"All questions were answered to my satisfaction. Salesman from Mostellar Road location came out to measure room. Initial measurements taken were not perpendicular to the wall thus giving inaccurate measurement. When questioned about this technique, the salesman stated "the measurement would be close enough because we add extra to the dimension anyway". After continued questions about his technique, the salesman re-measured the room using the proper technique. Still waiting for cost information for the second carpet.

"They are the best. The sales rep (
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
) showed up on time, provided the estimate of the price and the date of installation. On the date of installation, Carpet One Team showed up on time (yes, the time they promised to show up!!) and installed the carpet. Definitely the quality of their work is excellent. And the final price was the same as the estimate. I highly recommend Carpet One!"

"it went very well. The owner and employee were responsive. Responded to any requests and explained every question in details, putting customer benefits first.. For example, the HVAC was to tap into existing system. To make the room to have adequate air supply, two supplies were added in with extra effort. Also I thought using the existing 4" supply would be ok, but Mr. Kenniv strongly suggested and installed 6" supply which I'd definitely a god idea. The room is above the garage but did not feel any difference with other rooms. Also the air return air was an challenge work. After it was done, extra insulation was put in. They had a can-do attitude. Never used extra request as an excuse to
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
up price or ask extra payment. They worked extra time to keep schedule. The performed the work with responsibility. The owner , Mr. Kenniv is a very nice person, reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Install went as planned, but this installer does not cover his warranty. I have filed the issue with Lumber Liqudators that I have problems with noise from the floor and the installer will not return my calls and has not followed up with repairs he promised."

"On
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
18, I called Angie's List to report that
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
or his assistant had spilled something on one of my upholstered chairs. I asked them if they had spilled water on the chair.
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's reponse was incredibly rude and unprofessional - "No, I
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
on it."

Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
delivered the laminate to my home a few days before installation. Installation began on
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
18. I immediately had a reaction to the laminate - burning eyes, throat, skin, lungs and a headache. (The manufacturer's insert specifically mentions that the wood dust is a carcinogen and that sawing can produce wood dust that can cause respiratory, eye and skin irritation). I mentioned my reactions to
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
immediately. That day they completed the family room and the living room. The next morning, my symptoms continued. I called the manufacturer and the retailer and determined that I would return the material.
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his assistant removed the material and returned it to the retailer on
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
19. While they were removing the material, they both noted the amount of wood dust that was on the foam placed beneath the laminate. I paid
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
the amount due for the work he had done.

Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did not take the proper precautions (as noted on the manufacturer's instructions) when cutting the laminate; hence the amount of wood dust brought into my house. I had a friend come over to assist with cleaning the dust on
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
19. However, by that time, the wood dust had entered the duct system and had been blown throughout the house. The contractors I hired to clean up the house and ready it for sale, noted the amount of wood dust and took samples of the wood dust from various areas of my home - and this was several weeks after the installation.

On
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
20, I moved out of my house and have not been able to live there since. I called
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
twice to ask him to clean up the wood dust left when he improperly cut the laminate. He returned neither call. On August 7, I e-mailed
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
about cleaning up the wood dust. His response was that he had contacted his lawyer to prepare for small claims court as I had subsequently cancelled the check I had given him.
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
also threatened to file a
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
on my property until he received payment. To date, I have received no formal notification of either threat.

Since
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did not follow the manfacturer's instructions in installing the laminate, I do not believe that he is owed the amount for work performed. Further, I have incurred innumberable expenses since moving out of my home - including medical bills, boarding costs for my dogs, hotel bills and amounts paid to a contractor to clean and ready my house for sale. etc. (I had not planned on selling my house). I am certain there will be other costs incurred before this is over. Since the date of installation I have had continued medical issues and have found it difficult to work.

I would like
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to pay for all the expenses I have incurred or will incur due to improper installation. I would like his company to cover any loss I may take on my home as I attempt to sell it and any costs incurred to purchase a new home. Further, I would like the name of his insurance carrier and his attorney so that I may attempt to resolve this issue, if he is unwilling to take responsibility.

Please note that I use the name "
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
" and
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
" interchangeably. Ultimately,
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his company,
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
are responsible for that which is noted above.

"I paid $750 about 6 years ago to another company to have this leaking door fixed by having a new door installed. Even though the company at the time (a large replacement window and door company) assured me this would fix the problem, it obviously didn't. However, prior to having the new door installed, the door used to leak so badly that I once woke up to a puddle of
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
on my hardwood floor. The new door certainly SLOWED the leak, but 6 years after having it installed the hardwood floor in front of my door was visibly rotted and spongy. This was a scary situation for me because it *could* have meant a rotted sub floor, and the scope of work could have included cutting into my finished basement ceiling, and even removing my entire deck to lower it a few inches. It could have cost me a fortune. And I already felt a little screwed because I had paid that $750 once already to have it fixed! I had a few different handymen come out and bid on the job, but I felt that
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
(the Classy Craftsman) seemed to be the most flexible to my needs and sensitive to my desire to save as much money as possible while not compromising on quality. I didn't want it to cost me a fortune, but I was NOT willing to be cheap and risk not getting a COMPLETE fix this time! Especially when it came to water getting in the house. When
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
told me he'd send out his brother-in-law to do the work, a degreed engineer from
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, I was sold. Surely that guy could fix this issue for good!
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was great! He was on time, polite, and meticulous, which, given the botched repair history of my door problems, made me very comfortable. I think he was excellent. He removed the door and thank god, other than the rotted wood under the sill and a few inches of rotted sub floor (and hardwood) everything else down there was clean, yellow wood! I feel like
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
fixed it the way he'd fix his own home, and I feel confident that my leaking problems are finally fixed. He sprayed anti-mold spray on everything, and salvaged as much as he could. He patched the hardwood floor very neatly, so I don't need to be in a hurry to have the hardwood floors redone. He took a very short, personal lunch break eating the lunch he'd packed, even though I offered to order pizza! And he cleaned everything up behind him.
Mason Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was polite and considerate, and represented the "classy craftsman" company image very well. I would definitely use their company again. I gave them a B on price, because while I felt the price was certainly fair (and actually about half the cost of another handyman I had out!) I think I could have gotten the work done cheaper, but I wasn't willing to low-ball this job, given the potential seriousness of it. And like I said, I thought the price was fair, and in line with the quality. In fact I was pleasantly surprised because I thought it would cost me more. In the end we had agreed to a time plus materials basis rather than an estimate, because I was afraid of the potential scope of the work, and I didn't want the contractor hedging the estimate due to the risk of what he'd uncover once he took the door off. All in all, I would highly recommend this company. They provide quality work to meet your needs at a fair price.
