Business Description: Tallat Design is a small (5 employee's) residential contracting company that does all phases of residential work. Design, additions, renovations, kitchens, wood and tile floors, bathrooms. In small additions or renovations we do our own electrical and plumbing to better control both pricing and scheduling, both are subject to proper inspections. ( work performed as is allowed by jurisdictional code) We do insulated foundations but sub out standard foundations and floors. We also utilize sheetrock, plumbing and heating, and electrical subs on larger projects. We are very customer service oriented. Great care is taken while working in or on our customers homes. Vacuuming at the end of each day, using floor protection, using indoor and outdoor shoes in bad weather,isolating sections of a home off to construction to minimize dust and debris. No smoking is allowed in the homes or in close proximity to entryways. We strive to return all phone calls on the same day or within 24 hours. We also strive to work continuously on our projects, not here a week gone a week, here a week. We like to start and finish as quickly as time permits, it makes customers happier and us happier. We provide recommendations and encourage potential customers to call and check on our work. It protects you and makes us look good! I grew up in a family residential construction business in Ct. and went to school for it. As the owner I have over 30 years experience in the field and 20 years running this business. Quality, value service is what we strive for. We have done projects in both Block Island and Newport, RI as well as the Albany, NY area.
