The following is a list of problems I encountered they are in no particular order. I was left with no executive phone number to call (even the salesman did not call me back) and there was no followup after the installation from any office person.
1)When the installer was putting in the drain line for the airconditioner he was drapping a clear plastic tube across my finished ceiling aiming for a drain sink. I told him that I did not like that but he said he needed a 3/4 inch drain. I showed him a 3/4 inch copper drain pipe 12 inches from the back of the furnace. He replied this is the way I
2)Their furnace adjuster showed up ther next day, he declaired the furnace was running perfectly within the first minute of seeing the installation for the first time. I asked how did he know that without any instruments or measurements. He pulls out an O2 meter and says "see, working great". I am not a trained furnace technician but I think there is a lot more to an oil furnace than a single measurement would indicate.
3)After 2 days I started to smell fuel oil. The Oil supply & return fittings that were not easy to get to were not tighened. Now all the fittings are oil tight.
4)When the installers were done they did clean up the littered mess they made in the furnace room, however, it was one of those snowy January days and the constant comming and going to the outside thru a recent snow left a thick coating of mud all over the room and out to the outside. I asked the installers what they were going to do about that. He replied we don't have anything to mop it up. Note the line in their brochure "When the installation is complete, we guarantee your home will be as clean as when we arrived" .
5)When I went to clean my floors that is when I discoverer that my painted cement floors were horribly scratched and chipped by the installers. Does that give you an idea of how much mud was left on my floors.?
6) When spring came, my mower found a large cement chunk and hurled it at the heat exchanger standoffs and broke one. First thing I did was to craw through the grass and find all the cement chunks (and brick pieces) that the installer left in my lawn. Rememer that we had a recent snow fall so the chunks must have been burried in the snow. Then I purchased 4 large ornamental cement blocks to elevate the heat exchanger.

How about installers smearing wet mud in my hardwood floors (in the living quarters) when installing the thermostat
How about large thru hole left in an outside wall. (The furnace adjuster did fix this)

If you think you can just holdout on the money the collection of intimidating men surrounding you at the time of payment might change your mind without saying a word. It worked with me!
The only thing I would wish went differently was the follow up after the first installation. There needed to be a second expert who had to come to the house to adjust the airflow to both floors and I assumed there would be a call from the company to set this up. When I had not heard after about a week I called and it was then managed.
The redesign has also not impacted the comfort of the first floor at all. I did have concerns we were going to be told we needed a bigger furnace or other more expensive options but this has completely resolved the issue. I have used this company in other situations and have always been happy with their work.
Oh----I called about 3 providers that day, one of whom I had been using for the past 2 years. They gave me a date 3 days out.
I'll definitely use them when I need service again, including, buying a new heating system from them.
