Carpet Installation Reviews in Hamilton

We asked them for a specific date and they were able to give it to us. They were here on time. They had estimated the installation would take an entire business day and maybe part of another. They sent 3 men and were done in 1/2 day! The work was excellent, very professional looking. We have been recommending them to all of our friends.

and his helper arrived on time as scheduled. They removed the carpet and screwed down the sub floor to take care of some squeaks. They laid out the hardwood and got our approval before installing. They were very professional and got the job done in no time. It was obvious they were very knowledgeable about how to
a hardwood floor. We were very happy with the results.

Carpet Installation reviews in Hamilton

The salesman,
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, came out and was very nice and knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us to choose what we wanted. Two days later the installers came. Bill was the supervisor. He explained everything they were going to do. They moved the furniture. He and his crew worked very hard, were very polite, took very, very few breaks and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. I can't emphasize how professional and enjoyable the entire experience was from beginning to end.

Due to a blue

waterline break, our basement basement carpet need to be re-installed.
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
of Ante Carpeting quoted an approximate $350-$450 charge for carpet pad and labor.
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up promptly and completed the job in less than three hours. The total charge was $425. The work was excellent. I will definitely recommend Ante and will use them again. I also used the coupons in Angie's List. Pretty cool...

We had been shopping around looking for the best price for the product desired. We stopped in to
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
during their once-per-year public sales event. During that meeting, they were helpful and we found exactly what we wanted at a terrific price. However...when our hardwood flooring came in, all of it was "short stock"-meaning pieces 6" to 2' in length. When we called them about it, they were argumentative and told us that they clearly told us that it was short stock and that was why it was such a good price-they had never ONCE mentioned that. Being very persuasive, my husband received a refund and they told us they had another product that was regular premium hardwood flooring. I went to the showroom to discuss with them, and in so doing, told them that we wanted standard hardwood flooring, with regular 4-6' long boards. They told me that the other product was premium flooring, that the lengths would vary but there would be 4-6' boards in each box. One of their associates in the discussion said "the box is 6' long and you'll have pieces as long as the box." Upon arrival of our new wood, it was NOT as they indicated. They are all from 1 to 3' long. I immediately called them, and they were the rudest people I have ever dealt with. They said that they told me the average size piece would be 31", (which they did NOT), and that there would be pieces up to 42" maximum, and in checking 3 boxes there is not The manager was not at all trying to please a customer - he was argumentative, telling me that this wood is installed in upscale new homes, is top of the line, is the same as any product that you would get elsewhere, and he said that they would not give us any kind of refund. When I indicated that one of their associates, involved in the conversation, specifically said that there would be pieces up to 6' long, he said "Well he didn't know what he was talking about and shouldn't have opened his mouth." In the end, after much argument, we have unfortunately given up. Our installer feels that it will look OK once installed, so we are going to go with it, and hope for the best, as we cannot afford to eat $2600 worth of flooring costs to try to find what we want elsewhere. Hopefully we won't have problems with the carpet or tile (they both look fine.) Our installers have indicated that they have had multiple problems with
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
, and when they went to pick up our order were treated very rudely. Our installers indicate that the product they have installed that is purchased from other companies do have many long boards, and what they sold us is very low-end quality flooring. My price rating is based on VALUE for what we paid. The price was right (but not significantly less than the same product elsewhere)-the quality was poor. This was our first time ever ordering hardwood flooring, and thought we had covered all the bases. Even in the 2nd go around when we DID cover the bases were completely lied to. BUYER BEWARE!!!

They did good work, however their communication between the home improvement store where we purchased the carpet at, and the installer
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
didn't seem to be good. The installation was great.

Everything went pretty well. There was a backorder on the trim, so an extra trip was required by the installers. The installers were prompt, courteous and cleaned up well. Assisted in binding old carpet in such a way that trash collectors would take it.

This is a family owned business and it was apparent from the beginning that they took great pride in what they do. They came out to the house and showed us a wide range of carpet styles and qualities. They had no agenda, just gave us the pros and cons so we could make an informed decision. We have pets so we discussed wear and tear, ease of cleaning, etc. We ended up selecting a high-end carpet and padding (this is what we had planned before we contacted any carpeting dealers) which was a major upgrade to what we had previously.
Since we were having 7 rooms, 2 sets of stairs and the upstairs landing recarpeted this was a multi-day job. They worked with us to plan out clear out/refurnish the rooms and this went very smoothly. We have a large 50

fish tank which presented some logistical problems, but they were able to move it in and put successfully without incident.
Because the carpet is quite thick they installed a 2nd set of tack strips and used extra wide seam tape. We would not have known to ask for this and were glad they decided to install it this way. The installers were very professional, arriving on time, respecting our house, etc. They also got along with our dog and cat which was a plus.
As for price, I did not check a category because we did not comparison shop. We had planned to get at least another bid, but were impressed enough that we decided to just go with these folks. The price seemed reasonable to me and my wife given the quality of materials and the size of the job, so no complaints.
Overall, they did an excellent job, did it on schedule and were a pleasure to work with. We recommend them highly.

Our experience with
Hamilton Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked

The appointments for measuring and installation were prompt and courteous. The carpet looks beautiful! We could not say enough good things about our experience with
