Hvac Reviews in Milford

Overall, the installation went very well. The two technicians during the install were very knowledgeable and professional. They completed all work the same day. The salesperson
was very responsive and professional. The only hiccup was that the furnace went out on a Friday and they were not able to schedule until Monday. However, they did provide free space heaters to use for the weekend. I can always count on
to install and complete a project quickly and professionally.

They were very timely, friendly and most importantly professional in their work. Our builder had installed the furnace prior to putting up the drywall so it was very difficult to access all the bolts that were holding the furnace in the wall. Unfortunately, the installer accidentally cut a water line while trying to remove the old furnace. He and his assistants however did turn off the water supply, drive to the nearest Lowes and get the appropriate materials and replaced our water line with new PVC and brass fittings. They cleaned up the floor of any and all traces of water. I appreciate all the hard work they did to make this job turn out well. We are very happy with our new furnace and heat pump (especially since spring only lasted a couple of days and we are expecting cold and snow again) and also very happy to have new water lines with new shut-off valves. I would definitely recommend
to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

Hvac reviews in Milford

I am not one for writing reviews especially bad ones but everytime I hear or see the

commercials I have to cringe .... even a year later! A little voice tells me I have to advise other people of my experiences so they know what to look for.
The following is a list of problems I encountered they are in no particular order. I was left with no executive phone number to call (even the salesman did not call me back) and there was no followup after the installation from any office person.
1)When the installer was putting in the drain line for the airconditioner he was drapping a clear plastic tube across my finished ceiling aiming for a drain sink. I told him that I did not like that but he said he needed a 3/4 inch drain. I showed him a 3/4 inch copper drain pipe 12 inches from the back of the furnace. He replied this is the way I

do it. They left me the parts to do it "any way I wanted". After the inspections I remover the tubing & sump pump and installed the pipe behind the furnace.
2)Their furnace adjuster showed up ther next day, he declaired the furnace was running perfectly within the first minute of seeing the installation for the first time. I asked how did he know that without any instruments or measurements. He pulls out an O2 meter and says "see, working great". I am not a trained furnace technician but I think there is a lot more to an oil furnace than a single measurement would indicate.
3)After 2 days I started to smell fuel oil. The Oil supply & return fittings that were not easy to get to were not tighened. Now all the fittings are oil tight.
4)When the installers were done they did clean up the littered mess they made in the furnace room, however, it was one of those snowy January days and the constant comming and going to the outside thru a recent snow left a thick coating of mud all over the room and out to the outside. I asked the installers what they were going to do about that. He replied we don't have anything to mop it up. Note the line in their brochure "When the installation is complete, we guarantee your home will be as clean as when we arrived" .
5)When I went to clean my floors that is when I discoverer that my painted cement floors were horribly scratched and chipped by the installers. Does that give you an idea of how much mud was left on my floors.?
6) When spring came, my mower found a large cement chunk and hurled it at the heat exchanger standoffs and broke one. First thing I did was to craw through the grass and find all the cement chunks (and brick pieces) that the installer left in my lawn. Rememer that we had a recent snow fall so the chunks must have been burried in the snow. Then I purchased 4 large ornamental cement blocks to elevate the heat exchanger.

How about installers smearing wet mud in my hardwood floors (in the living quarters) when installing the thermostat
How about large thru hole left in an outside wall. (The furnace adjuster did fix this)
You can tell I am upset by the R&B installation.

I called

around noon on Saturday and
Milford HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was at my house within the hour to take a look at my furnace. It was about 18 degrees outside and the furnace was failing to ignite and run properly, so we were very happy that he could make it out so quickly.

was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, and he checked everything thoroughly. The cause of the problem was not easy to diagnose, but he narrowed it down to a couple of potential issues and he was able to have our furnace running properly by the time he left about an hour later. He also made some recommendations and explained how certain changes could help the efficiency and proper operation of the furnace. The wife was certainly happy to have the heat running again, and so was I. I plan to call them again in the Spring for annual service of my AC / heat pump unit.

Technician arrived as early in the time window provided as possible. Given that we were getting heat turned back on to deal with a burst pipe flood, this was greatly appreciated. He performed the repairs and made some suggestions for upgrades to our system down the road. Overall, no complaints.

From my initial call to their arrival was less than two hours.

did a quick assessment and eyeballed everything that took just a few moments. He then went to work. Within about 30 minutes, he had heat up and running. I recognize it was just a small, easy job but they honestly told me and billed me as if it was a small easy job.

The installation was completed in a timely manner with very little impact on my routine. The installers were respectful and professional during their work in the house. They moved and replaced the furniture that was in the area where they had to work and removed all work debris. I would have liked if they had done a final clean up ..sweep up of the space they worked in. I needed to sweep up small debris including screws in the area. It was a minor hassle though. The important thing is the great difference this change in ducting has made in the comfort of out house. We have now had time to experience the difference this had made both in the heat of summer and in the cold winter months and it has made our second floor very comfortable and enjoyable to be in. This involves all of the second floor rooms including a small addition which was previously very uncomfortable.
The only thing I would wish went differently was the follow up after the first installation. There needed to be a second expert who had to come to the house to adjust the airflow to both floors and I assumed there would be a call from the company to set this up. When I had not heard after about a week I called and it was then managed.
The redesign has also not impacted the comfort of the first floor at all. I did have concerns we were going to be told we needed a bigger furnace or other more expensive options but this has completely resolved the issue. I have used this company in other situations and have always been happy with their work.

I corresponded via email and telephone with Bill a number of times regarding the specifics of the deal (installation details, make/model, etc.) -- Bill was exceptionally patient with me and answered all of my questions. A technician came over on Christmas Eve and installed the humidifier without incident (and even modified how it was installed to meet my requests). He even stayed longer to talk with my wife about some other HVAC issues in our house and provided some rough estimates. We were very pleased with the service, and we will certainly use

He was wonderful, checked out the A/C, which was leaking water, and proceeded to repair the problem. He was very friendly, professional, and capable. When I asked him how much it would be, he refused any payment, and said it was NOT a big deal, and he was glad to help.
Oh----I called about 3 providers that day, one of whom I had been using for the past 2 years. They gave me a date 3 days out.

said they could be there that day, and they came about 2 hours later - excellent response time.
I'll definitely use them when I need service again, including, buying a new heating system from them.

I have used five or more HVAC companies in the two+ decades I have lived in my house. Many of them have good ratings on Angie's List.

is by far the best. Their scheduling department was pleasant and efficient. The technician who did the service is a great credit to the company. He was polite, professional, tidy, conscientious, thorough, and honest about what work had to be done. He even asked if I wanted the filter changed because the one that was installed was still clean (I had replaced just a couple of weeks prior to the service). The technician could have easily just put in a new filter as I had shown him the box of extra filters. Instead, he took the time the come upstairs, show me the in-use filter and ask if I wanted a new one installed. This may be a fairly small thing, but I appreciated his effort.
The technician described all the payment plans in a factual and low key manner. I selected the monthly payment plan of approximately $16/month. I think I will be very happy with this.
