"Outstanding service from the first contact. The initial meeting was in person and scheduled promptly with
." He was very professional and answered all my questions about the process. Throughout the next few months we stayed in touch while I waited to get a contract on my home. When we got the contract,
scheduled my weekend sale and did the marketing and preparation required. I got a call from the onsite team right away and scheduled their time. The onsite prep team was right on time and extremely efficient. When it came time for the sale, we never had fewer than 15-20 cars at all times - very well done. Cleanup was outstanding and settlement quick - I am very pleased.

"Cilla is fantastic. She helped me decorate and organize my new log home. I move into this home from a totally different style home and thought I needed to buy" new furniture to fit the style. Cilla showed me how to repurpose my furniture. She not only came up with the ideas, but she rolled up her sleeves and did the work too! She helped me more furniture around and gave me great ideas. She is a ball of energy and was great at quizzing us about what we liked and how we used each room. She helped me with the living room, entry hallway, and dining room. She gave great ideas for other rooms too. She even brought her sewing machine and whipped up some custom table coverings to put under the glass on some antique tables I thought didn't go in our log home...but with the added fabric they looked updated and we love them again. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for decorating ideas, help with organizing, renovation ideas, clutter help, and staging. Her rates are very reasonable. We definitely got our money's worth.

gets mixed grades. The estate sale itself was excellent. He advertised it well and we got plenty of response. We were pleased with the amount of merchandise he was able to sell at a good price. On this aspect of our experience, I would highly recommend this company.
Unfortunately, we had two significant hiccups.
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
promised to remove the remaining items from our house the night before we settled and take them to either a charity or an auction house. His men never showed up. I called repeatedly and left voice mails. No response. In a panic, my wife and I spent three hours consolidating all the items in our garage so that, if necessary, I could rent a truck and take them myself. The next morning I finally reached
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
. He didn't seem to grasp the difficulty and worry he had caused but he did send a truck. He charged $300 for that.
The other hiccup involved an original copy of
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
I gave to him to put up for auction. It was valued at $800. He sent me a check for $35. He said the auction house had taken the best price. What kind of auction house sells an original copy of
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
for $35? Someone walked away with a steal at my expense.

truck and trailer . My son was working out of town so I went over . When I go there, indeed, the house was empty of all contents, including some antique pieces the property owners were keeping for an elderly couple across the street. I asked
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
for some legal documentation showing he had a legal right to remove my sons property and he began screaming at me to get off his property, I was trespassing and he was going to call the police. I just continued to ask him for documentation. He screamed at me you are on private property , this is my home and you are trespassing now GET OUT "" I then noticed a large piece of art my son had been keeping for me while I moved my office from my home to an office downtown. I told
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
that art belonged to me , that it had been -gifted to me by the artist and he said "not anymore it doesn't "This is MY house now and everything in it is mine." The value personally is priceless...at an art show 1500. not including the framing, matting and protection I had provided at an added cost of 600.00. I went to try and get it and
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
put his arm over it stopping me. I tried to move his arm and one of his workers started yelling "she is beating on him...she is beating him up"....he was on the phone with the police at this time...I thought I had stepped in to a bad B movie.
The officers told me to document everything take pictures of the property I COULD see, the company logo, license plates. interior of the cab,. Many of the items had been put into boxes so I could not see them, My sons fiance' had valuable collectables ie; barbies in original boxes etc....... the officers stated this was a civil matter NOT a city matter, and to go immediately and file charge. I stood there as
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
drove off with my art and my sons property-- with the police beside me. I am not stupid-- I was well aware by the time the
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
dried on any formal document charged against this man --this property would be all over the KC area, destroyed or stored somewhere..None of the other businesses
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
consigns to will have a clue they are selling stolen property. I am well aware of how auctions and estate sales work. I have never met such a cold, calculating, unkind dishonest man in my life and it truly chills me to think he is in and out of peoples home on a daily basis. My only recourse is to try and stop this man from doing this to someone else... thank you for your time.

Like another reviewer, I used to attend estate sales all over the Houston area before I retired. Somehow I missed the scuttlebutt rumors about
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
and attended one of her sales. Many items were not marked and I took them, along with priced items, to the check out, saying that I needed prices on some things. When she started tallying up the sale right away, I said again that I needed prices for some of the items. She yelled at me and called the policeman at the door to escort me out as the other shoppers stared. I was stunned.
Since then, I have been told that the policeman is a relative, not that it matters, and possibly not actually in the HPD, which should matter. The other rumors are negative, but not relevant to my experience. My rating on quality is based on the service provided to the public which has a direct impact on the person seeking to hire an estate sale professional. Failure to price items and yelling at customers will not encourage sales.

Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
does an excellent job of fairly and efficiently
running an estate sale. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always
friendly and ready to lend a hand. Last week I purchased a chair and
one of the staff carried it to my car.

Excellent job of organizing and advertising our sale. All help were professional and did a great job!
- Deborah G.

The sale itself was an absolute fiasco. He did not provide a detailed list of all items to be sold prior to the auction (which was written in his contract and it's a state statute), and afterwards gave me a vague list of what was sold so it is impossible for me to reconcile what is known to be missing. I did pretty much did 80% of the prep work including buying boxes and filling them with tons of items, and when the auction occurred and he had an auctioneer here who I never saw his license. We had a lot of items go missing after the auction and since there no detailed list we were never able to reconcile where the discrepancy is. The detailed list should have been provided prior as per the state statute. We have made repeated attempts to get the information from him, both through the state regulating board and attorney, and at this point we are trying to sever the contract and move on, but he is no longer communicating with us or our attorney.

He kept pushing an offer about 75,000 less than the current value of the house (and 20,000 less than the reserve price) 2 weeks prior to the auction, but said the person offering could not afford his commision. When the auction occurs ZERO people showed up for auction of the house. I've spoke with different auctioneers and spoke with the auction board and they said it was very odd nobody showed up. We were sold a service that was not provided, the auction itself was not performed in accordance to the state statutes which are currently set by the state DPOR who are currently investigating the matter. If they're this comfortable doing this to me and my senior parents while I was here I can't even imagine what they'd do on their own.

We explained that we did not want people traipsing through our home while we still lived in it. We wanted wider notoriety for the sale than just locals traveling (20 miles from DC) from the suburbs. He still said he thought this was the best way, to sell in our home. We decided to go with an auction house that could advertise world-wide on the web, and also sell locally by auction and consignment shop. The owner of this business would not consider only a partial sale of estate. He wanted access to sell entire contents. Some of our stuff was worth getting wider notoriety for its sale, some stuff was not. We decided not to use

It went extremely well.
Eastlake Auction Services Provider Name Locked
is very friendly and professional...always on time and gladly answered any questions that came up. He and his crew do amazing work at a very fair price. What would have been a very time consuming and back breaking job for us turned out to be a piece of cake. I highly recommend Past to Present Estate Sales. They are amazingly!!
