I met with
to discuss remodeling a house we had just purchased. I discussed my ideas with
as we walked around the house. This was our first remodel using an architect. Because
has such vast experience, he made suggestions that I had never thought of. He was looking at the house not only for my current use but also from the resale perspective. I have to confess I am a very difficult person to work with. I change my mind often but this didn't seem to faze
. The contractor I hired also offered ideas and suggestions. I am from the east coast and would email
that I was coming in to town. He was very agreeable to meet with me and the contractor whenever we pleased-even weekends. There were many changes to the original plans as the project kept expanding.
took it all in stride. He would email the plans to me, make any changes I wanted and present them to the city for approval.
knows how to work through the city approval process. In general, remodels are stressful.
assured me throughout the process that everything will be fine and the house will pass inspection. Even the contractor said he was a good guy to work with. I've never used an architect before so I'm not sure about the price but I'm sure it's comparable to others.

was great. He listened to what we were trying to create and offered reasonable and sound ideas to meet our requests. He provided all of the drawings needed by the builder and subcontractors. He was prompt, polite, affordable, professional and personable.
was very accommodating to our busy schedule and met at our home. He made the process very easy and now we are using his architectural design to build our remodel/addition.

We were planning to remove a non-load bearing wall and our town required architectural drawings as part of the permit applications.
I contacted Nick --- he came took a look at our kitchen and what we were planning to do.
He took the time to understand what we wanted since we had already planned everything out at this point.
Few days later (this was the
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
4th weekend) we got a proposal from him which was quite reasonable.
He said he could get it done in 2 weeks and delivered on time.
He even Got building plans from the town just to ensure that the wall that looks non-load bearing was indeed so to avoid surprises later on.

In all, Nick is very easy to work with. He is extremely professional, punctual, and pleasant to work with.
Took the time to understanding what we wanted.
And clearly explained what he was going to do and when he would deliver.
And offered suggestions where he felt things could be done differently and advise on concerns I had.
Could not ask for a nicer experience.

Would recommend and work with
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
again. He is honest, talented and dedicated to his work. He does custom cabinets and can build anything. He is calm and his people are nice and trust worthy. Every does their job (works hard, shows up on time, extremely neat) and if there any "hiccups" they come back and fix it until it is right. He communicates what he is doing, gives a written quote and follows through.
Very happy with
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
and his work. Recommend him highly.

We had purchased a "fixer-upper" home that needed massive amounts of work.
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
was very flexible in scheduling our meetings, was incredibly patient, and listened to our concerns and needs for the project. We had a basic idea of what we had wanted to do with the house, and
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
was VERY creative in how he utilized the space to create our dream home. He was incredibly thorough and very detail-oriented. When it came time to send the drawings out to bid, each contractor that we met with was very impressed with the level of detail that
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
had on his drawings. They even commented on how most architects do not go into this level of detail, which shows how meticulous
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
's work is. His drawings were very thorough and did not leave out any details.
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
made it very easy for the contractors to write up an accurate bid. We were absolutely thrilled with his work and we would definitely use him again. We HIGHLY recommend him.

It took longer than expected. Sometimes he didn't reply back quickly, but that was the worst of it. His drawing was awesome. He gave me lots of suggestions. He listened to all of my desires for the future plan, and made them better than what I imagined. He was very helpful.
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
also didn't charge me for every email or phone call. I would highly recommend him.

schedule time to come out and meet with us to understand what we wanted. He was very flexible with his schedule and was on time for every meeting! He asked great questions and offered several ideas. We had multiple meetings and he explained every step of the process. The final drawings were very professional and complete. He even gave us a list of General Contractors that he recommends. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with

Following the site visit,
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
provided the design very quickly and always answered my follow-up questions promptly.
In all my communications with him, the level of professionalism was impressive. Although, my interaction was limited to this one service, I would recommend him without hesitation.

We are renovating a house we purchased in Spring TX and are doing some renovation in advance of our moving from WV. I found
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
on Angie's list and noted his consistent A rating. I knew we were going to have to be able to pass the scrutiny of the
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
authorization process to add a covered porch at the rear of the house, so desired to have appropriate plans drawn up. At our request,
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
came to the Texas house to do the initial consultation with us on short 24 hr. notice, since we can only travel to the Texas house for short periods. There was a $100 weekend on-site consult fee, which is deducted from the final cost if a contract is undertaken. There was an additional $500 down payment at contract signing, which was likewise deducted from the overall final charge.
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
gave us a $100 "Angie's List" discount, making the total cost $1400.00. Since we were in another state, we communicated by e-mail, pdf and text. He met with us in Spring on our
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
4th trip to confirm the final plan and give us copies of the printed-to-scale plan document. He subsequently prepared and delivered 3D elevation drawings (4 copies and a jump drive) of the proposed porch for the general contractor to present to the
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
with the scaled plan document.
Staten Island Architects Provider Name Locked
is congenial, professional, competent and easy to talk to and work with. We can see why he has a reputation for excellence and is A rated on Angie's List.
