"She is wonderful and her bedside manner is especially good. She is very popular and can be difficult to get an appointment with. I have been a patient with her for about 6 years now." She is very thorough and knowledgeable.

"I found them very unprofessional. I had my medical records sent from Texas to them and I had a doctor referral who have listed my symptoms and when they called me back, they basically" said just keep on taking your pain medication, we won’t see you. Then I asked if they could refer someone else that I could go see, said no and that was basically the end of the conversation.

"We picked
Neurolgy Associates,
location. Dr. Meliana
was assigned to my mother. When I completed the new patient" forms. I explained our issue with generic testing and that it would not be accurate or effective to quiz my mother on things she's never known, even before her illness. (And yes, we did explain that to the other doc) I was so happy and appreciative that she met my mother at her level and.ability of communication, including speaking to her English and Spanish sometimes. I felt that we were and.still are successful with Dr
! I was grateful that she ordered a.baseline of tests, .including blood work (none of which had been done before) She prescribed a a new.med. (We had been told before that there was nothing else to change or offer) I could see a.very bright difference within a few weeks. Doc was.also able to see a positive change at follow-up. So happy I was very impressed with their electronic communication. We are offered a treatment summary after each appointment. We can communicate and follow treatment through a.patient portal. (Nothing of the sort before) If I had to share.any challenges, I would say the wait to see the doc.once we.get.in could be better We waited 45 minutes.to get an EKG test with the clinician. I'm convinced that wasn'necessary, not sure.what was.going on there? Overall, love the change we made to Tacoma Neurology!!

I have been seeing her for about 2 years. She has an excellent bedside manner and is a great listener. She researches things for you and makes sure she finds the best solution for a problem. She does not make snap decision. She has a great office staff and I have not had an issue getting in to see her.

They are the best in Maryland for most doctors. Scheduling appointments can take a few months if you're not someone who goes there all the time. The staff is polite. The nephrology, gastroenterology, urology, and physical therapy departments are all great. However, I didn't particulary care for the neurological department there.

She is just wonderful. I have been very lucky. I have been seeing her since I was 21 years old, so that's quite awhile now! She is always available, I can call her whenever I need her. She is super great and a wonderful person. She is warm, funny, caring, and supremely personable. You can depend on her no matter what.

During the appointment he was taking cellphone calls and sending texts. He never look us in the eyes. He does give time and he does not explain the issue or his diagnostic. He wanted to send us for a referral next door to his office for a physical therapy treatment without any further study. When we insisted he send us for an MRI and then he did not tell us about the mass found on the report. Overall, I will not return to him because he is not caring or gives you the time and the most common courtesy - pay attention to you.

She's wonderful! She's very intelligent in her field -- much more than other neurologists I've seen. She's also very personable and takes her time with you as a patient. The only down side is that she's very busy so appointments can get off track. However, I like that she goes out of her way to ensure you're taken care of!
