Had a great experience with
puttigf in a basement drainage system. So in another house we used them for their specialty: mold abatement. A pipe has burst and cause extensive damage, then mold. We had to call the better business's bureau to get them to finish the job. They left sheetrock unfinished -- I mean insulation showing-- they just didn't do it. They installed a floor that bugles up and bounces when you step on it. When they came back after months of calling, they did install the dry wall but the floor is a joke. To make things worse, the owner or main estimated is just rude. We're just simply afraid to ask them back yet again because he is so mean. So we'll end up having the floor redone at some point by someone else (I recommend o'
's in Easthampton. The folks who work there seem great, but pushed to move on quickly the next job. The experience was awful.

We stopped by their kiosk at a local music festival and gave our info so that they could come and do an estimate for two seeping cracks in our cement foundation. The first warning sign was when they called to set up an appointment and insisted on a time when both me and my husband could be home. This sounded sketchy to us but we went ahead and made an appointment. When their guy arrived my husband was home but I had to stay at work late and wasn't home yet. The guy was very angry and said he could not do the estimate unless both of us were home. My husband said he wasn't sure when I'd be home and the guy started to pickup and leave, complaining that we had wasted his time. My husband didn't take kindly to being reprimanded by someone who was supposed to be selling us on their firm and their product so he went off on him and their ridiculous policy of needing both spouses at home. The guy backed down and agreed to stay for the inspection/estimate. (I got home as he was doing his inspection.) After looking at the basement situation, he prescribed the most expensive of solutions which would involve digging a trench around the entire house and installing an elaborate drainage system. At a cost of five figures! He seemed taken aback when my husband told him we weren't interested because we couldn't afford it. Then he became angry again and it was difficult to get him out of our house. When he left we were both stunned at the hard sell tactics, the questionable estimate/recommendation and, frankly, what a total jerk the guy was. Two more things... Following the visit, we were bombarded with follow-up calls for months which only stopped when my husband threatened to report them. And it turns out their "solution" was not even the correct one. We later hired another firm to do an injection-type fix that has proven to be just what was needed -- at about 1/10 of the cost! This was perhaps the worst business interaction my husband and I have ever encountered.

Since buying our house in 2005, we had water seepage in heavy rain through eight foot vertical cracks on both the front and rear cement foundation walls. (House was built in 2002.) The seepage would increase to an actual flow in severe or lengthy rain storms. I had always been under the impression that such cracks could only be repaired from the outside due to hydrostatic water pressure. For the crack in the rear of the house -- which was the worst of the leaks -- fixing it from the outside would have been very difficult since it was under our deck. I had Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing come to do a quote. They confirmed that the only way to fix the leaks would be to dig a trench around the whole house and install a drainage system. Their quote was nearly ten thousand dollars! No, thank you. I became resigned to living with the problem and dealing with it if/when we sell the house. Then one day I came across a coupon in a direct mail packet from Attack a Crack. They advertised injected foundation repair from the inside! And their ad boasted of excellent Angie's List reviews. Sure enough, the reviews were great and I called
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
right away. He returned my call within the hour. I described the situation and he said that it sounded right up their
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. We scheduled an appointment for him to come for a free consultation. Within a couple of days he had inspected my basement and confirmed he could solve my problem for $1,500! And here's the kicker...it came with a lifetime guarantee which transfers with the house! Hallelujah!!! The appointment was set for a week later. It was to take a full day and neither my wife nor I could take a day off from work so I left the house unlocked for them to do the work while I was at work.
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
left me a voicemail that afternoon to tell me that the work had been done and all was well. When I came home I found that the cracks were now covered with a grey, rubbery substance about six inches wide all the way down the wall. Very neatly done! They attached their company info and the lifetime guarantee to the top of one wall. Of course we weren't going to know the real result until the next rain situation... Bottom line, we haven't seen a drop of water in our basement since they worked their magic. And there have been some major rain events this spring and summer. It's dry as a bone and what was once a major concern for us is now a thing of the past. Best $1,500 we have ever spent. I can't say enough good things about this firm and the work they do. don't hesitate to contact them.

My in-laws had purchased the house in 1959 and then 7 years after they had purchased it was the first time it started getting water in the basement. We had purchased the house in 2008, had a French Drain put on the outside perimeter of the house. This helped except for when the water table was high then my basement would receive water. I read very good reviews on Angie's List for Dry

Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the contractor utilized by
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
's Pool & Spa for installation. They prepared the ground and installed the above ground pool. The actual installation of the pool appears to be appropriate at this time. However, there was significant damage done to the lawn during the excavation. When the excess ground was moved a rut upwards of 10 inches was made through our lawn. Pictures of this were reviewed by

Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, I was told that this type of damage was to be expected. Initially, there was no offer to correct the damage without further payment. When I relayed that the payment check had been cancelled, there were some treats made by

Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
agreed to return for the cost of gas to fix the damage if the check for the initial project was repaid. After the conversation, I thought better of having

This was a big job. The salesman explained the job in detail so that I could understand. The price was more than competitive. They came on time and worked as a very efficient team. They completed their work in the 3 days they promised. They cleaned up to my wife's expectations. We had a serious all day rain the next day and no water in my basement....More /> Ask for

The salesman was extremely nice, stayed at our house for three hours, explaining everything in full detail. The work was scheduled to start on 5/17 and completed on 5/19 (Saturday-Monday). We were told the crew would come between 8-10. Saturday came and I hear banging on our front door at 7am. I guess early is better than late. The crew covered everything in the basement with plastic and the entrance to the basement as well. The supervisor stayed for maybe two hours and left. The crew stayed until around 2:30 or so, and when I asked them are they coming back tomorrow to finish they said no we will be back on Monday. If they came on Sunday as stated in the contract they would have more than likely finished and not have to come back on Monday so we would not have had to miss a day of work. So anyway let me get to the negatives of this experience. When they opened the window to the basement to pass the gravel and concrete thru, they pulled a piece of siding off, I needed to say something to them to put it back, they put one of the discharge pipes on the wrong side of the house, then they realized after I said something to them about this that it was on the wrong side, so then they had to relocate it. The bigger issue was and this was the main reason I called this company, we had an area in one of our crawlspaces that would leak like a waterfall when it rained, we were told these holes would be patched, there was also two holes in the mortar in the other crawlspace that you could see daylight through, when the job was complete, the first heavy rain came and the wall was still leaking, and the other two spots you could still see light thru. When I called to let them know I wanted this fixed, they asked if we could send photos, my husband then called to resolve this and to setup the "free" ozone treatment that was promised to us and was never setup by the company. Long story short, they finally sent a repair man out on
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
19th, to repair the holes they missed, and to run the ozone treatment. When the $16,000 job needed to be started they were ready to start that weekend, and it was no problem to get a crew to come out on a Saturday and Sunday, but when we needed things repaired (that were supposed to be fixed in the first place) it was a issue to get someone to come out on the weekend. All in all this entire ordeal has taken 2 months total for something that was only supposed to take 2-3 days to complete. The icing on the cake is when they jackhammered the floor they removed a board from the front of the bottom step, never put it back, and never put the support for our stairs back, so when ascending/descending the steps wobble. My husband is so fed up with this company he didn't even say anything about this, he will fix it himself. This company sends out a really nice salesman, to make you feel comfortable to drop this much money, but save it, there are better companies out there.

This is still work in progress but so far I'm very satisfied. I will be editing my review when job is completed.
So far, this company is one of the best home improvement contractors I've ever dealt with. Very professional from the sales person, the manager(owner) to the actual crew that is working in my house. Any issues that come up are resolved quickly and professionally. They started when they said they would. It is taking longer than promised but I kind of expected that. Hopefully it wont be too long.
They are not cheap but, compared
Oregon Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
other basement finishing companies, they are reasonable and so far have been very reliable.
