Had been getting water dripping down walls and on floor after significant rainfalls. Went with Bakers because of their reputation and they had done work for my brother a couple of years ago. Bakers scheduled
to inspect the garage and create the work order.
was very responsive to my numerous questions and we settled on the work to be done and the price. My only complaint with
is that he got my municipality wrong, which is significant because my municipality has much more stringent building permit and inspection policies.
said it was my responsibility to secure any required building permits and to schedule inspections. When I applied for the building permit, the code officer said that Bakers would know when to call for any required inspections. Fortunately, Bakers' building crew acknowledged this and scheduled the inspection at the proper time.
My contract required me to remove a wall-mounted furnace and
advised me to remove the wiring from the wall where the Cleanspace wall system would be installed.
My work dates were given to me shortly after the contract was accepted and the building crew arrived on time according to the scheduled start date. The job took 1 more day than anticipated. The work was done professionally and the foreman answered my questions satisfactorily as they arose. The work crew seemed to have trouble installing the Cleanspace wall system. There are a few bulges and wrinkles in it. I am concerned that the Cleanspace wall system
the underlying block walls and any problems that might develop in those walls. How would I know if those walls started to buckle? My other area of concern is the manner in which the outlet of the sump pump was tied in with a downspout. The diameter of the outlet pipe is considerably smaller than the diameter of the downspout pipe. The tie-in is an adapter in-line with the downspout pipe with an opening in it with the same diameter as the downspout pipe. This opening is very close to ground level. The sump pump outlet goes through this opening and terminates just past the boundary of the downspout pipe. When I asked about this, I was told that downspouts tend to freeze in the winter and if frozen, and the sump pump activates, its discharge would be able to escape via the large opening in the downspout pipe. I am concerned about soil, animals, and other debris getting into this opening and clogging the downspout.
Other than the two concerns with the work and my experience with the building permit, I am happy with the job. There have been several significant rainfalls since the work was completed and the garage has remained dry.

We called AuqaProof out to our house in June due to yard drainage issues and basement flooding. We submitted an online request for a quote and we got a return call back within 24 hours. Had
out for an estimate within the next week. Work was completed by the end of June.
We were initially only interested in adding trench drainage on our one side of our yard. We live along a gradual incline so all the water up the hill will run down into and thru our yard with heavy rains. Water was pooling along our deck area. And heavy rain flow had started to flow along our foundation and leaked water in through a window in the basement. Felt very confident talking with
that he and his company had experience and knew what they were doing. Ended up with trench drainage on both sides of our deck and along property areas where the water was pooling. They buried the drain line down to the sewer drain in the corner of our backyard property. They also tied in our existing gutter drains to this drain line to the sewer. Also redid and added a gutter drain that was missing on the one side of our roof.
It has only been a month, but I can notice a huge difference in our yard after a heavy rain. I am very happy with the work they did. The team that did the work was very professional and friendly, and made sure to do everything correctly and how we wanted it. I would definitely recommend them for water drainage work.

After calling around for estimates, I hired
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. The price was much lower than the competition. The crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. They put in 6 braces, cutting into the concrete floor so the braces were stable and anchoring them at the top with super heavy-duty bolts. The work passed inspection with flying colors. Everyone was personable & professional, but focused on completing the job. Perfect job, very satisfied, no complaints or problems. Would definitely use
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
again & recommend them to others.

suggested some b******* about using 3 spikes at $2,000.00 a piece to move a small retaining wall. Boasted about his family business....but never suggested just knocking down wall as its not needed. A real rip off artist. Not at alllooking or caring for the customor and never suggested cheaper alternatives.

I was quite surprised that it only took one day. The workers were all very polite and helpful. They explained the process and allowed me to ask questions along the way. I was also very surprised that the yard was minimally disturbed from all of the digging; this was a pretty big project. When they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned the glass on the door they had used to enter the basement. Other than the C-channel beams on the walls and the new I-beam supports, the basement space was undisturbed. I am VERY happy with the work and services provided!

and his crew were one of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. What they promised they delivered and were scrupulously tidy , punctual and always kept me posted on all aspects of the work.I would recommend them for any type of work they specialize in .The work was dirty , back breaking work involving 2 to 3 feet high crawl space clean out and install of new drains , gravel , pumps and tarps . All completed with no complaints in very high temperatures.
They also came back a few days later to complete additional work not in original scope of proposal. No extra cost was charged
A first class outfit.

Upon inspection of both the interior and exterior,
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
indicated that there were things we could do (and he outlined specific solutions :) to fix the problem but that he didn't think his services would be the best option. I appreciated his honesty, sense of humor, and willingness to offer solutions that didn't even involve his services - a sign of true professional in my opinion.
I give
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
a B only because services were not rendered and thus I can't speak to the actual quality of work.

This is the second time that I've used this company (the first time was to install an outdoor sump pump / drain assembly to fix a problem with a flooding back patio / basement). We hadn't originally elected to get the backup sump pump / battery backup because we're kind of cheap, which we regretted when we had a rainstorm that knocked our power out (BTW, if you install a sump pump, ALWAYS get the backup sump pump / battery backup the first time! You might kick yourself later like we did...) We were as satisfied by our second experience with this company as we were with our first, I completely recommend this company!

The work of
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew was second to none. They did a big job--removing and replacing the concrete floor of our basement, enlarging the sump pump drain, replacing the sump pump, installing drain tiles, and sealing the entire space--in two days. The two men who started the sealing process offered to stay late to finish the work rather than come back another day, and since we didn't mind, they stayed until 9 p.m. All of the workers were clean and courteous and worth the money (because you're paying for peace of mind, knowing that everything is well sealed and clean). If you're going for polyurea, they're one of the only companies that does this process.

was great to work with and always in touch. I had a ton of questions all along the way and he never seemed bother to explain things to me. We are really happy with how the whole project turned out.

The provider and his assistants showed up on time, but the provider said he had to leave to supervise another job. This was in direct contradiction to his prior promise to supervise the work closely. He convinced us everything would be ok and left.
The assistants started working on the drainage from
Silver Creek Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. We had been told that the work would not entail tearing up the front garden, but the first thing they did was tear up the garden, removing plants and paving stones in order to

the drainage pipe.
The drainage pipe was also installed with an opening at the top, completely open to the elements and seemingly working against the purpose of the pipe: to remove moisture from

. After some discussion, the contractor agreed to put a mesh shield over the opening.
The work on the front step also did not go as agreed. The step had been slowly sinking over the last ten years, and was now awkwardly low. The agreement was that they would remove the existing step and pour a new step at a height according to code. However, the initial framing for the cement was at the same height as the prior step. Fortunately, we demanded that the step be poured as agreed and the framing was corrected.
The rest of the job was completed, the front garden plants were put back, and everything seemed ok. We paid the contractor and he and his assistants left. We then took a look around and discovered they had left a 3 inch hole in the concrete of the side wall of the house.
We contacted the contractor to come back and fix the hole. After two weeks of phone calls, we were able to get in touch. However, the contractor says he can only send his assistants and they can only come when we are away. Based on our previous experience, we are not satisfied with this arrangement.
