"Buying a new oven became a kitchen makeover for us. The new oven didn't fit in the space the old oven occupied so we needed a cabinet maker to fill in the gap" and install the new oven. We found
here on Angie's List in October 2014 and called him. The first contact was with his father who seemed to be a great guy, he told me that his son
has taken over the day to day running of the business and doing the woodwork. I got
's direct number from his dad and called him. He answered the first time (this alone was impressive). I told him what I needed and he was very honest with me and said that he was going to be busy with jobs until December, however he said he would come out to the house and patch the oven in so we could use it. He said it would be just $80.00 for this and he and his wife could come out that week to do it. I told him to come and let him know that my wife would be the only one there because I was going to be out of town and wouldn't be able to help. He said that was no problem. He showed up the day he promised and right on time. My wife was very impressed with both
and his wife.
got the oven in place and working and put a board in to fill the gap. Our new oven was working! While there my wife and
talked about what could be done with the oven stack to make it more functional as we needed to change it anyway. They came up with several ideas and left it that we would talk further in December when he came back to finish the oven. The last week of December
and I talked and he once again showed up the day he said he would and right on time. He and his wife had some great suggestions as to what to do with the space and
was able to rough sketch what we discussed. At the same meeting we also brought up a new island to replace our old one which was looking tired and leaning a bit. Once again
and his wife has great suggestions to add to what my wife and I were thinking about.
left with sketches in hand and sent us back a very professional drawing of what the island would look like. He quoted a price and we agreed to move forward. To my amazement, he said it would only take 3 weeks to complete. I was even more amazed when he did it on time and stuck to original price!
had to custom make the trim to match what was in our home and also match 30 year old stain. He had to custom make cabinet doors to match what we had. All are first class jobs and look awesome. Before he started building the island he came back out to talk over what we decided on to make sure it was exactly the right thing. Sure enough, as we spoke we made some modification which made the island even more usable for us. When he came to install everything he wasn't fully pleased with the way it looked so he took the doors back with him and worked to match what we had even better. A week later everything was complete and it is fantastic. We have already talked to him about some other custom work in the kitchen and I can see many jobs in my future using
.

"
showed up on time, with everything we needed and we went right to work building. This was a a design of my own, which Jjustin helped make" workable as we went along -- but it was not a kit, we built this from scratch.
was very professional and knowledgeable, and helped me make my design work with a number of crucial suggestions and improvements. He was a total pleasure to work with and is very attention to detail oriented. I have also visited
's home and have seen a shed he built, as well as a number of cabinets and shelving units he has built that all look fantastic.
also built a small table and two chairs for my kids playroom which are very cute and the kids love and use all the time.

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

This project began because we were interested in removing the wall that separated our kitchen, dining room and living room. We have been living in this house for 15 years and rarely used the formal dining room. Our kitchen was 25 years old and was in need of a face lift. We felt that the open concept would add much more value to our home both monetarily as well as for our own enjoyment. We contacted
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, owner of
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, because we have been working with
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
on all of our renovations for at least 25 years.
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
introduced us to a kitchen designer that helped to create the layout of the kitchen.
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
did all the demolition of the kitchen and dining room. This included removal of a tile floor that was laid down on top of 1 ½ inches of cement. We live in a bi-level house, which had a wood-burning fireplace in our downstairs family room with a chimney that came up through the dining room. We instructed
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to remove the fireplace so that we could achieve the open concept we desired. However, when he started to remove the dual sided fireplace that sat in the middle of the family room, he discovered that the framing was structural, so it would need to be removed and replaced with a gas fireplace. Anyone who owns a home and has done renovations in the past knows that you have to be prepared for surprises and one change can create more changes than anticipated.
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
contracted with all the subcontractors we needed (plumbers, electricians and granite and tile installers). He also introduced us to a flooring specialist who helped us find the hardwood floor we wanted. We already had hardwood floors in our dining room and living room, but we wanted to replace them with flooring that was more contemporary (wider boards) and that would flow into the kitchen.
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his team prepared the floor for the installation of the new floor (removal of old floor and repairs), installed all the cabinets and appliances, built a broom closet, and installed the new fireplace (after the plumber ran the gas line). We were responsible for selecting all the appliances, hardware and lighting. A project of this size is not without problems and my husband and I can be very demanding. We are perfectionists and demand the same of others. One of the reasons we like working with
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is that he listens to your concerns and makes every effort to please his customers. He is trust worthy, and responsive. I received phone calls from
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
at the end of most days providing me with an update on progress and status. When I arrived home if I still had questions, I would call
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
on my way into the office to address my questions. He was always available for my calls. The remodel was a 4 month project. There were delays due to changes we made and waiting for parts or inspections. We lived in the house for all but 2 weeks of the project and
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his team cleaned up at the end of each day. We highly recommend
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
for any remodeling project. He is a true professional.

We are thrilled that we selected
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to manage so much of our renovation project.

Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
were wonderful to work with. We tasked them with a fun challenge of building a wine storage alcove in an empty space under our stairs -- it is located in our dining room but the wall where the alcove was going went under the stairs -- and making it look somewhat
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
by blending the cabinet doors into existing trim in the dining room. They walked me through all of the steps and what would happen when throughout the project. I liked that they took their time to evaluate, measure, brainstorm, discuss and sketch out the full project. During the last quarter of 2014, my goal was to have it completed by the end of the year, and they were very forthcoming about a busy schedule in advance to make sure expectations were set, which I appreciated, and, in the end, they were able to execute the project before my deadline. They had great ideas and we are very happy with the refined look of the alcove. There was one adjustment that we asked them to take a look at after the project completion, and they jumped right on it and accommodated our request. Thank you!

We did setup a consultation and
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came out and we discussed a few items. As he was leaving he did mention that it might be a few weeks to get the designs back to us as they are a smaller employer and it does take time to create those designs. I didn't think that to be an issue as we were in no rush. A few months have past and we reached out again to check the status and was told that they thought it was already sent, but they will work on it right away. That was at the end of December and at this point I have sent 3 more messages all going unreturned.
At this point we could care less about the 3D images, but the entire process has been a bit annoying.

I own a series of apartments in the Danbury Area. I first met
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
in connection with the painting and finish work on an apartment building I was completing. He gave me a competitive quote to do all interior painting and install kitchen cabinets and appliances.

First, they showed up every day they were supposed to be there. They were on time and ready to work.
Second, they did very good work. They were accommodating and made great suggestions with regard to modifications to the project in order to get the job done in an efficient and cost effective manner.

I was so pleased by his work that I now use him to repair and renovate all my apartments. I own 35 units in the Danbury area so I have had a lot of experience with this company and I highly recommend them.

When I was looking for someone to redo my kitchen and bath I had a few people come to the house, I hired
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his crew mainly due to the attentiveness that
Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
had to what I was looking for. These jobs were done in a timely fashion and were done to perfection. The details in the carpentry is beautiful. I would hire

Marlboro Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and crew from TD Builders:)
