Ceramic Tiling Reviews in Fairfield

The install was Ok but he put in a number of chipped tile. We had a lot of tile left over so why use chipped ones. He bought back the remaining tiles from us. The tile was grouted in a following day so the grout man replaced one of the chipped tiles! Then the owner who did the original install came back a week later (he thought we went out of town) to regrout the tile that was replaced. THe grout turned out to be a different shade so we did not pursue it any further

The Reeces were on time every single day that they were on the job--10 days. They called every evening to let us know what time they would arrive the next morning. They were installing 1300 feet of hardwood and had to deal with carpet, old Pergo, old parquet and tile removal throughout the first floor of the house. They were extremely organized and cleaned as they went--hauling debris away daily, and making sure that all their tools were secure. We hit a snag on day 6 of the project when it came time to begin the tile removal. The tile was a true bear to remove.
their composure--even though it was clear that the job was going to take a lot longer. They kept their sense of humor and called in more help. They did their best to mitigate the dust.
It was a joy to watch the
's work together. You can tell they've been a team for a long time. They both love what they do--it is obvious--and they have fun laying the floor--making sure the variegation of color is pleasing, watching seams, etc. I don't think we fully appreciated the amount of talent and skill that are involved in installing wood floors. We have an open floor plan and a lot of thought had to go into how the wood would flow from room to room seamlessly. It was fascinating. When it came time to pay, they ended up coming in $200-lower than the original estimate! This, after essentially losing two days to tile removal. Plus, they were so efficient with the wood (and we used good wood with minimal loss) that we have three boxes left over that we can return for a refund.
They are just friendly, down to earth people who love what they do and do it for a fair price. We will be using them again. I would recommend them highly without reservation.

I called
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
to explain the situation and told them we would be having company soon (it was a week before Thanksgiving). He was very nice and told me that they don't normally do that work, but because of the holiday things, were slow for his tile man so he would send him over.
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
came over on Friday and gave us a bid and told us he could come over on Monday and get it done. He was there promptly at 8:30 a.m. and finished by 12:30. He did excellent work.

This home inspection took 4 hours on a modest 1200 Sq. Ft. home.
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
is very knowledgeable and the most fanatically thorough person I have ever hired. I had the report in my email this morning and it is very professional. I could not have asked for a more specific clear list of possible issues with my house. It occurred to me that I wish I had had this inspection years ago so that I could have used it as a guide when I chose my ongoing home improvement projects in my 24 years of owning my home. It was a large missed opportunity as the years went by. I say this considering how especially patient he was with an older woman who lived alone and he took the time to explain in terms I could understand what he was finding.
To be clear, I seriously doubt that there is anyone more thorough or more professional than
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
for your choice of house inspector. And I would gladly hire his services for any construction or repairs. It is not often that I encounter such high integrity in work ethic and I would hire him for almost anything.

I visited the Colerain store. I brought my measurements with me. The sales representative was very helpful, answering all of my questions. He gave me a rough estimate of the cost, so I set up an appointment for him to come to my home later that week.
We finalized the measurements and my changes. The installation was done about 3 or 4 weeks later. The installers were very courteous and arrived as scheduled. The counter tops were installed in one day and the under cabinet lights and tile backsplash were complete in 2 days.
The work was very well done and I am very happy with my "new" kitchen.

A little rough getting an appointment at first - I believe they were overwhelmed with the response to their coupon. The guys did a pretty good and quick job. My wife felt there was a little place or two that wasn't "perfect", but it looked pretty good to me. My only complaint it that they got some of the grout caulk on the tiles and the side of the tub and they didn't clean it off. Also, I was disappointed that grout sealing was not included (but I'm sure that wasn't included in the price).

We contacted the company and they were very quick to respond and come out for na estimate. Work was scheduled to begin the following Monday. On Monday the workman arrived at 10am. He left at noon for lunch and at 3 that day. On Tuesday, he came back and said he needed to order a drain cover for the shower. He worked for 4 hours. On Wednesday we waited at the house for him to arrive but when we called we were told they were working on another job and would be there laterin the day. No one showed up. This continued for 2 days. On Monday , the following week another workman came and began working and reworking the tile. He came back the next day and then had a family emergency. We kept calling and asking for a call to let us know when someone would be coming and were put off for the rest of the week. On Friday we had to call and ask when they would complete the job. They came on Monday to finish and on Tuesday the boss came to collect the payment. The biggest issue we had was that our calls were never returned in a timely manner and since no one was living at the house, we had to make arrangements for someone to stay on the off

that someone would show up. Complete lack of professionalism in communication. It was a very frustrating experience. We were left feeling that our job was a very low priority for them. I would not recommend them in the future.

I worked with
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
to have a glass tile backsplash installed in my kitchen as a part of a remodel. Three different work areas were involved.
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
came out to measure for the tile backsplash prior to the tile being selected, which was not a problem. Once I selected the tile I asked
Fairfield Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
how much I should order (I was ordering from an internet site). He provided guidance on how much to order and also told me about using a '

' strip to finish off the exposed edges. Once the tile arrived I contact

via email to set an install date.
Another contractor working with

actually did the installation but

stopped by each day to see how things were going.

also obtained the grout color that I desired and coordinated with the contractor to have it on hand.
I love the backsplash!! I thought it was very well done and really complements my cabinets and granite countertops. I did not encounter any issues during the whole process and I would highly recommend

for tile backsplash work. I also thought the price was very reasonable; for perspective the tile I ordered was just about as expensive as the labor.
