Marlboro Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
has lost me as a customer. First, a little history. I have used this company twice in the past to repair cracks in my house's foundation. The work was, for the most part, satisfactory. I have had them out twice to repair poorly poured concrete that has heaved out of the sidewalk where foundation repairs were made. They have had to fix the same problem twice - no big deal as their work is warrantied. They missed some cracks on first inspection so our basement still took on water in
Why have they lost me and my referrals? This spring, my basement again took on water after a heavy rain. Having worked with
Marlboro Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
in the past, I figured I'd just have them come in and see if they could diagnose the problem. I made the appointment for the earliest date which was almost 2 months out. Two days before the date, they called and left me a confirmation message. One day before, the sent me a confirmation email. On the day of the appointment, I took half a day off of work to wait at home during their 2-hour window. 20 minutes before the window was to expire, I called to make sure they were still coming. I was told by an operator that they would contact the dispatcher and have them send me an update. No update came. When the window of time had come and gone, I called again to find out if they were planning on coming late. They seemed surprised that no one had contacted me and transferred me to a dispatcher. The dispatcher said "you're in the system but you're not really in the system. Something funky happened." He then asked if I wanted to reschedule. At that point, I was incredulous. I had taken half a day, wasted my time and they were not the least bit apologetic. I didn't want to reschedule but I did want them to come out and fix the heaving cement that had again come out of the sidewalk - he transferred me to their warranty department. I called back to see if I could talk to a manager or owner about the attitude of the dispatcher as I couldn't figure out why he was annoyed with me when it was their problem the made me

half a vacation day. They transferred me back to the same guy - He answered "This is

again" in an annoyed

. They had obviously told him it was me again. He said "look, all I can do is reschedule. They system messed up."
So, here is what he could have done to save this customer and avoid this negative review.
1. Apologize. Realize the inconvenience to a regular customer and try to find a solution.
2. Offer an appointment at my convenience - not put me back into the system that messed up to begin with.
3. And this isn't even necessary if the other two are done - offer a discount on services.
4. Did I say apologize? Yeah, that never happened once.

When they moved my washer, they didn't realize that the hose sprang a
leak. Since I wasn't living there yet, I didn't realize that water
leaked all over the carpeting. The owner of Triad came back, cleaned up
everything, set up fans and dehumidifiers until all was dried. He even
disposed of boxes and other things that needed to go out. Everything
was left in good order . They never expected any extra payment for this
work.

The company rescheduled the appointment twice. Three men arrived, went in and out of the house never closed the front door. The work was performed, since I could not be home my brother-in -law was there. He had to ask them to make the job look a little more professional, and to do a better job of cleaning up. Before they would leave he had to sign a paper that the owners were 100% satisfied, they refused to leave until it was signed. I wish I could share pictures
I just hope crack doesn't leak when it rains.

I had a severe moisture problem in my basement which caused a mold develop and most of the basement floor and walls to deteriorate. The work performed by
Marlboro Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
was excellent they treated the walls for the mold, dug two foot deep trench along all four walls of the basement, laid down rocks, and piping along the walls as well then they dug two separate holes and placed two sump pumps in the basement. Then applied moisture proof

over all four walls, and all in three days time. I couldn't believe the difference when the work was completed. My basement is completely dry and absolutely no smell of moisture or of a basement, it smells like a normal room. The team was always very polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. I also love the fact that they offer financing for the work. My husband and I loved the entire experience so much we recommended them to our next door neighbor. I give them an "A" for overall performance. Sincerely,

The people I talked to on the phone and the salesman were very professional and prompt. We had to wait several weeks for a sales person to be available to come out and quote, which was a minor inconvenience. When the appointment for the quote came, the sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have quite the sales show with the information they send in advance and the videos on the laptop the sales person shows about your circumstance.
The major concern was the price differential from other quotes received. They were about 40% higher than other quote received. If it hadn't been for the huge price difference, they would have been a good option.

We set an appointment six weeks ago for them to come out and quote the basement water issues we were having. Six weeks was the earliest appointment available. Due to schedules, we scheduled the appointment for the quote at 5:30pm. We received the literature from the company quickly that was quite comprehensive. Good impression to start, expect for the lengthy wait for the quotation. The week they were supposed to arrive we received two phone messages form their office confirming the time. They stated if this would not work to call. Since we were still good with that date/time, we were still good. We had already arranged our schedules since we had such advance notice. The tech also called in between the two confirmation calls to see if we could change our time due to the gap between his appointments and he didn't want to be 'twiddling his fingers' in between. Again, he did leave a number to call if we could change. We couldn't change the schedule the day before, so again we didn't call.
The day of the scheduled appointment came. No call, no show. No word since either and it has been four days. Guess we will not be choosing to work with this group if our business didn't really end up meaning that much.

gave me a consultation on a water problem in a corner of my basement underneath a concrete porch. He was on time (showed up 15 minutes early actually). After assessing the area he pointed out that the water was coming from above grade and therefore was something better addressed by concrete sealing and covering the porch with a roof or awning. Nevertheless he still spent a good 40 minutes answering many of my questions and offering to explain how interior basement waterproofing works, even showing me pictures and samples of the material they use for the underground pipe and wall spacer. I learned a great amount and was impressed with his knowledge, his detailed assessment of the water problem, and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this company!

I am writing this review because I feel that others need to be warned about the unscrupulous salesman I encountered.
We had to open up a basement wall due to a pipe leak. While it was open, the mold remediators suggested having someone look at the cracks in the mortar of the cinder block wall. I called AAAction Waterproofing due to their high AngiesList rating, and they were also the first company able to come out. The salesman took one glance at the wall and told me that I needed a sump pump system ($4k) and that the cracks in the wall were absolutely due to water leakage. Since it was my first estimate, I didn't know all the right questions to ask, but I never sign a contract at the first visit. He mentioned nothing about repairing the cracks or reinforcing the wall. He told me, "This needed to be dealt with 20 years ago." He asked me whether I was getting other estimates and from where (sorry, none of your business). Fortunately, I never do work without getting more than one estimate.
I had two other contractors come out - both foundation specialists. I told them nothing about this estimate before I showed them the basement wall. Both of them said the cracks were normal for a 50-year-old house and that they would not recommend any particular intervention. Both of them said that if I wanted to, I could get carbon fiber reinforcements on the wall, but that would be extremely precautionary and they did not see a need for it. One foundation specialist even demonstrated to me how he knew the mortar cracks were not due to water issues. The foundation specialists were appalled that someone had told me that I needed a French drain and sump pump system. These contractors were equally likely to get my business, but they were honest and told me I did not need to do anything.
I sent the salesperson an email the night after the estimate, but before the other estimates, for some follow-up questions - it has been a week and I have not yet heard back. Someone different called me a few days after the estimate and asked "what I thought" - I told her I needed my questions answered first and she said she would ensure I got the answers, which I still did not get. I suspect this salesperson knew, based on my questions, he could not pull the wool over my eyes and so he has not bothered to answer them.
I would never recommend this company. Even if they do good work, the estimate of the work needed cannot be trusted. I shudder to think of how easy it would have been for him to exploit someone in a more vulnerable position.

Mr.
Marlboro Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a respectful, polite, hard-working, diligent professional. He is a true engineer but also an artist. He works carefully and assesses the situation as he proceeds. This was a difficult job because the previous owner had used sub-standard workmen and materials. The details were intricate, but because Mr.
Marlboro Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
is an engineer, he figured out exactly how to proceed. He did the work on time and according to budget. I highly recommend his services. The results are structurally sound and beautiful.

The service call went very well and we were pleased with the service. The only issue we had was scheduling the repairs. In defense of

it had been raining a great deal so the demand was very high. They did their best to accommodate us.
