The maintenance has been smooth and convenient. The time they replaced our a/c, this was after we tried a company referred to us who had terrible customer service, so it was very pleasant to have
come and show more professionalism and attention to customer service. Very glad.

On January 24th
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
sent us a bid on the
remodel of our 6’x6’ master bath.
That bid was for $4,525.00. We had that revised to $4,459.00
after Tri County ordered the wrong size toilet. We supplied: marble vanity top
with sink and faucet, and hand held showerhead. The job was supposed to take...More /> 3-4 days. On March 4th the workers arrived and started the
demolition, removing the old shower. As of this date,
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
23rd; the
job is still not completed. The first delay was “ the shower has not come in
yet”. On the second day we were told the tile had not arrived yet. When they did
install the tile above the shower stall they did so over sheet rock, (not green
board), that had no waterproofing and there was no backboard of any kind around
the frame of the shower. (There was a two-inch gap because the old shower had
been larger than the new one. The showerhead pipe was installed on an old 1”x4”
taken from our old vanity. The 1”X 4” split out where it was toe nailed to the
studs. The screws holding the pipe
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
had also split out so it was not
entirely screwed into the wood. This was tiled over and it was obviously
unstable. When inquiring about these things we were told, “ it will be fine”.
They had dropped a tool of some kind on the shower
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
creating a 2” chip on
the bottom (we have before and after photos showing the shower
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
during and
after installation). There are numerous scratches on the walls of the shower
that in our opinion was caused by not properly cleaning when grouting the tile.
They installed the back splash on the marble vanity top we had supplied for
them even though it was chipped - about a ½ inch by ¾ inch piece at the end was
missing. When we pointed it out they said it was chipped when it came out of
the box. We have only their word on that, but they should not have put it in if
it was chipped. When they reinstalled the bathroom door it came 18” from
closing due to the tile work they did on the floor. The owner came down to saw
off the bottom of the door; however in doing so he somehow messed up the latch
and now the door won’t latch. His answer to that was, “it probably never closed
right to start with”. I can assure you all our doors did close and latch
properly. The shower glass enclosure had not been installed properly, (the top
aluminum rail that holds the glass was cut too short and not attached to the
wall-we have photos) causing the glass to fall completely out and shatter two
weeks after they left. This again chipped and scratched the inside of the
shower. When we called them the owner would not return our calls. Three and a
half weeks later we got an answer to our email stating that they had the new
glass but no one would install it for us. We gave them the name and number of a
local glass company who installed it two weeks later, only to find out Tri
County had ordered clear glass when ours has a rain design. We are still
waiting for the rain glass to arrive to complete the job. We have paid them
$4,047.00 plus it cost us $1,348 to have their tile work removed and done
properly by the professional that “usually” does the tile work for

. When we tried to talk to
the owner,
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
Plummer, he accused us of being “too picky and wanting something
for nothing”. When the glass is finally
properly installed it will have been at least 5 months and we still will be
left with a scarred up shower and a door that does not latch. We have photos
and witnesses from the contractors who had to come in and clean up

mess. I would never recommend
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
for anything. This has been nothing
but a nightmare.

We have been
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
& Sons customers for years, and have been generally pleased. While their customer service has always lacked, we’ve put up with this because of their good technicians who are always professional. But the bad customer service just exhibited has now outweighed the positive, and we’re flabbergasted by the lack of response. We scheduled an appointment to have a kitchen appliance checked. Couldn’t get an appointment until 5 days later, but we locked it in. Were given an 8:00-10:00
am window, but also told we’d be the first appointment of the day. I completely adjusted my work day to be at home for this appointment— both I and my husband run our own businesses, so are rarely home during the day. The morning of the
appt, and literally 8 minutes before the scheduled time (at 7:52 am) I get a voice mail (on my cell phone # for some reason, even though that wasn’t the # I’d provided for contact purposes) from
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
that the technician
could not come out. That’s it - the appt isn’t happening. We were offered no apologies, no effort to send an alternate technician during that same confirmed window. When I called back just a few minutes later, he said we could schedule for another day. Again, no apologies, and very cavalier and rude when I asked why another technician wasn’t dispatched for the same time. This is a very large company—surely there were others available? I contacted the company via their online feedback system to express my frustration and have received no response or acknowledgement whatsoever. This demonstrated lack of care for the customer has convinced me that I need to take our family’s electrical and plumbing business elsewhere. Truly appalling.

I called around 8:30 in the morning to schedule an appointment any time in the next week or two to check and replace 4 faulty outdoor faucets.
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
told me he was working on today's schedule and might have someone available today. He called back at 9 and said someone would be here by 10.
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
arrived on time and performed all necessary work.
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
was professional, efficient and helpful. He provided an initial estimate and explained issues that would impact that amount. During the work he showed me the issues that were unexpected (the corroded pipes), explained the process to repair them, and quoted the charges. He showed me what he was doing throughout and explained each process. In spite of weather (steamy sun alternating with thunderstorms every fifteen minutes) he remained calm, pleasant and efficient. Exceptional service. I am grateful to Angie's List, and all the previous reviews. I am especially grateful to Plumber

lMy home warranty company that sent them to check what i thought was a clogged pipe. It turned out to be a broken pipe and my home warranty does not cover broken pipes. I was fine with that and they gave me an estimate for repairs. This is my rental property and he knew I was having to put my tenants up in a hotel if I didn't get it fixed ASAP. He gave me an estimate for $2675.00 + another $288 to reset 2 toilets. I thought it was high (knowing nothing about plumbing) so I called my regular plumber and they came out and gave me an estimate for $400. They did the same thing as the estimate for $2675 with the exception of a double sweep clean-out that was on the invoice from SWAT which my plumber explained was unnecessary. A single clean-out would do for a 6' area. I understand that companies have different prices and some are higher than others but a $2275. difference is OUTRAGEOUS. The guy was unprofessional besides the price gauging in acting like he did not believe me that up until that point I had not had previous issues with the plumbing since I had owned the home. I continuously felt like I had to repeat/defend that I had had none in the previous 2 years.

We first used the company last April when we had our water evaporative cooling system inspected and turned on for summer.

sent
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
Day out and we were very happy. The system hadn't been used for a couple of years and we were ready for the worst.
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
looked it over and said that everything looked pretty good and he did a thorough cleaning and servicing and changed the water filter. He also took a long time to explain to us how to use the system since we were new to this type of air conditioner. The system worked great for several months but early this week it quit. I called
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
to see if they could send
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
back out. They said he was booked fairly solid but since our system was out and the temperatures were in the 90's they would shift things around and send him out the next day.
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
came out as scheduled and quickly went to work. He found that the water pump was bad so he changed it. The whole job took him about half an hour. When he came in to tell us we were good to go we asked how much we owed him and he said not to worry about it and that he would see us in October to change the system back to heating mode. Over the past 40 years my wife and I have lived in 6 different states and owned 10 different houses. We have used many different tradesmen and have experienced good, average and bad, but
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
is the best. I would hope that all of
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
's technicians are equal to our experience with
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
. At this time we would not dream of using anyone else.

Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
is the most pleasant and easy to work with in-home service provider I have ever used. They were prompt, courteous, clean, and exceptionally professional.

M was the service tech and he took his time to fully explain the options and prices. The estimate and repair were done in the same afternoon with high quality workmanship and materials. The price was flat rate and reasonable given the amazing service and quality of the product. I would not consider using another plumber and will recommend

This is my rental property so I wanted to use a company I had used previously and that I knew the quality of the work. They have always been prompt at responding and performing the work. This was no different. Although the price was a little bit of a shock to start with, it did include a complete replacement single faucet
Queens Plumbers Provider Name Locked
shower package and Angel was there most of the day. I might have been able to save a few $'s by shopping around, but the comfort of knowing that the work will be done properly is worth any potential savings I 'might' have found.
I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I needed more plumbing work doing.
