Service people we OK but the general service package is slow and internet signal is weak and will drop out from time to time. Cable TV is OK but as usual most cable providers package the channels to their own benefit so they fill up the TV with channels the own or have an interest in promoting. Generally the local people are good. The on phone tech service is about 50%, if you get the right agent you get correct answers. It seems that they have several shifts so weekend and late night in Philippines shifts are so so.

I honestly thought it was their box, not mine. In addition, the best they could do was 5-7 days. "Nothing local?" "Nope." "Can't I go to a local AT&T store?" "Well..." I terminated the call to think about it. Later, I tried to log on & had received an e-mail noting they had had a problem area-wide and I should wait. Since it was working, and it's still working just fine now months later, I have done nothing. It wasn't a problem at "my house." The trouble-shooting was incorrect.

I called technical support, they did something by remote on their end, and the problem was solved. Took about two minutes. This was a quick fix, but in times past, I have found that SL has taken whatever time was required to resolve the problem, including helping me with hardware and software that was not from SL. They have never told me they couldn't help me with an issue because it wasn't their equipment.

I picked my day and they showed up as planned. Not only did he hook my new internet box up but he helped me hook up a TV I had just purchased. The repair man did not have to do that at all, he was very kind and showed me what to do with my hook up. He was very professional, on time, and quick. Before I knew it they were done and leaving. I like Optimum's service for my phone, TV and internet. I would not change my service for anyone.
