"1. We called several times and they claimed the Arches policy would cover CPAP supplies but after enrollment they denied coverage saying that they didn't cover 'sleep apnea'" diagnosis. Over 90% of CPAP supplies are used for sleep apnea so this was misrepresentation. 2. The Arches policy provided a very low "maximum out of pocket" which sounds good until you read that it does not pay for any 'not covered' services such as CPAP etc. 3. I have been on a medication for 7 years and several insurance companies had covered it but Arches said it wasn't on their approved list so it would be 'not covered' which means it also would not apply to the
out of pocket. I'm not sure of the extent of 'not covered' services only that the only 2 recurring medical costs I have are both 'not covered' so I had to pay the full costs. This is not how I view an insurance company should operate.

"It turned out good. There was nothing I didn't like. They had good service. The price was good. I didn't have any problem with it.

"Their service is atrocious. First, their website does not work. It has a lot of outages. I was barely able to make the election online between "server down" notices." Once the election was acknowledged, I attempted to make payments online. The link for payment NEVER worked. It always stated that there were issues with the server. I then mailed my payment USPS Express Mail next day delivery (another cost). Then trying to get to the next step they gave erroneous information to my Insurance carrier so they were not able to reinstate my policy just yet. I have no confidence that they have done what they said. In the meantime, it looks like I have no insurance. The providers will not provide medical service without payment as self-insured. If not processed right, I could be out of pocket forever. I have spent many hours addressing these issues. The system allows them extraordinary amounts of time to perform tasks that should happen quickly with today's technology. It seems that all reviews that people have similar or worse experiences. That the law requires a wieldy process is one thing...but that as a provider they are woefully staffed for the task is unacceptable.

Hi,

This is Leah B. in Member Services, happy to help!

I may need more clarification in order to accurately answer your question. It sounds like you may be trying to locate or review health insurance brokers or agents. You may also be referring to Navigators hired by state and federal government to help people choose an Affordable Care Act plan prior to the sign-up deadline of March 31. In any case, we do not have a category to rate ACA Navigators at this time. If you want to review or locate an insurance provider, a specialist would be happy to help at 888-944-5478, or memberservices@angieslist.com.

They did okay by me until this year. They made some major changes for the new year, for 2015. I don't know if I'll stay with them or not because they raised their rate way up on me. So I'm looking at whether or not I want to continue with them. Other than that, it was okay. The whole thing, medicare medicaid is a little bit of a sham. The whole health system is poor in the United States.

They are lousy. They are through my employer. I've used them since 2006 or 2007. I get an annual eye exam every year because I have extremely bad eyesight. The lenses for my eyeglasses are very expensive. They only gave $20 or $25 for the lens and frames. For a $470 pair, I had to pay around $440 for my co-pay. This year they were going to pay even less. In 2012 they paid $100 of a $500 prescription. Nothing had changed and the benefits were the same. Neither the ophthalmologist or myself couldn't get a straight answer out of them. I have no choice but to use them unless I purchase my own insurance individually.

Although I have had any reason to initiate a claim with
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
my experience with the administrative staff has been excellent. I have called or emailed three or four times and each time i waited no more tan 5 minutes for my call to be answered and each time the person on the phone or responding to my email was informed and helpful. So far I am very pleased with the service.

Thus far I have mixed reviews on
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
. I signed up on the state healthcare web site for
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
Carelink. I had a difficult time accessing them for information after signing up, but am not signed on to their web site and getting information through the mail. One thing that really has set my head spinning is that during the "shopping" phase of my transition to a new insurance company, there was no information available about the network, which of course is pretty important to those of us who would prefer to keep our doctors, if possible. I called all three of my regular docs and was told that, YES, we take
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
. Come to find out, the Carelink network is very limited, so I am having to switch out to new docs, and there are very few of them from which to choose.
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
should have been forthcoming about the apparent reason why Carelink is less expensive per month: very limited network. Accessing
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
by phone requires a lengthy wait. The reason given for this is a greater demand on the heels of Obamacare, but I have to wonder if they didn't expect this and shouldn't have planned for it. Also, there are multiple numbers for this and that - too many - and several times I did the wait and then found out that I needed another number. One of the numbers was a "circular" automated message that
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
me back to the start but never where I needed to go. I did give
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
feedback on this. I did get through to an agent that was helpful in answering questions that should have been answered up front, on the web site, before requiring sign-up. So far not great, is my opinion, but we'll see. I have an appointment with my new doctor the first part of April, so I am hoping that she'll be adequate for my needs. I am a reasonable healthy person but have a few issues that need to be monitored ongoing.

I switched from Anthem Blue Cross PPO to
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
for 2013 when Anthem raised their monthly premium. What a mistake! I have to take quite a few medications and the rep told me that
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
had some kind of special deal with CVS and that my Rx copays would be less than before. I signed up and when I got my first prescriptions, the cost was far from any "deal." I called and was told that the CVS deal didn't exist anymore. Of course, them I was stuck and couldn't change. Out of pure laziness, I stayed with
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
for 2014. In February, my drug costs skyrocketed. One that was $14 was all of a sudden almost $65! I called and they've changed the plan to where I now have to pay 25% copay! No notification or anything! I can't wait until enrollment time comes around. Sadly it isn't until October. For sure, I will be changing!

It went terribly. The agency and
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
in particular was unresponsive, unhelpful, rude and ultimately offensive. Once we realized this was not going to be a good relationship I asked the policy be cancelled. This was 48 hours after coverage had commenced. Ms
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
refused to cancel the policy unless I provided her with proof I had other coverage. I did but could not see why I needed to provide it to her. Recently, 4 months later, I received a letter from a collection agency. Clearly Ms
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
decided having not sent me a bill to put this into collection. Even the collection agency could not believe it. The premium from
Dayton Health Insurance Providers Provider Name Locked
was $334. I got the same insurance from State Farm within 2 hours for $120. don't use this agency.
