Business Description: Hello Angie's member! Let's put your membership to good use. I'm Nathaniel, owner of NET Building/Remodeling. Existing and new clients have been "suggesting" I get on board with the "List" since last year. Well, a few things as you will see, we cover a very broad span of work. 1. A picture portfolio of past work has been started for your convience to view at: Facebook NET Building/Remodeling - see Photos. 2. I haven't been referred to you so here we are, "Angie's," call me, let's get an appointment set up. I do prefer for our first appointment both husband & wife be present. I'll work around your schedule. Depending on the project, I like to talk to both parties so I can get a good feel of what you're looking to have done. This helps estimate the job correctly and put some clarity on your scope of work and what you want to see for a finished product. 3. Complete estimate for your project will be mailed, emailed, faxed or dropped off. I don't do "foot in the door estimates;" these are under or improper low bids that seem acceptable in which it is inevitatable the client will encounter additional expenses. 4. Your home is your "CASTLE." a. Additional refrences can be provided at your request for character and job performance. b. Insurance copy will be mailed or attached to estimate. c. Permit and bond as required per job. Or not as per "homeowner's discretion." d. Drop cloths, plastic used as necessary for finish flooring and keeping dust to minimal. Job site to be picked up and swept daily. e. No loud music, smoking, personal calls, foul language permitted. 5. Contract deposits and draw payments kept fair across the board; also we do allow clients to charge material expenses, allowing the option to put some expense on credit rather than cash. If kept simple and brief feel free to call 216-288-3848 or email netbuilding@aol.com with your concerns. With Enthusiasm, Nathaniel

Troubleshooting frequent sump pump failure

Angie's List member Margaret H. of Glen Ellyn, Ill., replaced her sump pump because the backup pump kept overriding the primary pump.

Dear Angie: We’ve had to replace several sump pumps in just a few years and I’m wondering why. Is there a type of sump pump that would work best in a narrow pit? Is the narrow pit the reason the sump pumps are running often?
