Wow, this guy was great. Friendly, helpful, took care of everything on 2 visits and was right on time. I will always call them in the future when needed. The folks setting up the appointment were great. The air was noticeably cooler the first hour and not a drop of water any more!

The whole install went very well. The crew that did the work spent about 5 days total to completely remove the older existing system, which was complicated by a very small attic and poor installation of the previous system. They even had to replace the new system because the first unit had a manufacturing defect.
They had to cut new holes in the ceiling and were very conscientious about dust, covering all furniture and thoroughly cleaning afterwards.
The new system is much more efficient and cools the whole house much better than the old one.
They did a great job, handled the financing, helped when we ran into a problem with getting a rebate from the manufacturer, and have continually followed up to ensure the system has performed well and to ensure the city permits were all complete.

We chose the other company strictly based on price, solution, and financing. But the solutions proposed by
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
were also very good. They were very professional. We did ask around about both companies and heard nothing but good feedback.
I would certainly contact
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
again to bid any future projects or as an option for service or maintenance.

arrived right on time, was efficient and followed up right after with a report and offer to provide an estimate for a heat pump/AC which we are considering. When the time comes we will most likely use these guys - they were great.

Our furnace was making odd noises Thursday.

came to our house early Friday morning and found the broken part that was causing the problem. He recommended we just replace this and only install a new motor if this step didn't solve the problem. He had the new part by Monday morning and worked quickly to get our air conditioning on. Both he and the receptionist who took my call were very polite and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

A service technician was sent to my home on Saturday night to see if my system could be saved. The technician was very knowledgable and professional and we quickly got to the conclusion that the system had to be replaced. I was given two options for a new system and the costs were explained in very good detail. I scheduled the service for the next day, a Sunday. The installation team leader arrived precisely on time the following morning, and explained exactly what was going to be done. The crew arrived about 20 minutes later and began the demolition of the old system. The entire installation process took about 5 hours and afterwards the team leader explained the entire system to me. Additionally, the team took the initiative to recommend installing a ply wood "door" which could be lowered to allow a technician to stand directly in front of the furnace for safe maintenance work. My system is in a somewhat precarious position in the attic relative to the ladder access point, so this was a very smart way to solve the problem. The system is working better than the old one ever did, and I couldn't be happier with the new system. I would absolutely recommend

I found
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
as I was researching on the internet about how to save on the cost of energy for our home. We are preparing to have our attic sealed and insulated very soon, and from the energy audit we had completed earlier by another Angie's List provider - Energeyes - we learned that we have inadequate air transfer, which not only causes there to be some rooms of the house to be cold in the winter (and we are tired of freezing!), but it can also cause your HVAC system to die before its time. As I stated previously, I found
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
quite by accident - he was an approved participating contractor through
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
Energy for their smart saver program (which is something else I was unaware existed - check out their webpage: http://www.

's page and choosing a contractor to perform an HVAC health check - I chose
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
because his website won me over (full of info and gave me the warm fuzzies about
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
because it seems he's all about doing a good job and making his customers happy - I filled out an online form and
Crestline HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
got right back to me. He got us on his schedule very quickly, arrived on time, listened attentively to all my concerns and questions, got to work right away on checking our outside unit (we have a split system), used all kinds of electronic meters and gauges, pinpointed issues that needed resolving that we didn't even know existed (we were 2 pounds low on coolant), explained to me things I was doing that were hurting instead of helping my system to work efficiently, made sure everything was set and running as it should be (which the original installers didn't seem to have bothered to do) ... all in all, I learned a lot about how to take care of, and get the best service from, my system. I was so impressed that I am now on his schedule for having my HVAC system checked and serviced twice a year - cost $180. The total paid ($403) included the service contract of $180, and 2 pounds of coolant $127.56, and the Smart Saver Energy Check $120...(the energy check is also eligible for a rebate from

for the page of happiness, I would. He was great! If you are looking for an HVAC guy who is knowledgeable, does a thorough job, and is altogether honest, then call

After a thorough inspection and assessment of the problem, various options were given to remedy the situation. There was no pressure to go with the high end (= more expensive) option. We decided to replace one of the units based on its age and high probability for future problems. They returned to complete the work as scheduled. They were professional and provided explanations on everything they were doing. I would highly recommend them and intend on using them for future a/c and heating work.

The inspector came and perform the scheduled maintenance. He provided the receipt and also let me know any issues with the unit for future reference.

The technician arrived on time. He was at our house for a maximum of 15 minutes. He charged our system. While talking with my husband, he used ethnic slurs and discussed topics that to me were unprofessional. He did not write a ticket, therefore we did not sign a ticket. The bill arrived a month and a half later. I was billed for 1 hour of labor. When I called to discuss it with the company, the lady that I talked to was rude and condescending. She told me that it was my responsibility to know that they charge a minimum of one hour of labor. She said that this policy was clearly stated on the bottom of my service ticket (of which I never saw). I will never use this company again!
