"He just takes all the time he needs to with every single patient. He always makes sure that everything is done right. We will continue to use him. He is the best and it is really tough" to get into. We have been seeing him for years and years so we just see him every six months. It can be really hard to get an appointment with. He is very popular. He may not be punctual but when you are in there he is yours.

"Dr.
was a Godsend to us! My daughter is a brain tumor survivor who suffers both migraines and seizures, as well as minor cognitive issues resulting from her" tumor. Dr.
was the fifth neurologist we had seen in seven years. As a teenager my daughter was very frustrated that her neurologists didn't speak to her directly and would dismiss her symptoms or side-effects. Dr.
has listened patiently to my daughter, has not pushed new medications on her, has advocated for her with both the epilepsy and neuro-oncology folks at Children's, and has worked with my daughter on alternative ways to manage her symptoms. She has taken time to explain scans and tests to my daughter and myself that other doctors skimmed over or didn't address fully. She has written letters for us for us to schools and has made coordinating care for my daughter so much nicer. Her bedside manor is wonderful (a very hard quality to find in a neurologist)! I will be very sad when my daughter ages out of the children's system and we have to find an adult neurologist- Dr.
will be a hard act to follow.

"Our appointments with Dr.
Djukic have gone well. We will continue to bring our child to see her and her team. We fly to see her and it is worth the time and" money. We would highly recommend her without reservation.

Children often are diagnosed with illnesses and conditions that affect adults, but because of their special needs, they are often referred to pediatric specialists. Specialists in all areas can provide treatment plans to improve health and quality of life.

Pediatric neurology

A pediatric neurologist specializes in diagnosing and treating nervous system disorders in children. Children often see this kind of specialist because of a tumor, developmental disorder or seizures or because of a pattern of unusual sensations, behaviors or movements.

Experts say research programs, like the General Electric and NFL "Head Health Challenge," are needed to further develop concussion treatment options.

The primary and most effective treatment for concussion remains rest. But to what extent varies, as doctors seek better ways to tailor care to the individual.

is very good with my son. She is able to speak to him in language that he will be able to understand. She is very funny and patient. He sees her ongoing, so he will continue to use her in the future.

After 5 calls this week, I still don't have the script my child needs and we are almost out of medicine. I will now have to pay a premium to get a short term supply before the mail order is called in.

We saw her within the last month. My child has been seeing her for 2 or 3 years. She has a good bedside manner. The office returns my calls in a timely manner. They are reasonably easy to get a hold of, and are sensitive to my concerns. We will continue to use her in the future.

Our son usually takes him but we pay the bills so we feel qualified to talk about him. He is extremely skilled at what he does and he works wonderfully with the children. He works with the whole family. He is just phenomenal. We will absolutely continue to see him.

actually diagnosed our son with Hydrocephalus while he was still in the womb. He has advised us all along concerning the condition ensuring we were well informed and prepared for what ever would happen. He counseled us through the possibility that our son might not live past delivery, and when he survived performed the VP shunt placement. His office staff is kind and wonderful as should any staff be that works with children and their parents. Recently he's moved to a new location within the B CookChildren's offices, and this has also provided an upgrade in service. If your child has any issues with the brain we cannot recommend anyone other than Dr

and the team at Cook Children's Hospital.

He is the most incredible guy ever. I have a cousin that I take care of, and she has been his patient since she was a child. She has a very uncommon disease which is not ordinary, spinal disease which also has neurological properties to it, and I accompany her on her visits and I have all the history, and I have never in my life met a doctor like him. Not only does he talk to his patient on the same level that he is on, but he talks to the people who bring the patients in, and I have never seen that before. Every single aspect of this man is wonderful. It’s like he is a relative, although he is not. He just connects with my cousin on a level that it is deeper than doctor patient. He does something incredible, and he will say he doesn’t know and we need to look it up together. My cousin does a lot of research online because there is not much she can do, and she researches things like how to manage her medications and so on. She likes to look up new things and new techniques, and Dr.

listens to what I have to say, and that is very unique and I have never witnessed that before. I would rate him highly.

was not only medically wrong in what he told us (he might end up being right, but said something about our child as a definite rather than a maybe) he was rude and disrespectful. He said our son, who just turned 3 and who has autism (in his words, mild and high-functioning) will NEVER talk. After my wife and I said "what?!" he said again "I don't think he will ever talk, do you?"
Then he had the audacity to tell us he was trying to "inspire" us.
