Sewer Cleaning Reviews in Brooklyn

They were ready to go at the first phone call, asking me when it would be convenient to come by. Arriving on-time he was polite and personable and, as it turns out, from the neighborhood. The tub was unclogged in no time and I was a happy camper. We will definitely use them again.

They came within hours of my call which is just amazing. I have used this company before and that was over three years ago. (Before that, I used another place and had to call at least every year.)
guys are courteous, pleasant and thorough. They also gave me some advice about how to keep the dirt out of the yard drain for even longer.

Sewer Cleaning reviews in Brooklyn

I am very happy they came when they said they would. They got the permits they need and finished on time and on budget. Everyone from

and water mains and sewer company are very professional. They all know what to do from is office staff and all his men. And

the owner was on the job everyday. I would tell everyone I know to call them.

Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
seemed professional when i called to make the appointment to finish the job that the previous company did not finish. The appointment was scheduled and I waited almost 4 hours for the technician to show up.
Supposedly I had the first appointment for the day but by 10 am when the technician did not arrive, I was repeatedly assured he would be there shortly.
He was finishing up the customer before me.

By 12:30 pm I could no longer wait and cancelled the appointment.

The dispatcher did try to reschedule but I had taken the day off and was not going to waste another day waiting for them.

This was the worst service I ever received from a company that continually promised The Technician was on his way.

The 4pm-7 pm time frame that I was quoted was meaningles. The technician showed up around 10 pm .

He was disgusted and obviously overworked. And alone. How could the technicians not work in pairs ?

When he saw the flooded pit he told me he had to charge me to use his sump pump to drain it.

Yet his pump kept getting clogged and failed.

My brother and I had to use our own 4
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
shop vac to clean out the pit while he cleaned the base of his sump pump.

Once the pit was drained , he tried to snake the line but as time progressed , it became clear that this company could not provide the service I needed.

Finally after 11 pm, he called the office and they said they could not clear the lines any further.

The technician began to pack up his equipment to leave. We were then charged $150 for 2 lines and the use of his sump pump.

They did not want to take American Express and insisted on an other card, preferrably Visa or Mastercard.

The lines were not properly cleaned out and resulted in two more trips by other Sewer and Drain Companies.

Based of two other prior experiences with
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
, I called two other company to get the job done. Reason being, the first time
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
plumber showed up it was a day early. The second time not at all, so being that had a limited amount of time. I needed to get the work done before 2:00 p.m. Suffice to say, the other company showed up before

. The plumber representing
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
called me when he saw the competitors van. Give me a piece of his mind. Granted! There was no cursing but the idea of customer service was completely absent in this guys mind. He vented about his time and gas as if I'm ignorant to the time constraints I also face as a customer. I allowed him to vent as the other plumber worked until he hung up. Most of Brooklyn got 100 year old pipe, so there is no shortage of work, nor did i get any lip from the second plumbing company. This is no reflection of the operators taking the calls but there has to be some better was of communicating an real time estimated time of arrival for those of us that can't sit down for the entire day wait for service request.
Alas, when I call for service again and most of us homeowners will, it won't be
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
. It will be the competitor that responded to me, "Okay, thank you for calling sir". Spoke volumes about the people that work with this company!!!

I own and manage an aging relative's dwelling in Brooklyn, but I live in NJ. So all my contact was by phone, not in person.
One Saturday morning I got a call that the primary toilet was clogged, did not yield to plunging. After looking briefly on Angie's list I chose
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
. Called at 8:30am. His wife said they could be at the house around 10, explained that the fee for snaking was $90, and toilet removal (if needed) was $245. (She'd asked where I got the name, so she knew to apply the 10% discount.) I said OK (though I mistakenly assumed the second fee was for the whole job; it's only for the second step).
They did indeed show up by 10. After 40 minutes of unsuccessful snaking, they got my approval to remove the toilet, and after
around 30 minutes removed the offending pad from the back. They then told me the total for the job, $380 with taxes, but said that the flange broke (from age, rust, corrosion) so that the toilet could not be re-installed. They said the problem must be fixed by replacing drainpipe from the basement below, a big job. They did not have time to do it the same day, nor the next –Easter Sunday— so we were left with a non-functioning bathroom. They said they'd get back with an estimate.
I was very satisfied with their response, promptness, and the unclogging. The price seemed high for what was apparently (from my end) an 80-minute job. From my standpoint it stung because we were still left without a functioning toilet, but of course from their standpoint the labor was only somewhat less than if they'd re-installed the toilet before leaving. And I'm not sure it's out of line with what others on the list have paid for similar work.
The ending: I found a self-employed plumber who showed up 2 hours later, decided he could replace the flange and repair the whole thing (since the drain below was PVC, not old metal), but suggested the old toilet be replaced. So he got a new toilet ($125) and flange, made the repair and installed the toilet ($175). (I'll review him when he's ready to join the list.) Time will tell whether he was right.

My slop sink was clogged and since I wanted to clean my drain pipes for a couple of months now, I decided to call
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
. I placed the call at 3pm and they were at my house within the hour. Very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and gave me the peace of mind that the work was being done right.

I called and they told they would show fromat 1 to 3:pm. The guy came in at 1:30 PM. He was very profesional and explained to me what the issue was. He quoated me 350.00 for the work. I used the 10 percent Angies' coupon, so the prices went down from 350. to 315.00 He took about 35 minutes to unclog the pipe and all the clog issues went away. I would use this serveice again.

I called
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
Service and was told they would be at my house by 10AM on Monday Morning.
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
arrived on time and ready to help. He quickly accessed the problem and told me what he needed to do to fix it. He brought his machinery downstairs and off to work he went. His machine brought back roots that have grown into my sewer from the tree in front of my house.
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
suggested that we "water jet" the line to get as many of the roots out as possible being that I am not ready for the expense of replacing the entire sewer line. I went ahead with the job and the sewer is flowing just fine. I would recommend
Brooklyn Sewer Services Provider Name Locked
to my friends and family and will certainly be using him again in the future.
