Business Description: Over 20 years ago, Tom Layne started in the alarm industry working for larger security companies. After a few years of learning the industry, he decided to open his own company, Layne Security, LLC. Through the years, Tom has built his company and continues to be successful by being competitive with larger national companies. This was achieved by being honest, dependable, knowledgeable and most importantly, affordable. Our customers range from the single-family homeowner to large corporations. Layne Security, LLC continues to provide security and fire detection services for nationwide chain pharmacies, restaurants and department stores. We also provide 24 hour a day, 7 day a week monitoring services which are state of the art and are priced well below our competitors. Our monitoring fees are kept low because of our “NO contracts - NO credit check” policy, no hidden charges and no fine print. If we could use only one word to describe the difference between Layne Security and other alarm system dealers, we would use the word AFFORDABLE. Our business has succeeded by building customer relations by being ethical and affordable. We will never use deceptive tactics to entice customers to sign contracts by using gimmicks or offering FREE equipment. We owe our longevity to our loyal customers and to one simple principal, “treat everyone as if they are your only customer”. With this attitude and approach, we strive to not only meet, but to exceed our customer’s expectations. Layne Security achieves its success by maintaining strong customer relationships along with impeccable installation and service. The following are just a few of our company guidelines: **We take the time to customize systems to meet our customer needs. We do not believe that “one size fits all” when it comes to your security system. **We install top of the line quality equipment and devices because our customers will own the system. Good quality equipment does not necessarily need to be the most expensive. Standing behind our products will instill customer confidence and trust. **We do not lure customers in with a low price and up-sell to make a profit. We are always upfront and honest with our customers. Layne Security does not pay commissions. **We DO NOT lock our clients into long term contracts. We want our clients to stay with us because they are receiving excellent service not because they are locked into a contract. **When you call us, you will almost always speak with a person. We do not use an answering service or an automated operator/phone system. The security industry is 24/7/365 and this is how our company operates. Our cell phone is always on, but with being in the field, occasionally you may get voice mail. Leave a message and someone will call you back ASAP. **We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1994. Therefore it’s not just a business, it’s personal. At Layne Security we treat our customers as partners. We have a sincere interest in making sure that every customer is extremely satisfied with our services and that we are providing them with the peace of mind they deserve. If there is ever an issue whether good or bad, please bring it to our attention. Currently, we are beginning to involve the second generation of the Layne family. We are confident that Layne Security will be here for you and your family for many years to come.
