Business Description: My name is Edd Mieczkowski. Yes, it's 100% Polish. Your second question probably is, "how does he pronounce that?" Well it's easy, just picture a farmer's cow snow-skiing down a hill. MY-COW-SKI.
The name is as simple as our business - taking care of your lawn, landscape and maintenance needs; all with professional, prompt, reliable and reasonably priced service.
You might be wondering about my background. Holding an M.B.A. I spent over thirty-three years as part of Corporate America. I oversaw the industrial division of a major Central Ohio company and prior to that was a hands' on manager for a national consumer manufacturer.
However, there comes a time when corporate life looses its' luster! Far to young to retire, with my youngest in college, I needed to pursue another dream.
Knowing what enthused me - business, interacting with people, providing a needed service and hands on physical activity - gave birth to the Polish Gardener.
From the beginning I have made The Polish Gardener a community oriented company and as such have special senior citizen and business programs in place. With my own mother being in her late 80s, and living out of state, I understand the importance of providing high quality services to senior citizens. Secondly, as a small business owner I know the difference that a reliable, quality driven and cost effective service can make to a company's bottom line. I hope you come to enjoy our service as much a we enjoy providing it for you, whether that be on a commercial or residential basis.
