaking some of our wood work. They cracked some of the stucco which is common when you’re installing windows but their way of repairing it was just getting our stucco to peel off, and they got some concrete and flapped it up there on it. I would not recommend anyone to use them. They were responsive but it just got to the point where they weren’t really going to replace them. So they kind of walked away. We would not use them again in the future."
"I bought a big deal siding and windows package coupon and it was great because the company is also notified when you buy one, so they contacted me before I got a

to contact them to schedule an apt. I was very happy about that. One person came out and I asked that they focus more on the windows, caulking and resealing around the edges. He showed me what he did in the front, he said he also did the back windows but I didn't see the wet caulk there when I looked. Overall he was very professional and explained what he was doing and told me what I had to look for in the future. I was pleased"
"He did an excellent job cleaning, but he also gave me an assessment on the windows and seal, recommending which windows we might want to contact our builder about."
"Our contract was signed March 8 and the door was installed May 12, 2011. It took longer than I had expected. I needed to call several times in the process to see when completion would be done. Initially when we talked with the Salesman we let him know we were conerned about security and they did offer a very secure door but the price was prohibitive. There was to be a door handle lock as well as a bolt lock using the same key. When the door was installed I asked the installer if they would be using 3 to 3-1/2" screws as this is what the police department recommends. I was told they would be. After the door was installed I was given two keys. I mentioned that I thought we were to have one key for both locks but the installer indicated there were two keys. The salesman stopped by later that day and I mentioned this to him, and he said yes there was to be only one key but some how two different locks were provided. (I didn't understand this). I thought he indicated they would correct that. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing more from them so I called. They said they were getting a new lock and would let us know when it would be installed. Meanwhile I had taken the screw out of the lock and found it was a 3/4" screw. Very upset. When the new lock was delivered they were to also replace the screws. When the person came to fix this he asked to see the two keys we were given. THEY WERE THE SAME KEYS. I had never thought to check this out. You would think the company would have known this when the door was initially installed. Lesson learned, always check everything out while serviceman is there."
"Was sent to us by siding contractor because a window was cracked during the siding insulation. The contractor paid for the cracked window. While he was there we had him price and then replace an additional window that had a small b-b gun hole for years."
"They were able to do an estimate without me being home which was extremely convenient, I was also provided a discount price for mentioning Angie's List. The installation was scheduled a week later, due to my availability not theirs. The installer was on time and very polite, the company had called the day before and told me who would be coming to install the windows. It took about 2-3 hours to install all three windows including cleaning up. The windows look great and we were very pleased with the work."
